මෛත්‍රිපාල සිරිසේන ජනාධිපතිවරයා එදා, 2010 ජනාධිපතිවරණ සමයෙදි මේ කරන කතාව ඉවසීමෙන් අහන්න. මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ හිටපු ජනාධිපතිවරයා විවිධ කුමන්ත්‍රණ සහ බාධක මැද යුද්ධය ජයගත් ආකාරය ඔහු පැහැදිලි කරනව.
අධිරාජ්‍යවාදී බලවේග, එක්සත් ජාතීන්, රාජ්‍ය නොවන සංවිධාන සහ ඇතැම් මාධ්‍ය ආයතන වගේම කුහක විපක්ෂය මහින්දට එදිරිව ක්‍රියාත්මක වූ බවත් මහින්ද ඒවාට සාර්ථකව මුහුණ දුන් බවත් ඔහු පෙන්වා දෙනව. යුද්ධයෙන් පසුව අවුරුදු 100කට හරියන විශාල සංවර්ධන වැඩපිළිවෙලක් මහින්ද පටන් ගත්ත කියල කියන මෛත්‍රි, මහින්ද මේ මාතෘ භූමියේ පමණක් නෙවෙයි කළාපයේම ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨ නායකයෙක් බව සහතික කරනව. ඒ අතර යුද්ධය පැරදිලා ඊළම දෙන්න උනානං මහින්දට වෙන දේ ගැනත් මෛත්‍රී කියනව.
ඓහෙමනං පස්සෙ මෛත්‍රී, මහින්දට විරුද්ධ වෙන්නෙ ඇයි? තර්කානුකූලව ගත්තොත්, එය ප්‍රතිපත්තිමය ප්‍රශ්නයක් නං ඒ මහින්දගෙ හැසිරීම ගැන වෙන්න ඕන, එතකොට අවුරුදු 100 කට ගැලපෙන අර සංවර්ධන වැඩපිළිවෙලට විරුද්ධ වෙන්නෙ ඇයි?මෛත්‍රි දැන් ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙන විදිහ අනුව පේනව ඔහුට පස්සෙ ඇතිවෙලා තියෙන්නේ ඔය කියන ජයග්‍රාහී රටේ ගමන් මගට විරුද්ධ වීමේ උවමනාවක්. එය කුමන්ත්‍රණයක ප්‍රතිඵලයක් බව ඔප්පු වෙන්නෙ චන්ද්‍රිකා සහ රනිල් ඔහුට සම්බන්ධ වෙන විදිහ නිසා. කොටින්ම මහින්ද සහ අනිත් රාජපක්ෂලා වැරදිනං ඔවුන් අයින් කරල තමන්ගෙම හෘදසාක්ෂිය පිළිගන්න අර වැඩපිළිවෙලම ඉදිරියට ගෙනියන්න ඕන. ඒත් දැන් විපක්ෂය හොදයි, රාජ්‍ය නොවන සංවිධාන හොදයි, එක්සත් ජාතීන් හොදයි, අධිරාජ්‍යවාදීන් හොදයි… රාජපක්ෂලා විතරක් අතුගා දැමිය යුතුයි. එතකොට මෙතන කුමන්ත්‍රණයක් නැද්ද?

This video should have been posted during the last two election times. Why waited so long to post it?
I don’t know if Mr. Sirisena even understood the meaning of the poem he mentioned at the end of his speech?

We heard this during election time but the stupid Sinhalese believed Sira’s bogus promises more than anything else. International community and the Indians played their plan well to oust Rajapaksa’s. Their HORA slogan was very effective because every one in the Opposition started saying in one voice “HORA,HORA” and pointed the finger towards Rajapaksa family so the stupid people believed these traitors more than the man who saved us from death and destruction.
Now we cannot go back or bring Mahinda back at this moment so we have to play cool and see how they deliver what they promised. We know that we have a Govt with two different views although they are together. Both sides were abusing and fighting each other and when the time goes by we can see some more fire works between this new couple S.L.F.P. and UNP. They talk big but the result is Zero. Already prices have gone up. People are facing so many hardships already. Over 100 Ministers and Ministries, Sira/Wicky combination already has gone around the world many a times with their kith and kin blaming Mahinda for doing the same. So we see the same old story nothing new except super powers poking their fingers and meddling in our affairs more than before. If we go like this we may not have a country to call home so just be awake my dear Sinhala people and try to understand the TRUTH.

Actually the MR camp DID play it even in govt. TV channels. But Maru Sira camp got a court order or an order from election commissioner to STOP it.
But they carried this HEAVILY in FACEBOOK and emails. Maru Sira camp retaliated with the 2010 election campaign speech in Vavuniya by MR where he shouts at Singhala people in the rally for hooting when he speaks in Tamil. He says “demalath ahanawa inna ona”. But people kept hooting.

People please wake up. Don’t be blinded by attachment to politicians. Up to 2010 I too was on his side defending him for everything. It all went wrong since 2010. We have to trust someone. Otherwise as Lorenzo says “Military Takeover”. But we are not that economically independent to sustain that for more than 6 months. MR got help form Gadafi, Muslim block which too came with a price.
I believe we should use current global situation wisely. USA in trouble. Russia ascending. China as usual means business. We MUST let all of them compete, not blindly attach to one block.

Leader of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Anura Kumara Dissanayake told Colombo Telegraph that if President Maithripala Sirisena is still serious about pledges made to the people on January 8th on good governance, rule of law, doing away with nepotism and favoritism, he has to make a clear statement regarding his son Daham‘s presence with the Sri Lankan delegation at the sessions of the UN General Assembly in New York.
Specifically, he said that the President has to explain why he took his son to New York and in what capacity. Dissanayake referring to the fact that Daham had stated that he was representing his mother at the UNGA and that he was a ‘youth representative’, said that in the event that President Sirisena cannot defend these statements, then both father and son as well as the Foreign Ministry have to tender an unqualified apology to the people of Sri Lanka.

The hopper incident is adequate to judge the character of Sirisena. The current election commissioner too is a paid servant of the west, so don’t expect any free and fair elections until he leaves office. Even if SLFP won the majority in the parliamentary elections, Sirisena will still ask Ranil to form the government and help him to get some SLFP MPs.
If there is any democracy, the opposition should be the Mahinda faction. Is Sirisena allowing that?
My heart go out to Mahinda, Wimal, Gammanpila and the true Sri Lankan heroes in the parliament. When Mahinda was our dear President, he fought a very difficult battle (not only LTTE terrorism, but the economic terrorism of the West, India, Japan and Singapore). Our stupid people did not realise the value of this gem of a man.
Very soon Jayalalitha will make decisions in our parliament.
