Buddhist Monk Dies at a Funeral

A US born Buddhist monk, Venerable Siridhamma (85) died of a massive heart attack while attending the funeral of a Sri Lankan.
Just few minutes before the last rites of the Late Mrs. Batugedara was performed at a funeral home in Lancaster in Southern California where the monk was about to participate with other monks he fell and died on the spot before attending doctors could resuscitate him.
The monk’s funeral will take place on January 24 in North Hollywood California. He was a resident monk at Sarthchandra Buddhist Meditation Center in North Hollywood
