Hepatitis-B vaccination camp concludes at press club

May 7: Over 30 media persons, took the first dose of Hepatitis-B vaccine last month, were administered the second dose of the vaccine at Guwahati Press Club on Saturday to complete the process. The vaccination camp was organized and sponsored by the city based Dispur Hospitals, which has started the mission last year and completed the vaccination process of nearly 300 journalists.

Dispur Hospitals private limited, under the leadership of Dr Jayanta Bardoloi, organized a special health camp and Hepatitis-B vaccination program for  the lady journalists and better-halves of male scribes at press club on the eve of International Women’s Day. The second dose of the vaccine was administered on 7 April, when few more media persons took the first dose of  Hepatitis-B vaccine.  Saturday’s vaccination program was focused on those beneficiaries only.
