THIS IS A FORMIDABLE CHALLENGE TO RANIL AND SIRISENA, WHO ARE GOVERNING BY THREATS AND INTIMIDATION. I THOUGHT WRONG ABOUT MAHINDA, BECAUSE HE WAS VACILLATING. THANKFULLY, AND FORTUNATELY FOR THE SINHALESE, AND PEOPLE OF SRI LANKA. HE HAS A VERY, VERY STRONG GROUND FORCE, WITH DINESH, VASU, DALLAS, WIMAL ETC. THEY WILL BE THE NEXT TSUNAMI. RANIL AND SIRISENA WILL NOT KNOW WHAT HIT THEM.
I FORSEE, THAT RANILS AND SIRISENAS DAYS ARE NUMBERED. POSSIBLY, THEY ARE HEARING THE VOICE OF DOOM. THEY PICKED UP A LOT OF COURAGE, BY INTIMIDATIONS AND THREATS, WHICH WAS THEIR STRATAGY FOR GOOD GOVERNANCE. TWO RAA-KADEY CHANDIYAS WILL HUMPTEY DUMPTEY SOON.
WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT THIS DUO, ARE VERY REVENGEFUL
JUSTICE SARATH SILVA PROMISED THAT HE WOULD ENSURE THAT BOTH OF THEM FACE LITIGATION FOR DAMAGES. I FERVANTLY BELIEVE THAT HE WOULD GET THAT CHANCE.

This is just a meeting and people talk, people listen.
I have no hope until a leader truly tell the world how Sinhalese have been treated all these years under all the Presidents and how it should have been done.
These people are all working for their grievances, not the Sinhalayas.
If he still cannot set up a new party than trying to grab SLFP leadership which he himself giveaway ( I don’t really know what made him to do so), I have my reservations.

At last, Mahinda defied Sirisena’s dictates and made a bold presence. With 46 MPs participating, that is 26% of the vote (out of 174 seats; national list and district bonus seats are excluded). Assuming CWC has at least 3% of the UPFA vote in August 2015, that leaves only 13% for the mainstream SLFP. Mahinda camp is twice larger. This is despite increasing MPs’ salaries by a staggering 200,000 rupees a month and a 10 million rupee additional car permit hurriedly granted to stop the erosion.
Vimukthi rest in peace. He cannot be the next president and the Bandaranaike hold on the SLFP is over. Fearing the collapse, other SLFP MPs will also make overtures towards Mahinda. They will have more bargaining power within the UNP-SLFP government and will not automatically support constitutional amendments.
For the record, this support is without additional taxes kicking in, without unpopular war crimes investigations, unpopular constitution amendments and ETCA. Once any of these are implemented, it will be game over for the UNP regime. It is the undemocratic 19A that is holding this government, which has no legitimacy on ground. 19A does not allow dissolution of parliament for 4 years but necessity will dictate otherwise.
Will SLFP MPs completely destroy the party formed by SWRD Bandaranaike by serving UNP masters? Chandrika left the SLFP in 1977 and re-joined only in 1991. She was simply not there for 14 out of 17 disdain years of UNP state terror against the SLFP. Although she made a bold appearance since 1991 to 1994, she cannot be trusted to stand by the party. Remaining SLFPers must make a decision to bring back Mahinda as party leader by changing the SLFP constitution. Otherwise they will not remain in parliament to enjoy the massive increase in MPs salary and perks.
Joint Opposition must be careful now. As its political fortunes grow, vile elements will try to infiltrate it. It should not die down like the Nugegoda Movement. People came to listen to Weerawansa, Udaya, Dinesh and Mahinda and not Collure, Somawansa, Lokuge, Basil, Vasudeva or Vitharana. Their participation is needed but only to the extent of countering infringement of workers’ rights and claim the fallout without letting the JVP grab it. They represent lifeless parties and should not be allowed to dictate the policy of the Joint Opposition. At an election, people who agree with them on political solutions and India will vote for the UNP and SLFP Chandrika faction.
For it to succeed, Joint Opposition’s policy must be based on Weerawansa’s speech – the best by any Sri Lankan politician. Otherwise it will fizzle out like the Nugegoda Movement which in the end helped Sirisena.

I don’t know Vasu is a part of “fortune of the SINHALESE”. We have to wait for good news. That is a brand new set of policies. Policies to put the country in right path. Radical approach of WW ( and more) shall be followed. Must give birth to Nationalism again , not to Nugegoda Man, this man that man.
There is no need for seeking support of the minorities.

DILROOK !!! YES, MAHINDA DEFIED SIRISENAS DICTATES. ADMIRABLE. SIRISENA APPEARS TO DISPLAY HIS TRAITS AS A VILLAGE THUG, WITH THREATS AND INTIMIDATION. THERE IS A LIMIT TO ONE’S TOLERANCE, IT CAN EXPLODE.
REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED TO HIS BROTHER WHO USED THE POWER OF YAHAPAALANAYA, TO BE ON TOP OF SOMEONE ELSES WIFE ?
THE MYTH THAT THE SLFP IS INDISPENSABLE HAS TO BE NEGATED, AND BE EQUATED TO UNWASHED UNDERWEAR. THERE IS AN OLD ADAGE, **OLD ORDER CHANGETH, YIELDING PLACE TO NEW ** THIS SHOULD BE MAHINDAS FRESH NEW, CONCEPT.

HE MET MAHINDA THERE, AND APPARENTLY WITH SOME INTIMIDATION HE GOT MAHINDA TO HAND OVER THE LEADERSHIP TO HIM, AND MAHINDA BEING IN A MENTAL STATE OF UNREST, AND IN A QUANDARY, MEEKLY GAVE THE TITLE TO SIRISENA ON A PLATTER. **MAHINDA, NEVER GAVE THE LEADERSHIP OUT OF HIS OWN ACCORD.** HE WAS THREATENED, PERIOD.
