Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapksa gets Honorary Doctorate from China

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapksa has been conferred with an honorary doctorate by the University of Foreign Studies, Beijing, China today (Aug 11).ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The president has also declared open the new Sri Lanka Research Center at the University this morning.

Chancellor of the University, Professor Chen speaking at the occasion has said the steps being taken by the Sri Lankan President would help not only to improve the educational ties between Sri Lanka and China but also to strengthen peace in the world.

President Rajapaksa is on a 4-day official visit to China


One Sri Lanka Peace Watch congratulates the President of Sri Lanka who not only freed us from terror but also brought us back the lost pride of our nation!
