A very good speaker. He is reasonably good in English as well compared to almost all parliamentarians.
There is an unseen service BBS is doing. They are raising the stakes of turning the nation secular. Given the state of instability, it is explosive to touch Article 9 of the Constitution. Most don’t seem to notice this service.
However, sections of BBS have used violence and hate speech. They must act with restraint. BBS will gain much more acceptance if they conduct within acceptable limits. Having said that, the government will not illegalise hate speech as such a move will affect TNA, SLMC and their respective leaders most. It can even affect their culture and religion. BBS can thrive without hate speech but the others cannot.

This report is by Al Jazeera. It contains many exaggerations and fallacies.
But Dilanthe defends BBS position. The presenter cuts him short unable to face his facts. It is most disgusting and spiteful that it tries to depict Sri Lanka having 75% Sinhalese as a problem! India is 80% Hindu, Saudi Arabia is 100% Islamic and UK is near 80% Christian. These events happen in those countries as well in far worse scale.

It is indeed a CARDINAL SIN to arrest and remand the only man fighting for the rights of the Sinhala Buddist majority, agsinst endemic DISCRIMINATION against the Sinhala Buddhist by the Yamapalanaya, while the BUNGLERS and BOND SCAMMERS are allowed to go SCOT FREE, and even richly rewarded!
As Anura Kumaratunga Dissanayake quipped in Parliament recently referring to Ravi Karunanayake being swapped out from the Finance Ministry into the Foreign Minstry:
“meka karawala hora-kaaapu balalata umbalakadayakin gahanawa wagey”!
Our native Sinhala IDIOM is hard to beat for pithiness when delivering a devastatingly sarcastic criticism!

Ven Gnanasara did his bit to install the current government with the Indian block vote. He managed to distance Muslim and Christian vote from from Mahinda.
Dilantha comes from Cey-Nor days when India pumped money through Norway. Cey-Nor was a Norway aid program specially for fishermen of Jaffna on boat building ad fishing. Norway Socialists like Solheim are Indian puppets. Norway sold lots of communication, radar and radio technology to Indian Defense before the days of North Sea oil.
Use by date of Gnanasara may be coming closer. India may do a Sobitha job on Gnanasara.
So Dilantha may be still on the Cey-Nor payroll.
