Hope many will make useful contributions In my opinion and that of many the VERY FIRST THING on the PSC agenda should be to carry out is a retrospective legal test on the legality of 13 A and establish the LEGAL VALIDITY or otherwise of the 13A which SL, was COERCED to sign up to under duress.. However long ago an agreement was signed, if it was illegal at the time of signing it continues as an ILLEGAL Agreement. If the agreement was illegal that is the very end of this saga – and I pray that it be so.
On the attitude of the TNA and a few others refusing to be a party to the PSC, GOSL should despite that include their public pronouncements on the issue for assessment by the PSC. Leaving no room for the TNA etc that their views have been totally ignored. I am also simply amazed by the attitude of the UNP who are trying to pass off as ‘whiter than white’ showing no regret for their forefather JRJ signing up to the 13A under duress.
