ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In ancient Rome military did not exist that could have dealt with a revolt.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  City then consisted of around 200,000 civilians.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Weapons used were crude not sophisticated and somewhat primitive.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  There was constant need to feed the people.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Due to hardships and sufferings mobs emerged.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  when the Government is ineffective it lost the power and ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ credibility.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Anarchy

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mob rule is anarchy.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Today Governments maintain credibility based on reputation.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  News spread worldwide instantaneously with a click of a mouse as a result of modern IT and technology.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Middle East Mob Rule was ignited initially by a young man and few others using cyber language which led to the Cyber Revolution that has spread to the major part of the Middle East.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Today it has gone completely out of control in the Middle East.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  One wonders whether the agitators know what they are clamouring for. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ They do not know whether they are agitating for Western democracy, democratic rights, freedom, liberation, anti government or regime change.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  But the fact remains that there are invisible forces behind the entire process of igniting the masses for uprising against dictatorial rulers in the Middle East which has united different ethnic groups.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mob rule is dangerous

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mob rule is dangerous , unfair and unpredictable.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It is difficult to locate the source and to find the leader as in a mob rule decisions are taken spontaneously.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

Mob rule is difficult to understand as the demands and aspirations of the agitations are unclear.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Apparently they have become pawns of invisible forces awaiting to grab the natural resources which are available only in this part of the world.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  West is only interested in the oil rich countries with other natural resources.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  They directly or indirectly encourage and direct the mob with the intention of regime changes for their benefit.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mob Rule in the United Kingdom

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mob rule in the United Kingdom is an explosion of a time bomb.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  One should keep their own house in order before finding solutions and reforms for others.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Our sympathies and thoughts are always with the right thinking, traditional British people who are kind gentle and gentlemen of the first order.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Today unfortunately situation in the United Kingdom has changed for a peaceful reputed world power to a battle field.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  United Kingdom is ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ no longer a world power though wish to cling into the world body which decides the destiny of the mankind and the small countries.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ World has become an unsafe, unsteady, unpredictable place.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  There is tension in Europe including Greece, Italy and many States in the region.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Unrest in the Middle East is growing faster with the famine in the Africa and economic downtown in the USA with disturbances in Iraq and Afghanistan for which USA is responsible for.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka experienced mob rules in 1971, 1983, 1988 and between 1983 and 2008.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Today things have changed to the extent that there is no room whatsoeverƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  for another 1983 riots or mob rule for decades.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Today Sri Lanka is one of the most stable and secured countries in the world with no possibilities at all of reemergence of the bitter past.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  In Sri Lanka peace is completely dawned, peace is completely done and sealed for the next few decades.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mob rule should be condemned

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Mob Rule in any form anywhere should be condemned and clammed down.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Self appointed world leaders use the existing international framework to bring about regime changes with ulterior motives by instigating States and peoples.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  To effect regime changes the world situation and the society must be protected.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  There is imminent danger of world being infected in tendency for disturbances. The only solution to remedy the situation is to spread the word of impartiality and equality, equal protection, equal rights and equal treatment to everybody considering the world as a family.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  This could be initiated by the countries and regions espousing peace and exercising peaceful co-existence. To the credit of the South Asian countries in ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the region is calm and the countries are safe with model democracies.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It is time the South Asian Nations and the region as a whole initiate a dialogue with the warring and disturbing groups to bring about settlements based on the breeding and the conduct of great cultures andƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  religions such as Hinduism, Islam, Christianity and BuddhismƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  which has become part and parcel of the South Asian Culture.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  South Asia and the SAARC Regional Organization could be one of the best vehicles to launch this project to make the world a pleasant place to live with peace and peaceful co-existence full of loving kindness.
