Suspected gunman in Weligama PS Chairman murder arrested

A person suspected of being the shooter in the murder of the Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman has been arrested by the Special Task Force (STF) in Nawinna, Maharagama.

Furthermore, two other individuals suspected of aiding and abetting the murder have been arrested in the Matara area.

Several individuals have already been arrested over their alleged connection with the fatal shooting of the Weligama Pradeshiya Sabha Chairman, which occurred earlier this week.
