The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) yesterday (25) said the President and the Government should have tabled the complete report of the Easter Sunday Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI), in Parliament first before giving it to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka (CBCSL).

The full report was handed over to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka (CBCSL) by Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles.

Addressing a media briefing yesterday (25), SLFP Chairman former President Maithiripala Sirisena and SLFP General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara said the report would become a public document only when it is tabled in Parliament. I appointed this PCoI to probe the Easter Sunday attacks. Presenting this full report to Parliament was blocked by the former President. Now these people are chasing behind me. During my time, Zahran’s gang was completely destroyed within three weeks of Easter attacks. Many were arrested as well. The terrorists are now comfortably in prison

, but everyone wants me to suffer,” Sirisena stressed.
