I didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t start this morning well.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  When I read that you had spoken at the UN and the words, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Baird also singled out Uganda for its policies on gays and lesbians, Syria for its crackdown on pro-democracy activists, and SRI LANKA for trying to stop investigations into possible war crimes committed during the island nationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s decades-long civil war,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ I was livid.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-O Canada! Not you again, just leave Sri Lanka aloneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, I said.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Having hemorrhaged and killed thousands and thousands of innocent people in my motherland for 13 long Liberals years by letting the Tamil Diaspora collect two million dollars a month and stuff the Tamil Tiger war chest to buy sophisticated war weapons to kill my people, and now lobbying you and the rest of the Conservative politicians to barter their votes if you all get at Sri Lanka for killing their Eelam dream

John, this is what you should have said in your statement ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚¦.and Sri Lanka for trying to stop investigations into possible war crimes by foreign countries who aided and abetted this war by training ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ the Tamil Tiger terrorists, provided funds, electronic, communication, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ heavy equipment, and a lethal armoury, for possible war crimes during this island nationƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s decade-long war.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  If that was said, you bet, John, Canada would be hauled in front of the War Crimes Court in The Hague together with India, Norway, Denmark, England, France and a few other western countries.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  This is no fairy tale.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  This is the true story.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s not dodge the bullet as we Canadians were made to be criminals by our Liberal Government and you and I have a film of Sinhalese and Muslim blood on our palms, together with the rest of the 32 million Canadians.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  So letƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s try not to white-wash our faces to say to the world that we are lily-white on the possible Sri Lankan war crimes, because we are just not.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And you see why I am so livid with your statement at the UN!

Why are we Canadians making ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ such a big issue about possible war crimes ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ by Sri Lanka in the 27-year long ugly war when we Canadians did sweet bugger-all, when the Tamil Tigers killed ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” 62 unarmed civilian settlers at Dollar Farm and Kent Farm on 30, November 1984; when we Canadians did sweet bugger-all when the Tamil Tigers on 14 May 1985 shot and killed 120 ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ unarmed Buddhist devotees including children, dressed in white meditating under the Buddhist sacred Bo-tree at Anuradhapura and wounded another 85; ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ when on 17 April 1987, Canada did sweet bugger-all to express our disgust when Tamil Tigers shot dead 122 civilians including women and children and injured 44 others in the Kithuluthuwa Bus attack; and we Canadians saidƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  absolutely nothing when the Tamil Tigers stopped a bus carrying novice Buddhist monks and shot and brutally mutilated 31 of them together with their mentor, Chief Priest Ven. Hegoda Indrasara at Aranthalawa on 2 June 1987.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And I could go on and on John.

But this specific incident is what the War Crimes Court would nail Canada to the wall for our criminality in the Sri LankaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Tamil separatist war.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  It was in 1994 that a cheque was cut from a Tamil-Canadian account from a Bank in Vancouver which was used to buy explosive materials, 10 tons of hexogen, a plastic explosive material like Semtex and 50 tons of TNT from the Rubezone Chemical Factory in the Ukraine, which were used in the truck bomb which brought down the Central Bank Building in the heart of Colombo killing 114 people and maiming for life another 1,338 others.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  And that happened on January 31, 1996.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  The same material were used by the Tamil Tigers to bomb the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, the most sacred Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka.

You can get confirmation of all what I said from the Conservative Tamil lobbyist Raj Rasalingam, who I know quite well, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ as we worked together in the late 1980s and early 90s to expose the Tamil Tiger sympathizers in Canada, and has little choice but to tell the truth, as Asoka Weerasinghe spoke and told you the truth.

Now you know why your statement at the UN got my goat and started my day being livid at Canada, the country that adopted me and that I love dearly.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ 

Canada, you may even try to use wire brush after wire brush, Vim, Comet, Brillo pads ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ or whatever, to scrub your face to show the world that you are lily-white, but unfortunately that permanent film of Sinhalese and Muslim blood ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ on the palms of your 32 million people will be there for ever to remind Canada ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ that you are guilty for killing my innocent people back in Sri Lanka.

And in conclusion John, let me tell you one thing, that the Sri Lankan Government is only accountable to its 22 million people and not to the outside world, as she had to do what she had to do to normalize their lives and give back to them the most treasured gift, the right of every human-beingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  in a civilized world, their ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-right-to-lifeƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚, which was hijacked by the Tamil Tiger terrorists for 27-years, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ whose sympathizers are lobbying the Conservative government now.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  That is the only reason why the Sri Lankan Government whipped the butts and killed off the Tamil Tiger terrorists militarily which the whole world including Canada said that it was an unwinnable war and to give the Tamils their separate, mono-ethnic, racist Tamil state, Eelam.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Right, John?

That is what bothers you all, isnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it, and that is the only reason why you all want to nail Sri Lanka to satisfy the GTA Tamils, so that you all can pick up the 100,000 votes in the GTA ridings.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  If not you all wouldnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t have cared two prairie straws about Sri Lanka.

By the way John, in case you are wondering who the heck this Asoka Weerasinghe is, this is the guy who was head-hunted and brought over from London, England, in November 1970ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to beƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Head, Thematic Research at Canadian National Museums Corporation, ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ to renovate the 15 new Exhibit Halls at the Victoria Memorial MuseumƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s National Museum of Natural Sciences and the Museum of Man.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ That is the Museum that you as a youngster enjoyed going through the Dinosaur Hall (Life through the Ages), and the Orientation Hall of the Museum of Man which was based on my long poem Trail of Mankind, and the Hall was titled that.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  This was the Hall that had a human sketon at the entrance with a crown on its head.
