   මහින්ද එනවාට තවමත් විරුද්ධ මගේ අයැදුමත් මෙයමයි. ඊට හේතුව මහින්ද එනවානම් ඔබතුමා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ සිටිය යුතුම නිසයි. පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ පට්ටපල් බොරු සම්ප්‍රදාය නවත්වා යහමගට ගේමට ඔබතුමා අවශ්‍යමයි.

   Dear Dharmasiri,

   Thank you for telling the bitter truth, which many will not be able to write in such a short letter.

   Yes we need Prof. Nalin to lead the policy of reviving Mother Lanka. Looks like MR has realised that.

   This election will determine the future of Sri Lanka and it is quite a serious issue.

   Just stating facts. I don’t mean any disrespect to anyone.

   UPFA nominations are decided by My3 and NO ONE else.

   My3 is not happy to accomodate the good prof. because the last time the good prof. contested, he only received less than 5,000 votes. Even for the national list, you need people who can muster votes islandwide.

   SL needs the good prof. He can do his service OUTSIDE the THIEVES’ DEN (the parliament). As of today it is better for academics to avoid that DEN.

   So you are against MR getting into parliament????

   Why???

   IF Run-nil, Hack-him, Charm-pakayo, 69 Arjuna, Koti Sambandan, etc. can creep into parliament, why not MR who saved SL?

   MR has MORE right to be in parliament than ANYONE else.

   Prof Nalin is a rare gem in Sri Lanka. We definitely need him in the parliament to represent the Sinhala Buddhists and their interests. Problem in Sri Lanka is that there is only a very few to represent the genuine Sinhala Buddhists interests in Sri Lanka.

   I will just site an incident from the yesteryear to show the how helpless the Sinhala Buddhists are in Sri Lanka.

   In the eighties when JR Jayawardene wanted to call in an All Party Conference to find a solution to the Tamil Racist insurrection at the time, he found that there was no body to represent the Sinhala Buddhists. In the end he called Albert Edirisinghe – Chairman of the World Fellowship of Buddhists and asked him to bring two other persons and come to the All Party Conference to represent the Sinhala Buddhists.

   Albert Edirisinghe had to think quickly and called in Eric Amarasinghe the Vice President of the YMBA at the time and Gamini Iriyagolle the then president of the Buddhist Theosophical Society of Sri Lanka. He was in such a hurry that Gamini Iriyagolle had to be called in while he was on his way to courts in Avissawella. This shows that Sinhala Buddhists have always been an after thought in Sri Lankan politics.

   This clearly shows the parlous situation of the Sinhala Buddhist in Sri Lanka even today. This is why we need a gem like Prof Nalin de Silva in the Sri Lanka Parliament.

   Writer I fully agree with you on your comment about our respected Professor Nalin. If we have people in his caliber then our country have a bright future. Yes Mahinda needs such intellectuals to take my land forward not people who hasn’t any good education or back ground. We need to win this election and I know Our great leader will do a good job this time if he will be elected as the next Prime Minister same like Putin in Russia. We have to work hard and counter attack UNP bogus slogans in every district and city. We have to show the voter the danger we Sinhalese and the Buddhist religion will face if this UNP traitors comes to power. Yankee traitors must be defeated at all cost.

   ධර්මසිරි සෙනෙවිරත්න මහතාට ස්තුතියි. මීට පෙර පළවූ නලින්ගේ ලිපි හරහා මෙම ඉල්ලීම මමද මෑතකදී කලෙමි. ආචාර්ය නලින් මහතාණෙනි, මෙතෙක් කල් ඔබ ලිපිවලින් ක්‍රියාවට නැංවීමට කාලය හා අවස්ථාව පැමිණ ඇත.තවදුරටත් එළියේ සිටන් කෑගසා පලක් නැත. මහින්දට මෞෂධ වීමටත් කළුසුද්දන් අභිමුව යෝධයෙකු වීමටත් ඔබ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට යායුතුය. ඔබතුමාගේ ප්‍රධානම ප්‍රතිපත්තිය අපහැමට පැහැදිලිය. ඔබේ අනෙක් ප්‍රතිපත්තීන් මදක් වෙනස් කර හෝ ඔබ මෙම කාර්යය බාර ගත යුතුය. සැබෑ වෙනසක් පාර්ලිමේන්තුව තුල ගිගුම් දෙනුඇත. මේ අවසාන අවස්ථාවේ ඔබත් මහින්දත් හැර ශක්තිය හා අවබෝධය ඇති වෙන කිසිවෙකු නැත.
