The Sri Lankan govt had issued a travel warning for those visiting Tamil Nadu.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Last week 184 pilgrims had to take refuge in a church as a result of mob attacks. Last year,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ pilgrims visiting Mahabodhi faced the same problem.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This week, Chief Minister J.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Jayalalithaa(JJ) had askedƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ a group of students gone to play soccer with another school, to leave Tamil Nadu. An innocent stadium officer had been suspended. Prior to this JJ asked the Central govt to send back a few military officers undergoing training in Chennai.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Her next target could be the Sri Lankan cricket team !

For JJ it is not good for Sri Lankan pilgrims, students, tourists and so on to visitƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil Nadu. But it was good for Tamil Nadu to train terrorists against Sri Lanka, which led to a 30 year war. LTTE policies and JJ’s approach appears to be on the same wave length. But now that JJ’s attempts to carve out an Eelam was only a dream she seems to beƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ taking vengeance on Sri Lankan citizens. Further, on the pretext of supporting the Tamils,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ JJ is depriving the livelihood of theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil fishermen in the North, by encouragingƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Tamil Nadu fishermen to poach in Sri Lankan waters.

AsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ it is, Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi are vying for political points by attacking Sri Lanka. By doing this they are competing for Tamil Nadu votes. In some of the recent incidents it had been noted that the pilgrims who had been manhandled were Sri Lankan Tamils,despite their appearance and speaking in Tamil. Ironically, so far there had been no comments by the TNA on the recent developments in Tamil Nadu.
While Sri Lankan’s are attacked in Tamil Nadu on the instigation of Jayalalithaa and Karunanidhi, a delegation of youth from Indian army families are on a goodwill tourƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in Sri Lanka. The 25 member team is on a 5 day visit to Sri Lanka.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Jayalalithaa is nothing but a mouth-piece of the LTTE rump !

I agree with Wimal Weerawansa on this who blames India for ALLOWING anti-SL attacks.

We must treat them with hospitality and goodwill because this is the CIVILISED SINHALE country NOT UNCIVILISED Tamil country (Tamil Madu) where visitors are attacked.

Who wants India or Tamil Nadu. Boycott all Indian products. Stop importing from India & duty free advantage for Indian products.

By failing to condemn Jayalalitha, Karunanandi and other racists in Tamilnadu for violating the human rights of SriLankan Fishermen, Pilgrims and sportsmen, the TNA stand nude in front of the international community as a party that supports the LTTE and not the Tamils. A for Jayalalitha, she is a coward and was in hiding when Prabakaran was gunning for her but after his death she has taken upon herself as the heir to Prabakaran’s violent acts and is inciting Tamils in Tamilnadu against all SriLankans.
