58 the Colombo Camporee Organizing commissioners meet the Hon Prime Minister.

The biggest event for Colombo scouts, the 58th Colombo Camporee is scheduled to be held from 8th to 10th December 2023 at the Vihara Maha Devi Park, with the participation of more than 12,000 scouts and scout leaders from the district. This time the theme of Colombo Camporee is ‘Scouting with Heart & Mind’.
The officials of the 58th Colombo Camporee met the Hon Prime Minister Dinesh Goonawardene at the Prime Minister’s office in Sri Lanka Parliament and pinned the Camporee Badge. Hon Prime Minister wished the organizers of the grand project and highly appreciated the tireless commitment of all who involved in developing disciplined leaders through Scouting at the needy time of the country.
From the Colombo Scout headquarters, District Scout Commissioner Mr. Amil Abeysundara, 58th Colombo Camporee organizing Commissioner Mr. Shabeen Ahamed and the Chairman of Colombo Scout Executive Committee Mr. Sarath Chandrasiri Vithana and few Scout leaders participated for this meeting.
