It was just last Sunday, January 16, that Andrew Moran in Examiner reported – “Public officials help welcome National Council of Canadian Tamils office.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The National Council of Canadian Tamils (NCCT) Chairman, Mohan Ramakrishnan, and Member of Parliamment, Paul Calandra, took part in the traditional cutting of the ribbon…” at the launch of the official NCCT office in Northern Toronto, at 3510 Finch Avenue East, Unit 10,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ on Saturday, January 15,. 2011.

Paul Calandra is the Conservatrive MP for Oak Ridges-Markham, and the NCCT objective #8 in their brochureƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ refers, “To advocate and raise awareness on the principles articulated by the Tamil community through the December 19, 2009 referendum.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The mandate of that referendum was an oath, “I aspire for the formation of the independent and sovereign state of Tamil Eelam in the north and the east territory of the island of Sri Lanka on the basis that the Tamils in the island of Sri Lanka make a distinct nation, have a traditional homeland and have the right to self-government.”

More to the point, the NCCT has deliberately adapted in its logo the poisonous lily which is the symbolic flower of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE aka Tamil Tigers).ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This flower has no relevance to the Tamil community at large nor represent the life in their adopted home, Canada.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ This poisonous lily was introduced by the LTTE in 1991 to remember their fallen comrades and it is the floral emblem of their mythical mono-ethnic, racist Tamil state, Eelam.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Thus it is valid to argue that the mandate of the NCCT is that of the Tamil Tigers.

I am not quite sure how the Conservatives can reconcile themselves to have one of their MPs participate in the ceremonial opening of the official office of the NCCT, the proxy of the LTTE, when it were the Conservatives that banned the Tamil Tiger terroristsƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ in April 2006.

I am sure this terror organization will also ask for a separate land in Canada too if possible and I hope and pray that it will come to that level too. Let them try there best to harm our land with the help of these idiotic pundits in Canada. We can assure that it will be totally ignored and rejected by our people in Sri Lanka. No body will ever harm our country again and forever.

This demonstrates how incompetent or disinterested the responsible officers attached to the SriLankan High Commission in Canada are.
A group of Canadian residents (in this instance Tamils claiming to be from SriLanka) that is engaged in distorting the history and policies of another country and then having the audacity to take an oath to create a separate nation for themselves in the targeted country, should not have a place in any civilised society and least of all in a Commonwealth country like Canada. If some Canadian politicians do not care to investigate the validity of issues brought from overseas and have got sucked into believing these distortions then, the Sri Lankan High Commission is very much guilty and answerable for allowing such myths to take root in a foreign land.
Its not difficult to reverse a myth if only the High Commission works hard enough to expose it with easily available records the non-existence of any separate nation within the island of Sri Lanka, as such a state did not exist even at the time the British granted independence to SriLanka in 1948. If there was the slightest indication of such a separate nation the British would have gladly seen to it at least as a mark of gratitude to the these people who were most useful to the British during their colonial rule.
An example is the nation of Maldive Islands which was ruled by SriLanka during and prior to British rule, but was recognised as a separate country by the British at the time of granting independences to SriLanka(Ceylon).
Lets hope the Govt of SriLanka appoint energetic, knowledgeable and patriotic people to SriLankan High Commissions and Embassies and get organisations like NCCT disbanded..

These Tamil Terrorists Sympathiser MFs, have a very different Agenda. The NCCT is just a front, and can be equated to drawing a Red Herring across the Trail. It appears that these selected Tamil MFs want to keep their Treasury loaded to capacity, so that the High Caste Tamils can lead a high life with all the Financial Resources of the Low Caste Tamils. It is undoubtedly true, that all those Tamils who are ignorantly making financial contributions to these NCCT Mfs, are LOW CASTE TAMILS. So are all the Tamil Fronts, under various high sounding names, are pulling the wool over the eyes of the Low Caste Tamils, and collecting money from them to upkeep their high life styles and luxury life.
These Low Caste Tamil Idiots should realise that their fantasy dream of a Tamil Eelaam, can never, ever be realized in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is TOTALLY CLOSED TO TAMIL TIGER TERRORISTS IDEALOGIES, and their contributing to keep the High Caste Tamils in a life of Luxury, is ludicrous and moronic. SO, WHY ARE THESE LOW CASTE TAMILS FINANCIALLY CONTRIBUTING TO KEEP AFLOAT A SET OF FRAUDULENT HIGH CASTE TAMILS, FOR A CAUSE WHICH THEY WILL NEVER SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY ? BECAUSE THE LOW CASTE TAMILS ARE A SET OF UNEDUCATED IDIOTS, PERIOD. These Tamil Con Men, are fooling the Low Caste Tamils, with Titles like Prime Minister whom they have already appointed. My foot. The High Caste Tamils will surely be milking the Low Caste Tamils for years to come, unless ONE LOW CLASS TAMIL REALISES THAT THEY ARE BEING TAKEN FOR A GOOD RIDE, AND EDUCATE THE REST, NOT TO CONTRIBUTE ONE CENT, TO THE HIGH CLASS TAMIL COFFERS.
