Claude Fernando,Brampton, Canada.
It’s a significant milestone of Venerable Pannasara Thera of Brampton Buddhists Mission Centre, to have an opportunity to open”Canadapura”Children’s village on July 10th 2011.
Indeed! Dream came true. His Excellency President Mahinda Rajapaksha was the eminent guest who participated that exceptional moment with others to declare open this social establishment.
This institution has been constructed for destitute orphans who are living, one of the remote areas, named “Dabarayawatta” inTangalle electorate. . Venerable Pannasara Thera took a bravery step and initiated this difficult task in the honest and genuine intention of making a new haven for the needy children who are spending underprivileged life style. It’s not easy task to build such a huge complex while doing holy religious affairs in Brampton Buddhist Mission Centre . But most philanthropist Sri Lankan who are residents of Canada had granted their fullest support for this tremendous endeavor of Ven. Pannasara thera by donating&contributing necessary items to achieve the expected goal.
Ven.Pannasara thera had gotten a great accord at the ceremony held in Sri Lanka. He was revered and elevated as Chief Buddhist prelate of Canada for his indefatigable spiritual mission dedicated for the Buddhist devotees in Brampton and surrounding areas. In my view Ven.Pannasara Thera is a most respectable holy mentor not only for Buddhist devotees but also other religious and ethnic groups who are residing in the same area. My heartiest gratitude to Ven Pannasara Thera for his future social and religious serious of measures.
