Tamils Welcome Sanctions Against Army Chief

What is obvious in the reaction of the Tamils against the army chief is that they recognize his role in the defeat of the Tamil terrorist group the LTTE, which they identified with and supported and resent him for the military defeat of the LTTE.  To them, he is a villain, to those who oppose the LTTE he is a hero. Non-LTTE supporters in Sri Lanka should express their opinion that they recognise the great service he gave Sri Lanka. That should be the reaction of all Sri Lankans who did not and do not support the LTTE and they are the majority of Sri Lankans.  

The current leadership of the Tamils were the spokespersons for the LTTE during the thirty years of terrorist activity and continue to work towards their goal of dividing Sri Lanka to create their fascist, Tamil only state in the north and east of Sri Lanka. They continue to collect funds and are politically active overseas to get the countries they live in to pressure Sri Lanka to create Eelam. Based on the current statements of the Tamil leadership in Sri Lanka, it is clear that they continue to push for their goal of dividing Sri Lanka. The LTTE supporters in Sri Lanka and overseas have not given up on their goal to create Eelam.

For Sri Lankans who do not want Tamil Eelam, they should support military leaders such as Lt. Gen. Shavendra Silva and commend the current government for continuing to give him a leadership role in defending the country.

    LTTE supporting Tamils in North and anywhere in the world ARE A LOT OF UNGRATEFUL ! ILLITERATE !! TERRORIST SUPPORTERS !!! LIVING IN SRI LANKA.
    THESE TAMILS SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT “THEY ARE A LOT OF REFUGEES ” WHO HAVE INVADED ILLEGALLY INTO SRI LANKA.
    THESE TERRORISTS DO NOT REALISE THAT,THERE ARE THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS OF TAMILS LIVING IN OTHER PARTS OF SRI LANKA MORE THAN THE ILLITERATES LIVING IN NORTH!!!
