JAYALALITHA GOES BERSERK OVER SRI LANKAN KIDS PLAYING SOCCER IN CHENNAI AND SENDS THEM HOME

The racist Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha went into frenzy when she learned that Sri Lankan school kids are scheduled to play friendly soccer games with Tamil Nadu school kids and in a rage has ordered suspension of the stadium officer of the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor stadium in Chennai for allowing football players from Sri Lanka to play a friendly match with the customs team.
She has also ordered some Sri Lankan school kids in Chennai to immediately fly back to Sri Lanka before playing the friendly soccer games.
The overtly anti Sinhala former actress turned Chief Minister who is popularly and ironically known as Amma, the universal symbol of love has surprised many for bringing in her hate politics to hurt kids playing innocent friendly games of soccer. She had gone berserk and issued directions to send the team back to Colombo.
In a statement in Chennai, the Chief Minister said she had also issued orders for sending back eight students and coach of the football team of the Hilburn International School from Ratnapura in Sri Lanka. The school team is in Chennai to play matches with Velammal Higher Secondary School.
Ms. Jayalalithaa said Indian government had granted permission to the Sri Lankan football team to play friendly matches in Tamil Nadu to improve their skills. ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-The decision of the Indian government had humiliated the people of Tamil Nadu and I condemn the Centre for this,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ she said, adding that the permission had been given at a time there was a growing discontent against training being given to the Sri Lankan Army officials in Wellington.
The Chief Minister said the football team had come to Tamil Nadu after Royal College of Colombo showed interest in playing friendly matches. The college had contacted an official of the Reserve Bank of India and the officer had made the arrangement. The team arrived in Chennai on August 30 and played a match with the Customs team in the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium.
ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-When I inquired into the matter, I was told that the Reserve Bank official had sought permission from the stadium officer and he had orally granted permission. The stadium officer has no power to allow matches in the indoor stadium and only the State Sports Development Authority (SDAT) has been invested with the power to allow matches,ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Ms. Jayalalithaa explained, the Hindu reported. Her out of wedlock union with the late M.G.Ramachandran did not produce any children but it allowed her to rise up in the corrupt Tamil Nadu politics.
She said by allowing Sri Lankan football team to play in the stadium, the stadium officer had hurt the sentiments of the Tamil people.
Ms. Jayalalithaa alleged that instead of taking action on the resolution adopted in the state Assembly seeking rehabilitation of Tamils living in camps and restoration of rights on a par with the Sinhalese, the Indian government was ignoring the aspirations of the Tamils by providing training to the Sri Lankan Army.
Though she urged the Centre to send back the two Army officials to Sri Lanka, the Indian government had not pay heed to her demand, she said.
A Sri Lankan parent said JayalalithaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s action reminds what the Buddha preached about Brahmins: One does not become a Brahmin by birth alone but by oneƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s action. Her action against school kids could become her swanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s song, she said.

184 Catholic Sri Lankans from Halāvata (භලාවත) including 75 women and 60 children who were on a pilgrimage to Poornimatha Church and Shrine Basilica of Our Lady of Health Vailankanni in Tamil Nadu, were attacked by a group of activists of Naam Tamilar Katchi headed by Catholic film director Sebastian Seeman, when they were traveling in three buses to the Tiruchirappalli Airport today.
Neither any Catholic missionaries nor any political leaders in Tamil Nadu have come forward to assist and safeguard the 179 innocent Sri Lankan pilgrims.

Karunanidhi and Jayalalitha are trying to distract voters from real issues. Now we know how Tamil Nadu treats its guests on pilgrimage. What happened to the Indian “Atithi Devo Bhavah” (अतिथि देवो भव) culture?
Shame on Tamil Nadu. Uncultured and insensitive Tamil Nadu wonder why its neighbour Sri Lanka is siding with China and turning against India aggressively!

Aiyoh Lorenzo! , how can you expect racially charged TNA led by Rajavarothiam Sampanthan to condemn this?
Insidious Tamils would hint that being friends with Sinhalese and Muslims made you a traitor. The racist rot seems to have intensified over the last eighty years. Tamil leaders may talk about racial tolerance, but acceptance and appreciation for Sinhalese & Muslims seem beyond their ken. Tamils spend an inordinate amount of their time and resources on delineating the differences with Sinhalese & Muslims rather than celebrating similarities with them.
BTW Rajavarothiam Sampanthan completed his high school studies at St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa.

But no surprise there.

Ananda Sangari studied at Zahira and became a racist (Tamil united liberation front).
I read somewhere another hardcore Tamil racist studied at a very popular Sinhala school in Colombo. Luckily he died before he could do anything spectacular. You may know his name.
To be fair, you cannot ONLY blame Tamils.

G.G.Ponnambalam did not study at Royal College but received his secondary education at St. Joseph’s College, Colombo.Veluppillai Chelvanayakam was a teacher at St. Thomas’ College & Wesley College. Veerasingham Anandasangaree was a teacher st Christ the King College Ja-Ela. Anandasangaree was the LSSP’s candidate for Kotahena South Ward at the 1959 Colombo Municipal Council election.
Skirt chasing Manoharan aka Mano Gona-son is also a racist divisive element with genetically infused hatred towards the Sinhalese. Mano Ganesan is a dangerous politician who sows seeds of hostility and hatred. Mano Ganesan’s political life is built on his hatred towards the Sinhalese and always makes a sentimental issue of it to attract the Tamil voters towards him, pretending to be the person who speaks loud. But smart Tamil speaking Sri Lankans see his emptiness.
Lot of stones are being thrown at Mother Lanka, its people, its government and its President. Sri Lanka is at a historical crossroad, and we need patriots, non- partisan politicians, who will unite Sri Lankans distanced by various political disadvantages, not rabid racists who distance the Sri Lankans further away from each other.
