   When the farmers got the fertilizer money from the government, drug dealers can approach them and solve their burden by taking them to colorful dream world by introducing them to drugs…

   Two problems can be solved with one shot. Farmers problem is solved with govt money and Drug dealers problem solved with farmer’s money…

   We will be almost closer to “Kethumathie” land.

   In addition, School uniform money will end up with Drug dealers pockets. School children will get access to colorful dream land in their torn clothing while Drug Dealers get their share.

   We will be self sufficient soon.

   The other despicable trick of 6% of budget to education is a nasty one. It includes revaluation of Mahinda era school buildings and labs too. When the revuluations are taken out, the real allocation is smaller in percentage than in some previous years.

   Budget is done in cash terms and should only include the cash allocation. The Finance Minister despite being a qualified accountant, knows nothing about budgeting and accounting.

   Hopefully this smoke and mirrors trick will fool the dumb university dons and others who demanded 6% of budget is allocated to education. Yahapalanaya is all about changing the goal post.

   This is the first step towards destroying paddy cultivtion in Sri Lanka.Our self sufficiency in rice production is a thorn in the flesh of those who wants to keep us under their thumbs.
   If the claims of those who abolished the supply of fertilizer are real they should have first arranged for an alternative source of fertilizer instead of just handing money.
   Had this hefty amount of money spent on chemical fertilizer year after year been spent wisely,spending just one years money on garbage recycling the whole fertilizer requirement of the country could have been met while resolving the garbage problem at the same time.
