JVP, Anura Kumara and their vagabond politics.

They were directly behind the vicious slanders relating to misappropriation of government funds that were spread against the Rajapaksa Family to bring down the regime of Mahinda Rajapaksa. Aptly funded by NGOs they were in a position to mislead particularly the rural youth as in the past who are the most vulnerable in the politics of any country. This fact is more than confirmed by the post election results. Now their political future depends on proving some of these slanders by bringing them to justice. That is why they are in such a haste to bring some of them behind bars. The legal institutions and the solicitor general are quite often criticized for their alleged delays. But the reality is that these slanders are baseless as they are weaved on heresy, eavesdropping and disconnected data supplied by their stooges who work in relevant institutions. They are very good at number crunching as no body knows the real truth behind them unless you do a very careful study from scratch as so many people and institutions are involved in government transactions which are done in accordance with Administrativ and Financial regulations. Hence, such allegations have to be carefully investigated with patience. Because in framing charges, the solicitor general is answerable to defense lawyers and judges. This drama on their part is to avoid the wrath of people for deceiving them and hoodwink the public further.
Despite the revelation of true state of affairs by both Wijedasa Rajapaksa and Thilak Marapana regarding the Avanguard incident, Anura Kumara is still insistent on taking the case to courts as their ulterior motive is to somehow or other involve Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and drag him to courts. Patalee Champika Ranawaka and Rajitaha Senarathna two of the most vicious persons in Sri Lankan politics are directly behind them in spreading these diabolical slanders and in attempting to bring Rajapaksa family behind bars .Ironically they do not utter a word about the fraudulent Central Bank Bond issue involving billions of rupees and Arjun Mahendran still being the governor of the Central Bank who is directly connected in this regard. Isn’t this downright hypocrisy on their part.
Now let us examine their other role. They pose off and talk as if they are real saviours of the country. Unfortunately the younger generation is not aware of their true colours. We who have seen their 1971 and 1988 insurrections know the amount of damage done by them to this country which is second only to the devastation done by Prabhakaran. On both occasions they misled the rural Sinhala Buddhist youth of this country and led about 70,000 of them to their gallows and most of them were subjected to tortures beyond human imagination. Batalanda is one such torture chamber for which the present Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe was found guilty and recommended for the removal of his civil rights. Ironically Anura Kumara is one of his ardent supporters and relies on his good governance. Actually it was Mahinda Rajapaksa who came forward to prevent these massacres by taking this case to the notice of International Human Rights Organizations. While they were involved in these activities they robbed the public of their gold jewelry. They robbed the banks, burned the transforms and property making colossal damages to the country. As a living example of their atrocities there is still about 40 kilograms of gold jewelry in the vaults of the Central Bank which were robbed from the innocent civilians of the country. While I was in the Banking Department of the Central Bank I was directly involved in evaluating their value to auction them and establish a fund for their rehabilitation. But due to certain legal implications this was never done and the jewelry is still there.
On the other hand they never utter a war about the tremendous and innumerable amount of money and resources saved to the country by Mahinda Rajapaksa in ending the war except his meager expenditure on constructions which ultimately belongs to the government. This is not without reasons because they definitely know that their biggest enemy is Mahinda Rajapaksa. If he comes into power again it is surely the end of the road for them.

Anura Kumara Dissanayaka is one of the best orators in the parliament. His compelling voice and serious tone always make up for lack of content. In my humble opinion, this man is the worst parliamentarian we have seen for a long time. He is a devious and a despicable man without conscience, and devoid of any redeeming features.
At last Sri Lankans are realizing how he is piling one lie after another to discredit Mahinda and Gotabaya. He is a man without sense of history, so he can go on doing this day after day. Why he is doing this, we would never know.
When he impart lies, half truths and innuendos, he does with such serious and a studious gusto, whose who have not checked his previous speeches will believe he is telling the truth. Due to his conduct JVP has lost much support, and perhaps will end up in scrap heap of history in the next election.
Have you ever seen him criticizing Ranil? He will not speak about billions of rupees lost in Central Bank Bond robbery. But he will mouth incessantly about the little bunker build for national emergency meeting by previous government. For Anura Kumara, Prabakaran’s luxurious bunker complex in not a subject to discuss, but bunker build for national emergencies is matter of grave concern. What a dog!
Lets hope people will soon realize what a mongrel this dog is.

Unfortunately the current JVP leader Anura Kumara is like Ranil’s pet Pit bull. Instead of focussing on the real issues for the country he keeps on attacking President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his family even though they did no harm to either JVP or Anura Kumara. He wastes a lot of the Parliament time with vitriolic attacks on MR. Whenever Ranil wants someone attacked Anura starts barking.

The Rural Youth are the most vulnerable sector in Sri Lanka. Two insurgencies (due to GoSL of those times never holding talks with the JVP) saw nearly 80,000 rural folk dead. This in a Buddhist country is totally unacceptable. This shows the utter neglect of the needs of the rural folk of Sri Lanka. The rural folk form the bedrock of Lanka as they produce the food and labor. All the cities depend upon the labors of the rural folk and in turn the rural people depend on the City Folk to lead the country in a just and fair manner. It is a symbiotic relationship that needs URGENT ATTENTION FROM THE GoSL. Neglect it and the country keeps getting into internal trouble as foreigners will keep on interfering.
The rural youth, as far as I know, wish to learn English and learn Sc&Tech. Not all will succeed. Honest debate and dialogue have to be held in this regard with the rural leaders. Job Creation in all spheres must receive top priority. FREE birth control material should be made available to adults.
In the current situation, I do not think that Ranil is the right person to attend to the needs of the rural folk. He has no aptitude for the rural side of life nor does he empathise with them. When fear comes in, killing of the rural folk starts and that is totally unacceptable. Leaders (with the exception of MR and the MR govt) owe an apology to the rural folk.

Lorenzo, Looks like Shenali W is not in good health. What I heard is that she has a heart problem! Now to the Island Article about Rohana Wijieera. Very many things did not happen the way his wife fabricate the story to get public sympathy. Under the instructions of JRJ General Wanasinghe got all the Leading JVPers to a room at the police headquarters. And their they fought with each other and his deputy had hidden a pistol in a bag of documents. He shot him. This was the signal to get rid of him and the army took him to the Kanatha Crematorium and burned him while he was unconscious. In my opinion, a Spike should have put from his back Passage (Ulathanawa) for the good things that he did in Matara, Galle and Thangalle. He was a common law crook and thief. Somavanse also shared the gold loot he stole from houses. His followers were told to break in to houses and kill the occupants and stealwhat ever they had. When you read the Article you can read that Pramadase did not come to a meeting Rohana Wijiweera arranged. Not because Pramadase took direct commands from Prabhakeran and could not go out side the command structure. Ranjan Wijiyaratna was blown up because he ordered the military go in to the jungle and finish off JVP. The Captain mentioned in the article spearheaded attack. Within months JVP was in Australia, Canada, and UK. And not in SL.
