Basil Rajapaksa, Minister of Finance has stated that only one third of the lands cultivated during the Maha season have been prepared for cultivation.

He has pointed this out at a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa during a discussion on the fertilizer crisis.

At present paddy fields and other cultivations have been successfully prepared only in the Kurunegala and North Eastern districts and the Minister of Finance has pointed out with statistics.

If the situation continues like this, the country will face a food shortage in the future, said Basil Rajapaksa.

Hon. Basil Rajapaksa is frank to tell the “TRUTH” of the expected calamity that may happen. It is time-up that the government has to be “tough”. The President has to spend some time to look into the causes of all the protests and other challenges thrown at the government to retard the progress it has promised and is working to make happen. The hidden culprit who is financing these protests and working closely with the JVP, Stalin and the Farmers organizations is Chathura Seneratne the leader of the so called Democratic National Movement which is fully financed by all Western Powers who want a “Change of Government” in Sri Lanka. Chathura Seneratne a former MP and ally of the SJB has gone into political “HIBERNATION” since the HE. Gotabaya Rajapaksa came to power in November 2019 and the SLPP won the general elections in August 2020. Enough evidence is available that he is the “master brain” organizing all the illegal protest in Sri Lanka under the pretext of “democratic rights”. Chathura Seneratne should be brought before the “Rule of Law” soon and punished before more harm is done to our “MAATHRUBOOMIYA”.
