Ven. Gnanasara Thero arrested again

The General Secretary of Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) organisation, Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thero, has been arrested by the Police Organised Crimes Division.
Police said that the Thero was arrested on charges of obstructing police officers from exercising their duties, threatening police officers and making hate speeches.
He is to be produced at the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court shortly, a spokesman said.
Ven. Gnanasara Thero, who surrendered to courts this morning over the arrest warrant against him, was afterwards released on the previous bail by the Colombo Fort Magistrate.
He was later questioned by the Police Organised Crimes Division and taken into custody over an incident in the Welikada area.
The Organised Crimes Division had previously launched investigations to arrest the BBS General Secretary on charges of forcefully entering and sabotaging a press conference held at a hotel in Slave Island (on April 09, 2014) and insulting the Quran.
UPDATE (3.09pm) – Ven. Gnanasara Thero was released on bail by the court.
Producing the venerable thero before the court, DIG Kamal de Silva of the Organised Crimes Division informed the court that police had no objections towards granting bail to the defendant.
Colombo Additional Magistrate Buddhika Sri Ragala reminded that the police had previously informed the court regarding the heinous comments made by the thero regarding torching mosques and identifying the seriousness of such statements he had issued an order in the middle of the night.
Therefore he inquired from the DIG as to why police have no objections to granting bail to the suspect today. DIG Kamal de Silva stated that police have no objections towards granting him bail as investigations pertaining to the incident have been completed.
The magistrate then inquired as why the police department does not follow this course of action with regard to other suspects.
DIG Kamal de Silva responded saying they will attempt to follow the same action with regard to other suspects in the future.
Additional Magistrate Buddhika Sri Ragala stated that he is disappointed by the current state of the police department.
After considering the facts presented, he ordered the thero released on a personal bail of Rs 100,000 and two surety bails of Rs 100,000 each. The case was postponed till August 04.

Although Catholics made up less than a tenth of the Vietnamese population, Diem himself was Catholic, as were all his other family members in the government. Diem’s government engaged in often vicious persecution of Buddhists, who made up the overwhelming majority of Vietnamese citizens, particularly peasants. Diem’s brother Ngo Dinh Thuc, the influential Catholic archbishop of Hue, in particular came into conflict with Buddhists.

I am glad he is dealt according to the law of land. These scoundrels don’t represent the noble religion.
All these religious freaks use any religion either to make money, get attention, control people with fear,etc
We don’t need them in this day and age.
Today UK is under attack from another vile form of a religion and we the taxpayers are angry that the politician’s are giving into political correction and allowing then another day to continue to torment and harm us..
Ban all religions I say. They are lethal as WMD.
Send them into a big isolated island, all of them and let us live in peace. Just as in technology I am suggesting the life we need for our generations to come, the future. We don’t want among us.

How come the “Law of the Land” is enforced ONLY AGAINST Sinhala Buddhists and NOT AGAINST OTHERS who have incited violence for PROVABLY?
Why is Wigneswaran allowed to Commemorate the DEAD LTTE terrorists and call for war crimes trials against our Rana-Viruwo who saved the Tamils from the human shields?
Why is Sivajilingam, who still ADVOCATES separatism and was in India inciting violence and UN/Western intervention NOT ARRESTED?
Why are the Muslim politicians threatening violence against Sinhala people opposing their LAND GRABS and RELIGIOUS-CLEANSING in the East, and making FALSE STATEMENTS of attacks against Muslim businesses NOT ARRESTED?
Why is attorney Lakshan Dias allowed to FALSELY CLAIM that 166 Catholic Churches were attacked, a claim REFUTED by Cardinal Malcolm Rajitha as UNTRUE, and STILL REMAIN at large?
Why is it that the BUDDHIST Galgodawatte Gnanasara Thero the ONLY ONE PURSUED for telling the TRUTH about Muslim Land Grabs, Muslim religious-cleansing of Buddhist Archeological artifacts.
Certainly, Gnanasara Thero is not using diplomatic mumbo-jumbo in HIS SPEECH, but what about HIS FACTS?

The Title of this article is FALSELY tries to convey the impression that the police arrested Gnanasara himi during their searches for him.
Nothing could be FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!
BBS leaders had announced yesterday that Gnanasara Thero is willing to surrender to the court on the scheduled court daye if his safety is guaranteed by the court and he is provided a SECURITY team acceptable to him.
This us what happened; he surrendered to the court, and he was granted bail and perhaps the security team he wanted.
In being granted BAIL now, after two arrest warrents were issued against him for failure to appear in court, he has won a significant victory.
No doubt, the TOUGH STATEMENT ISSUED by the Asgiriya Nikaya against the DISCRIMINATORY treatment against Gnanasara Thero, other Buddhist priests, and the Sinhala Buddhist community in GENETAL, has made the Yamapalana Govt think TWICE about how they treat Gnanasara priest in court.
This will NOT END WELL for the Yamapalanaya; the majority of the PEOPLE are now against the Yamapalanaya.
The Yamapalanaya is SO INSENSITIVE, that I would not put it past them to present YET ANOTHER budget bill for ANOTHER LARGE BATCH of Luxury Vehicles for their Lackeys! STEAL it while the getting is good has always been their POLICY!

Law of the land should be vigorously applied to all people, that include trouble makers from the Christian, Hindu and Muslim backgrounds.
I say we could live without these damn religions that is the root cause of all the conflicts.
