ධර්මසිරි සෙනෙවිරත්න
සිංහල බෞධ්ධයා විසින් වසර තුන්දාහකට ආසන්න හෝ ඊටත් වඩා කාලයක සිට හදා වඩා දියුණු කල අපේ රටේ සංස්කෘතිය ට පට හැ නි ලෙස ක්‍රියා නොකරන මෙන් රටේ පාලකයන්ගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටින්නට එවැන්නන් විවේචනය කරන්නට මේ රටේ උරුමක්කාරයන්ට අයිතියක් තිබිය යුතුය.
ඉන්දියාවෙන් හින්දුන් විසින් අතුගා දැමු බුදු සසුන ස්ථාපිත වුයේ හෙලදිවය. එය බුදුහිමියන්ගේද පරමාර්ථය විය. මිහිඳු හිමියන්ගේ ද පරමාර්ථය විය. පෙර බෞද්ධ රජදරුවෝ නියම බෞද්ධයන් වූ නිසා ඒ පරමාර්ථය ඉටුවිය . එහෙත් පසුගිය වසර 40 ක පමණ කාලයක සිට විශේෂයෙන් සාය බබාගේ කාලයේ සිට සිංහල බෞද්ධ පාලකයෝ හින්දු දෙවියන් පසුපස යමින් සියල්ල කණපිට හරවමින් ඇත.
තෙරුවන් සරණ හැර වෙන අන් සරණක් නැත කියමින් ගාථා කියන මොවුන් පන්සලෙන් පිටවී යන්නේ කෝවිල් වලට හා වෙනත් පල්ලි වලටය. .
සිංහල බෞද්ධ රට ආරක්ෂා කර ගත හැක්කේ එම සංස්කෘතිය ට පාදකවූ බුදුසසුන රකීමෙනි . හින්දු දෙවියෝ එය රකින්නේ නැත.ඒ දෙවියෝ රකින්නේ තම බැතිමත් හින්දුන්ය. බෞධ්ධයා රැකෙන්නේ ධර්මානු කුල දිවි පැවැත්ම මගිනි එයට උදවු කරන තිස්තුන් කෝටියක් දෙ වී වරු අතය් බෞද්ධයෝ විශ්වාස කරති මේ ප්‍රමාණය ඕනෑවටත් වැඩිය . සාෂනා රක්ෂක දෙවිවරු ත් සසුන රැකීමට උදව් කරනු ඇත .
එහෙත් මුලිකව කටයුතු කල යුත්තේ පාලකයන්ය. සමයක් දෘෂ්ටික දෙවිවරු සිටියදී මිත්‍යා දෘෂ්ටික දෙවිවරු පසු පස යන්නේනම් එවැනි පාලකයන්ට භික්ෂුන් විසින් අවවාද දිය යුතුවේ . බික්ෂු තම කාර්ය භාරය මග හරින්නේනම් ගිහියන් හෝ එය කල යුතුය. එය අපේ පරම අයිතියය් සනාතන අයිතියය් එය අපට අයිති නැත්නම් අපේ චන්දයද ඔවුන්ට අයිති නැත.
ම හජන මු ද ලින්ම දෙවියන් පුදන්නට ලෝකේ වටේ යන්නට පාලකයන්ට ඇති අයිතිය අපි ප්‍රශ්න කරමු . නිවන් අවභොද කර ගන්නට හින්දු දෙවියන්ගෙන් නොහැකිය එයහැර වෙනත් පරමාර්ථයක් බෞද්ධ පාලකයාට තිබිය නොහැක බලය වර්ධනය කර ගැනීමට ජයග්‍රහණය තහවුරු කර ගැනීමට අපේ තිස්තුන් කෝටියක් දෙවියෝ ප්රමා නව ත්ය . කල අකුසල් ඇත්නම් වැඩිවැඩියෙන් කුසල් කර අකුසල් යටපත් කල හැක ෂණිකව පව් සමා කරන්නට නම් හෝ සෝදා දමන්නට නම් නොහැකිය. පෙර රජ දරුවන් මෙන් හොඳ බෞද්ධයින් වුවහොත් බයවීමට කාරී නැත. ඔවුන්ට හතරවරම් දෙවියෝ පිරිත් පැ න් ඉසිනු ඇත. .
බලවතුන් තව තවත් නොමග යන්නට පෙර හොඳ මිනිසුන් විහිළුවට ලක්වෙන්නට පෙර ජන මාද්‍ය මේ විවේචන ඉදිරිපත් කලයුතුය. මේවා අගතිගාමී විවේචන නොවේ බෞද්ධ රට ආරක්ෂා කර ගැනීම පිණිස අප්‍රමාදව කලයුතු විවේචන වේ අප වැනි බෞද්ධයන් මෙය නොකරන්නේ නම් හින්දු දෙවිවරු මෙය කරය් ද. ඒ දෙවියන් කරන්නේ තම බැතිමතුන් හා ඔවුන්ගේ සංස්කෘතිය රකීමය් . එය ඒ දෙවියෝ හරියටම කර ඇත,. එහි ප්‍රතිඵල විසින් ඉන්දියාවෙන් බුදුදහම අතුගෑවී ඇත.

අප රජ තුමාට සර්ව ආගමික පිස්සුවක් ඔලුවට ගසා ඇත. බුධ්ධාගමේ අගය නොදත් මෙතුමා බුධ්ධාගමටත් රටටත් ජාතියටත් අපකීර්තියක් ගෙනදෙනු මිසක සිංහලයාට අවංක සේවයක් කිසිදා නොකරනු නියතයි. මොහු අප රවටා ගත්තේය. අපි කැවුම් කන යෝධයින් බවට පත්වී හමාරයි.

මේවා මතක් වන විට මගේ ඇසට කඳුලු එයි.
ඉතා කුඩා දරුවකු වූ මම වටුකුරුල්ලා ගේ ජාතක කතාව ඉගනගෙන ශක්තිමත් යෝධයකු මෙන් සත්‍යයේ බලය විශ්වාස කලෙමි. එදා සිට අද දක්වා හැකි තරම් දුරට සත්‍යයම කීමට මහත් උත්සාහයක යෙදුනෙමි.
ඉතා කුඩා දරුවකු වූ මම පන්සලේ දේවාලයේ කපුවා ගේ ආශීර්වාදය පරශ්න කළෙමි. දේවාලයට ගිය විට ආකසට්ටාච බුම්මට්ටා…..එත්තාවචාච.. ගාථා පමනක්ම කීවෙමි.
අපේ රජතුමා කරන මේ නින්දාව කෙ සේ ඉවසා සිටිම්ද ?

MR is an intelligent man. The only way we can survive with 1.3 billion high caste and some of them on our soil is to go for help from their gods. I have not come across any Indian in the world who support Malays, Fijians, Zulus, Sinhalese etc.

We Buddhoist do not use the word “it” for Buddha. We say “Naththi may saranam angnam” meaning තෙරුවන් සරණ හැර වෙන අන් සරණක් නැත . You have to learn Buddhism first before criticising Dharmasiri otherwise you too become Indian Myna.

For the Buddhist there is no other refuge other than the Three Jewels – Buddha, Dhamma and Sanagha. Todays politicians are so fickle in their conduct and behaviour they can even lick crap if they can stay in power. This is what Rajapakse is upto. A true Buddhist can respect others views and beliefs without compromising one’s own. Since coming to power Mahinda Rajapakse has kowtowed and sought help from all and sundry.
Would a Hindu seek blessings from the Buddha? Would a Muslim seek blessings from the Buddha? Would a Christian / Catholic seek blessings from the Buddha? It is the so called Buddhists who kneel in front of all and sundry. Shame on them and their parents who brought them up to be what they are today.

මිනිසුන් නොමග යැවීම(මෝහය වැඩිකිරීම) මහා පව්කාර වැඩකි. මහජනයාගේ ලෝභ , ද්වේශ, මෝහ වැඩිකරන ක්‍රියා එක් තැනැත්තෙකුගේ මනස නොමග යැවීම මෙන් දහස් ගුනයකින් පව් වැඩි වෙයි. ඉන්ටනෙට් ඊටත් වඩා දරුණු වන්නේ ඒ නිසයි. තමන් හරියටම නොදැන, වැරදි නොකරන අයට මඩ ගැසී මෙන් ඉන්ටනෙට් පාලකයෝ නොදැනුවත්කම නිසා දරුණු පව් කර ගනිති. නොදැනුවත්කම නිසා පව් කර ගැනීමෙන් පවේ බලය වැඩිවීමක් මිස අදුවීමක් නොවන බව බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේ ප්‍රකාශ කළ සේක.

Worse thing that appeared for less than 5 years is non Buddhists trying to teach the Buddhists. Some muslims even quote the suttas and misinterpret Dhamma. All during this president’s time. It is not his fault alone but he should attend to it.

If I am not wrong the young king rajasinghe, after killing his father went to monks and asked how to reverse his bad kamma. When they said it cannot be done , he started killing the sangha.
I believe a similar thing is happening now at a much lower scale. our Sangha must come forward without fear and try to save the rulers from destroying themselves and the country.

Buddhism is not about going to temples for blessings. Unlike other religions, there is unseen power to give you marks. Buddhism is in your heart. you know what is right and wrong as a good Buddhist.
A good Buddhist WILL NEVER GRAB POWER for 3rd term
For people like Dhramasiri , I think, his faith is unshakable. But the common commentator, they faith to the President is unshakable.

Yes, I do have a deadly defect … I write too much sense! I should be jumping up and down like our resident war-games expert Lorenzo yelling “The Emperor is Corrupt” and presenting copious LISTS of INSIGNIFICANT molehill issues that he desperately wants to blow up into veritable mountains, in his Regime-Change war-game strategy!
Corruption in Sri Lanka was NOT INVENTED by MR; he inherited a society and a political system that was oiled by corruption. In every government Sri Lanka had, there was corruption, with Ministerial portfolios as licenses to grow rich at the expense of the public. That was so during Ranil’s, Premadasa’s, CBK’s, JR’s, and even Sirimavo’s governments.
However, while there was corruption in those governments, there was ALSO LITTLE ECONOMIC PROGRESS, in the country, and NO PROGRESS on preserving the territorial integrity of the nation and security for the people to live safely. These governments tried to be “good Buddhists” abandoning their PRIME DUTY to protect and preserve the lives of the people. Also, the SIZE of the ECONOMY stagnated, the economic pie was not getting bigger to serve the rapidly increasing educated population with increasing aspirations and expectations. There was NO VISION for defending nation or for growing the pie.
ALL THAT changed dramatically with the rise of the current UPFA government.
The war to eradicate separatist terror was fought with the will and determination required to win it, and the economic war to drag our Motherland into the Modern Age was, was injected with a new Vision. Judicious Economic and Investment Risks required to give our people the tools to help themselves, were taken. This involved expanding the banking system to make investment money available to businesses, and borrowing the necessary investment funds to create the necessary capital intensive infrastructure, and establishing alliances with other nations that are willing to invest in Sri Lanka without interfering in and destabilizing the recovering post war society.
All of this expanded involvement in the economy by the GOSL meant that large sums of borrowed money, a thousand fold greater than deployed hitherto by previous governments, was being spent visibly for massive infrastructure undertakings, making that a target of the jealous anti-government forces. Some money was certainly leaking out through corruption, but no more as a percentage than in previous governments; but the amounts are large because the budget is very large, and it is a source of envy by those out of power.
These insanely jealous groups, out of power, now given an object lesson of how the country can be developed rapidly, without access to the government till, and steamrolled into impotence by the SUCCESS that is being wrought before their very eyes, searched for ways and means of getting back on the gravy train.
They saw how regimes were changed in the Arab Spring by propaganda alone, they saw the friction developing with the Regime-Changing Western Powers as a result of the Sri Lanka – China Alliance, they see as a useful tool the Tamil Diaspora with their fabricated War Crimes allegations. They then decided to ADOPT the same strategy for REGIME CHANGE change, and to ally themselves with Sri Lanka’s foreign enemies for that purpose. It is not without reason that the puppets, without any intrinsic merit of their own, received invitations to MIT and Harvard and elsewhere for onsite coaching on Regime Change strategy, and were pandered to by the Regime Change artistes as they had pandered to Ahmed Chalabi of Iraq!
Ergo, we have a massive wave of foreign-funded propagandists online, flooding the social media, Facebook, Twitter, web blogs, text messaging, newspapers, all funded, aided and abetted by the Regime Change artists who brought down the governments of Libya, Egypt, Morocco, Sudan, Ukraine, engineered a rebellion in Syria, and are pursuing the strategies in Russia and China as well.
Propagation of Human Rights and Democrazy is their PRETEXT, but preservation of Western Hegemony at all costs, whatever the cost in lives and human destruction they sow, is the OBJECTIVE with local people and anti-national forces greedy for pomp and power in their countries, soon to be destroyed, as their puppets and weapon choice to do their bidding.
And so it is that we find ourselves today in Sri Lanka, poised on the threshold of foreign inspired Electoral Coup-de-Etat in collusion with local collaborators to OVERTURN the PATRIOTIC NATIONAL GOVERNMENT of the country that stands in their way.
The projected path to their goal is through winning a Presidential Election and using the Executive Power of the Presidency to Gut the National Constitution ILLEGALLY, to Change the Leadership of the Parliament ILLEGALLY, to Enact a de-facto partition of the Nation to the defeated separatists, and to SERVE their FOREIGN PAYMASTERS by ENSLAVING our Sovereign Motherland to a foreign yoke.
