President, Dictator or a villageThug ?

Sri Lanka until 2009, devastated by terrorism, a country that never saw real development, never saw a highway, and depended on potholed old net work of Macadamised roads  in poor condition, built by the colonial rulers to facilitate their tea, and rubber trade,  seems to have got since 8th January, 2015, what it deserves- a ruinous Yahapalanaya..

A country which since independence built two dams, constructed an irrigation canal and a  completed few other projects by way of development, a country which was proud of its ancient ruins witness to a glorious past, a country which was in the grip of a seemingly never ending  ruthless terrorism, was suddenly whisked away from that small time  development, sad plight in the claws of terrorism, to become a peaceful country, with an assured security with its heroic Armed Forces deployed around the country, and  dropped into the lap of  modernity, with a higher standard of living with all the fetishes of development, nevertheless, with the human weakness of wanting more,  never satisfied with what one has been give.

The Man Who Changed Sri Lanka.

All that unexpected development never hoped for by a people who were  living in the hellhole of terrorism without knowing what fate awaits them on the  dawn of the next day, was brought about by a single man who had one ambition and that was to end terrorism and bring peace and security to his country and his people and make Sri Lanka a developed country.

That great man was Mahinda Rajapakse.  A man like him had not been seen since Independence, and no one comparable to him  cannot still be seen in the horizon.

That man that gave all that to a nation which had surrendered to hopeless grief and tragedy, is today ridiculed, accused of bribing the terrorists, for fattening the pockets with gifts, commissions and bribes, and for allowing his friends and family to thrive on stolen riches.

The Critics of that Man who changed Sri Lanka

Strangely the accusations come from those who with their actions made the suffering of the people of Sri Lanka greater.

These critics are from JVP- that massacred unknown numbers to establish a Marxist regime, the UNP that killed and burnt on heaps of tyres young Sinhala youth to stop the establishment of a Marxist regime of the JVP. The UNP that established secret torture camp in Batalanda, and else where, and signed a CFA with the terrorist leader strengthening terrorism and allowing them to massacre more innocent persons, army officers, soldiers, and Ministers. There was also that wretched woman,  who offered the North of Sri Lanka to the terrorist leader to rule over it for ten years.

Tamils who do not want reconciliation but a separate Eelam

Since Independence there were many governments that faced the danger of division of the country and separation of communities. The Tamils had always been a community which wanted to be apart from the rest of the population. They- the  Tamils were then and now  against any reconciliation with the rest of the population. These Tamils in Sri Lanka-every one of them, are Indians in their hearts and in action. They have no love for Sri Lanka as their motherland, hence they want a separate territory carved out of it for themselves. They say they do not want reconciliation, but devolution, when they have everything, that everyone else has in Sri Lanka. The Tamils want a Tamil Provincial Council (Eelam)  under a Federal Constitution. The Yahapalanaya has made them the Parliamentary Opposition to the Government

JVP the Marxists who create trouble.

The JVP politicians  were a  group of political adventurists, who made terror and massacre a means to achieve their romanticised Marxist revolution. Even today JVP is a Political party trying to become popular by making popular national leaders like Mahinda Rajapakse unpopular. They cannot promote any political ideology to the people other than political hatred towards popular political  figures –Mahinda Rajapakse, his family, and supporters, hoping that they would be the recipients of the popularity and adulation of those  people who would be dissatisfied with Mahinda Rajapakse on the accusations they  make about  him and his family.

Of the several Prime Ministers, Governors, and Generals Sri Lanka had since the beginning of terrorism, no one  was able to solve the problem of terrorism , as a result of which  the people were subjected to endless suffering.

Mahinda Rajapakse who ended people’s suffering

Finally, it was Mahinda Rajpakse who saved the country and the people from the suffering they underwent for 30 long years. Now, everyone says that they give him credit for elimination of terrorism, but yet he is condemned without any proof relying on suppositions, probabilities, hearsay, rumours and vague gossip,  for bribery, corruption, money laundering  and what not.

There being no people- friendly media,  even the media supports the disastrous yahapalanaya rather than support  the one Political Leader-Mahinda Rajapakse  the one and only man Sri Lanka could rely upon  to make Sri Lanka remain an Independent sovereign state, and progress into  development and a brighter future.

The following extracts from the unpatriotic non people friendly) media reports show how the media carry out the role of political destabilisation to confuse the people about  unpopular unpatriotic politicians and  patriotic popular politicians.

Kishali Pinto Jayawardhana  22 March,2015 Sunday Times states :

First, let us go to the common positives. Both speakers emphasized home truths, pointing out that credit must be given for enabling dissent and criticism without fear of consequences. That said, this obvious fact need not be unduly repeated. This was precisely the reason why the Rajapaksa regime was rejected by an electorate tired of gross corruption, rampant communalism and delusions of grandeur. Measuring itself by the standard of Rajapaksa evils and patting itself on the back therein is self-delusionary. This is not why a new government was voted in.

The Island Editorial.

The former rulers are no angels and the general consensus is that they helped themselves to a great deal of public funds and lined their pockets with kickbacks unconscionably. Everything became a deal for them. Therefore, those who voted for Sirisena and the UNP thought the ill-gotten wealth of the Rajapaksas would be recovered, confiscated and utilised to ameliorate the economic woes of the country as well as the public. But, nothing of the sort has happened and cases are being filed against the grandees of the former regime for buying galvanized pipes of all things!

Accusations based on suppositions, probabilities, hearsay, rumours and vague gossip.

But these reports as  already mentioned are not based  on proved reliable information, but on suppositions, probabilities, hearsay, rumours and vague gossip, to accuse Rajapakses for bribery, corruption, money laundering  and what not.  It is a shame that the Sri Lanka media is so low as to condemn a popular, rare and a reliable political leader in order not to antagonise the all powerful Yahapalanaya government, which is ruining Sri Lanka, to pretend they are objective National news papers.

These well prepared  distortion of news and scathing rumours to make the ex President unpopular are the work of experienced foreign Agents  of CID, RAW,MI5, who have helped regime changes and  removal of progressive leaders of developing countries in Africa, Middle East,  South America etc.  They use Ranil Wickramasinghe, Chandrika Kumaratunga and Mangala Samaraweera as their tools, it is obvious from statements that they make from time to time.

Mahinda Rajapakse as the President did not call for early elections because he feared  the inability to payback the accumulated debts”, or because he feared facing the Geneva human rights Resolution. When he called for elections he was sure” to win. If he was sure” to win he also knew there were   accumulated debts” or unfavourable Geneva Resolution” and he would have known how to face those issues.  He  of opurse knew that there were accumulated debts which were taken for the development of the country.  China, Russia and Iran etc., were his dependable friends. He managed the Administration of the country well.

White Van Culture was not a Making of the former Government.

The white van culture, that Yahapalanaya uses to accuse exPresident Rajapakse and his government is another rumour that got stuck to the former government, but it was  never proved as initiated by any one of the Rajapakses. It is again a rumour, hear say  and considered as a  possibility, without any proof. Even today business men and others are kidnapped using  white vans.  How can then  the Mahinda Rajapakse and his government be accused for a white van culture ?

The Change to Yahapalanaya.

Today China , and Russia etc., are not with Yahapalanaya Government, and they will not help Sri Lanka in the  settlement of debts”.  America and the West will never help Sri Lanka solve its financial problems . They will only extract the maximum benefits for themselves. Sri Lanka is today in a very serious political and financial situation and it has no way out unless the country is taken back by Mahinda Rajapakse. It is only Mahinda Rajapakse and the Joint Opposition  which have the key to solve the problems of Sri Lanka, and take the country forward.

Maithripala Sirisena who is not capable of taking responsibilities of a President is being manipulated by USA and the West through their Agents Ranil Wickramasinghe, Chandrika Kumaratunga and Mangala Samaraweera.  The other stalwarts in Yahapalanaya like Rajitha Senaratne, S.B.Dissanayake, Sarath Amunugama, Mahinda Samarasinghe may not be direct agents of USA and the West but stand by Maithripala Sirisena through their greed for power, to hold ministerial positions, and evade accusations for bribery and corruption.

JVP may perhaps be working for the USA and the West as they expect to come to power one day with their help.

Maithripala Sirisena is not wise enough to Administer the country, therefore he will remain dependent on Ranil Wickramasinghe for his own survival. He does not speak like a President, but as a village thug who is sure he has his supporters to help him to avoid danger to his person. President Maithripala Sirisena’s actions and his speeches do not give him  credit, as the President of Sri Lanka.  He is a helpless puppet” , with power gone to his head, but yet unable to use it for his own benefit or  for that of the country.
Maithripala Sirisena like a mafia leader speaking  at the  first year anniversary celebration of Yahapalanaya stated that if he did not win the Presidential election of the 8 January,2015, Sri Lanka would have faced great danger with the Geneva Resolution and the accumulated debts. He said that he was able to bring back democracy, an Independent judiciary, media freedom, and avoided the electric chair for some. He asked the people what would they have gained if Mahinda Rajapakse won the Presidentital elections on the 8 January ?

What would have Sri Lanka got if Mahinda Rajapakse was elected President on the 8th January,2015 ?

But the ordinary people who have no personal ambitions but want better  living conditions and a low cost of living  know that Maithripala Sirisena and Ranil wickramsinghe and their Yahapalanaya have already ruined the country and they see no way out of the miserable condition into which the people and the  country has already been put to by an unconcerned  President and his government controlled by Ranil Wickramasinghe and his UNP cronies.

They also know that if Mahinda Rajapakse won the Presidential election on the 8 January,2015. Sri Lanka would have seen more development, the Kandy –Colombo Road  would have been completed.  The villages and provinces that needed development would have been  looked after providing them with , water, electricity, and  roads. The Nelum Kulunna” would have been completed.  Kandy Town would have been beautified and more, parks and areas for recreation would have been created.

If Mahinda Rajapakse was re-elected  he would have improved and reconstructed Buddhist temples. He would not have allowedrthe National Anthem sung in Tamil and may perhaps have even removed the Orange and Green stripes on the National Lion flag. The construction of the Mahasaya in Anuradhapura would have been completed. The security of the country would have been strengthened with perhaps more military camps, deployed in strategic areas in the country.

If Mahinda Rajapakse was elected President on the 8th January,2015, he may have perhaps arrested Wignesvaran the Chief Minister of the NPC for high treason and breach of the Constitution. He would not have written a new Constitution but retained the old with  Amendments. He would have removed the 13Amendment, and encouraged resettlement of the Sinhala and Muslims in the North and East. He may have also arrested the Muslim politicians who act in breach of the Constitution or cleared  the Wilpattu forest reserve  to create Muslim Settlements.

It is not an easy task to be the President of Sri Lanka.  The ex President had to deal with difficult problems in different situations.  He was not working with honest Ministers, who loved the country as much as he loved the country and the people. He had to be a man with a strong character to run  a cabinet of Ministers like Maithripala Sirisena, Nimal Siripalade Silva, S.B.Dissanayake, Rajitha Senaratne, Mahinda Samarasinghe, Dilan Perera, Sarath Amunugama and the rest. We now see what rascals ” they are.  We can imagine how difficult it would have been to work with such deceitful scoundrels.

Impeachment of the Chief Justice.

Ex President is very much criticised  for the impeachment of the Chief Justice Shiranee Bandaranaike.  But that impeachment was carried out in terms of the Constitution, there was nothing wrong in it. Only thing one could adduce against the impeachment is perhaps the reason for her impeachment, which was not her allowing the passing of  the Janashakti Development  bill.

Sri Lanka after elimination of terrorism was  being taken progressively  forward with development of the country at a very fast pace, and in that development process the Government  had to have every sector of the country the Judiciary, Executive and the legislative to help him in the process of development. But when the Judiciary was  turning out to be a barriers against his  moves to develop the country, it seems correct that such barriers are removed.  He was doing it for the benefit of the country and not for his own personal benefit.

Democracy as well as Human Rights  were imported from the West where both are mercilessly flouted.

Democracy is good for a developed country, with  media freedom, legislative independence, freedom of speech, to manifest against the governments actions etc.  But for a developing country like Sri Lanka specially after having been battered by terrorism, media freedom independence of judiciary and even manifestations could be barriers for development and therefore has to be used stringently, without allowing the slowing down of development processes.

We can now understand that there may have been persons around Mahinda Rajapakse the President, who used their position to feather their own nests”.  The possibilities were there. But Mahinda Rajapakse would not have resorted to bribery and corruption as he is not a fool not to know that  once he is out of power every one will accuse him and search to prove he was dishonest.   He may have had other resources without resorting to bribery , fraud and stealth. Why not look at the situation positively without being negative , searching only to accuse him without giving cfredit to him for vast development he initiated for the benefit of the country and the people ?

A President, Dictator, or a village Thug ?

We have now a President who is weak and very much dependent on persons who cannot be trusted to help him run the country to develop it and provide comfort, security and better living conditions to the people.  But in acting  to prove that he is intelligent , strong and in control of his yahapalanaya government, he behaves like a thug, or a Dictator of sort. But he  acts like a subordinate of his Prime Minister.

Capitalism and Socialism cannotboth be in the same Government ..

It is  a pity, that those from SLFP who joined  and acclaim  Maithripala Sirisena as their Leader, and the President of SLFP are dishonest hypocrites only  protecting their position for their personal aggrandizement. They do not realise that in being with UNP to form a Yahapalanaya government they are only helping UNP to use them to ruin the country with its capitalist policies.

Being friendly with USA and the West and following their dictates do not help the country. Furthermore in that situation the socialist policies of  the founder of SLFP are being flouted by  the President Maithripala Siriesna, in having  Ranil Wickramasinghe and UNP as partners  of he same government.

We are a colony of the Indian Empire like Mauritius, Fiji and Guyana, Chandrika like her father is the Governor appointed by Indian Empire. Sirisena is the Coolie and Ranil the Peon both voted in by the Indian colonial parasite block vote.

Apart from highly commending you for taking legal action against the treacherous CBK (Chaura Rejina) regarding the defamatory and utter lies she keeps repeating to defame her rivals, legal action should be taken against her for stating that she will definitely devolve more powers to provincial Councils within the new constitution. Does this evil woman CBK think she owns Sri Lanka and that she is the one who is going to draw up the new constitution of Sri Lanka (according to the wishes of the imperialistic US, UK, EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden, India, the racist TNA and the separatist terrorists)? The constitution of Sri Lanka should satisfy first and foremost the majority of people of this island i.e. the Sinhala people and the Sinhala people firstly do not want to draw up a new constitution nor do they want any more powers whatsoever be provided to the provincial councils especially land, police and fiscal or to illegally merge the North and the East.

Someone has to go to the supreme court and take action against treacherous CBK for suggesting that she will definitely devolve more powers to provincial councils within the yet to be drawn up constitution since this means the treacherous Ranil, Sirisena, CBK and Mangala have already drawn up a constitution to satisfy the imperialistic US, UK, EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden, India, the racist TNA and the separatist terrorists which is illegal.

When looking at Sri Lanka’s history, it is extremely obvious that from 600BC to around 1400AD there were three kingdoms, all Sinhala Buddhist, Ruhuna, Pihiti or Rajarata and Maya or Malayarata. Rajarata encompassed today’s North Central, North Western, Northern and even the Central Province. Ruhunu rata encompassed today’s Uva, Eastern and Southern Provinces. The Kandyan Kingdom from 1400AD encompassed most of the island inclusive of today’s Northern and the Eastern Provinces except for the Jaffna Peninsula. Even the Jaffna Peninsula was invaded and occupied by force by Aryachakravarthi (Pandyan) and actually did belong to Rajarata earlier and later the Kandyan Kingdom.

Today’s provincial boundaries were drawn up by the British colonialists as per their divide and rule policy and the Sinhala people were not consulted when drawing up these provincial boundaries. In the meantime, most Sri Lankan Tamils of today were actually brought over during Dutch and British times to the Jaffna Peninsula and elsewhere to work on tobacco and indigo plantations which were planted extensively in all the colonies since they were much sought after and made a lot of money for the colonialists. Therefore they are recent arrivals and cannot claim homelands or separate states whatsoever.

The usual practice when a colonial power hands over their former colonies is to hand it over to its original owners. Therefore the British colonialists should hand over the Kandyan Kingdom to the Kandyan Sinhalese from whom they took it by force. Since the Kandyan Kingdom encompassed the North and the East, these provinces too should be handed over to the Kandyan Sinhalese who are its rightful owners. Even the Jaffna Peninsula should be handed over to the Kandyan Sinhalese since it was part of Rajarata and was forcefully occupied by Aryachakravarthi (Pandyan).

Since this has now been done already, the TNA and other separatist terrorists or the US, UK EU, Canada, Norway, Sweden and India cannot demand that present day Northern or even the Eastern provinces be provided any more powers or be made into federal states since this is totally going against the history and archaeology of the island and totally going against the rights of the Sinhala people who also have fundamental rights to claim the entire island inclusive of the North and the East as their homeland first and foremost. Therefore, the TNA , the separatist terrorists, the US, UK, Norway, Sweden, Canada and India has to respect the history and archaeology of the island and accept that the present day provincial councils are more than sufficient to run the affairs of the provinces. Sri Lanka must be a unitary state and no more powers should be provided to the provincial councils. In fact, when talking about the 13th amendment, the concurrent list subjects must be included in the national list. The provision where two provinces can merge should be deleted. The bogus claim of the North and the East being the homeland of the Tamil speaking people should be deleted. The entire island should be declared the homeland of all its peoples.

Sinhala people should be resettled in the North in quite a large number if there is to be peace and harmony within the island since Sinhala people have every historical right to live in the North as well as the East. It is only due to ethnic cleansing of the North of Sinhala people by the LTTE and the other separatists that Sinhala people are not at present living in the North. Many thousands of landless elsewhere in the island especially Sinhala people should be provided land in the North since most of the vacant land in the country is in the North and in the East since both these provinces encompass over 28% of the land area of the island. Then only will there be peace since when people mix, there is more harmony. This is the only way towards peace and development in the island.
