Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that the upcoming Local Government election will be akin to a referendum where the people will express their public opinion.

He further stated that all voters should utilize their power to vote against a failing regime that has sold almost all government owned land.

Mahinda Rajapaksa expressed these sentiments at his residence yesterday.

Don’t worry Sir the people in this country still trust you more than any other poltician so just a matter of time . People are disgusted and dying for a change . How can people survive with this high cost of living ? Who is enjoying the life in this country except politicians . Poor becomes more poorer and rich becomes more richer. We needs a change same like we were having after the war until Jan8th. Pohottuwa is our symbol and the winning symbol under our great president Mahinda Rajapaksa .
