Dear Mr.Paul Murray

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ It is indeed satisfying to see someone thought to put things in correct perspective!
Under the heading “Rort attempts do not help Sri Lankan cause”

These people who have been crying for persecution of Tamils in Sri Lanka has been articulating these sob stories as there are quite a lot of Australian gullible who believe them uncontested. Most of these people are paid heavily for their services. As for the Sinhalese community here in Australia itƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s a daunting task to find an independent body that would report, assess and comment the stark reality of the situation of Tamils and those in IPDs in Sri Lanka.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Those who take a boat ride towards Australia or any other first World countries know that this could be the last time that they could bluff the authorities in those countries that they are been persecuted, so that they could get their sympathy which would help them to seek much sought residency. You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Most of these people are engaged in money laundering, drug trafficking, credit card forgeries and passport forgeries, few days back one chap who is now a resident confessed to the papers how he flushed down the toilet the forged Passport while in flight to Australia.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Now they say theyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢ve got documents from UNHCR to prove that they are genuine refugees, I wonder how one could get such a document and walk freely without being in a foreign government refugee camp! So the chances are those documents could be forged! I hope the Immigration authorities would check those documents intensely for their authenticity.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ I am deeply thankful to you for analyzing the claims of these sham refugees and bringing to the notice of the public. ItƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s gratifying to see that there are honest journalists among a plethora of deceitful journalists! Thank you for speaking out!

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Yours Sincerely,

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Vajiragnana Warnakulasuriya,
Melbourne
