Is Bollywood influencing the Indian mind and taking it away from its deep seated nationalism and spiritual roots, and replacing the sacred icons of India like the Buddha, Mahavira, Emperor Asoka, Mahatma Gandhi, and the like with lightweight film stars and singers of mean repute and dubious character who are being increasingly projected by billboards and framed pictures in Indian Restaurants and public places as the true role models for the young and future generations?

Both India and China are giants. They are  competing with each other for the rank of the mother civilization of Asia. While China remains untouched culturally speaking by the passing fancies of the day and maintains a forbidding exterior of an unspoilt nature India exemplifies the very opposite. 

This is a let down, betrayal and saddening not only for India but for all those people worldwide who look up to India for moral direction and unqualified commitment to integrity and world leadership.

Once world renowned as the ‘ Vishwa Guru’
(Teacher of the World) India today is anything but that. India must accept the challenge to regain its respected old position.
