Sumanthiran MP, TELO Leader Selvam Adaikalanathan MP and TELO chairman Srikantha today evening in Colombo. The discussions held in Colombo at the Democratic People’s Front Headquarters.

Describing the discussions as urgent”, Ganesan told media that, TNA and TPA discussed forthcoming elections in details. We decided to continue our discussions further in the common interests of both parties and  the people we represent. TNA earlier had stated that it may contest outside north and eastern provinces especially in the districts of Colombo and Gampaha in the western province in the August 17th parliamentary elections.

Asked to describe further on the talks, Ganesan said that DPF and TNA are two parties work in understanding by politically supporting each other for a long time in the past. We are happy that TNA has very successfully completed the seat sharing in the north and eastern provinces within the alliance. Today’s discussion between our two parties centered on the electoral process in the territory outside north-east provinces particularly in the Colombo and Gampaha districts. I am not in a position to divulge any more on the discussions. I can only say that it is based on the message to us from ITAK leader Mavai Senathirajah. Our discussions will continue.
