   Sirasa is promoting the anti-national constitution making project. They don’t want to give adequate publicity to the fact that Ranil is the biggest suspect in the bank robbery case. They include some non-Sirasa video clips – all from yahapalana backers – to do that. The normally garrulous Samantha Vijjaratne – jvp’s lying joker – says unuth ekai munuth ekai, but the discerning public started adding thopith ekai to that jingle long ago.

   Considering the fact that though the new regime launched its witch hunt against the Rajapaksas soon after it wrested power from the previous government through a foreign led conspiracy, it has failed to find any piece of incriminating evidence against them. Sirasa ignores the fact that actually Sirisena was forced to appoint the prez commission on the bond scam by the pressure exerted by the JO; Sirasa doesn’t even mention that well known fact in this video. Instead they obliquely extend their criticism to the Rajapaksas as well. Sirasa’s strategy here is the same as the yahapalana gang’s: While the bond scam keeps the people riveted , the constitution trap is being laid that will spring suddenly some day soon, taking the people unawares.

   I am not guilty of any blind allegiance to a political party, person or ideology. But I support the JO at this moment, because only it can build up a strong enough opposition against the present kakocracy, and because there is no national leader other than JO’s MR, who can successfully challenge the thakkadiya who is chuckling behind the ongoing constitutional coup.
