As the Appeal Court yesterday quashed the PSC (Parliamentary Select Committee) decision on the Chief Justice, the president stated that all powers regarding leave matters pertaining to Supreme Court judges, and their foreign visits etc., and the approval thereof will now by default be vested in him as the Executive.

He stated that this is so as the Court has in any event, sought to strip the Legislature of any powers with regard to the Judiciary.

    But eg: When judge vedicted ( divide NEP into Two ) Our President said this is nothing to with me & he can not intefer any court judgement !!! now why your intefering appell court judgement Sir !

    Well done President !!! Now You are checked mate( President) !

    Yes you can fool Sinhala people until We Tamil liberty them !
