Tamil taxidermists stuff Tiger skins with stamps

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Tamil separatist movement is littered all the way, from the peak of the resolution passed in Vadukoddai (1976) to its lowest depths in Nandikadal (2008), with attention-getting stunts. These stunts and strategies scored heavily on propaganda. But in real terms their stunts and strategies failed to achieve any of their political goals. Some even boomeranged on them like the stamps issued in France. All their stunts and strategies have been expensive in human costs. Their investments in stunts, strategies and most importantly in violence have taken them at best into exile and at worst into Nandikadal.

The Tamil separatists began with mass protest meetings at Galle Face green in 1956 and in Jaffna. Then, posing as Gandhians, they staged the stunt of distributing wooden pistols to the youth staging Gandhian satyagrahs in Jaffna. Then they decided to arm the youth. Their calculated strategy was to abandon the non-violent mainstream politics and resort to a military solution. This was officially affirmed at Vadukoddai in 1976 when they declared war on the rest of the nation. They threw the entire might of Jaffna human and financial resources to wage their war against the Sri Lanka state and lost ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” lost ignominiously.

It was the Jaffna political caste/class that decided to go to war. No one asked them to take up arms. Once the Jaffna elite armed the youth they lost control of the political forces which they controlled from feudal times. Once they passed the guns to the children of the Vadukoddai Resolution like Velupillai Prabhakaran the youth took the law into their hands and decimated the entire Tamil leadership ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” i.e., the fathers of the Vadukoddai Resolution. It was their biggest blunder. Quite correctly, Prof. Kumar David categorized the Jaffna political caste/class as ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-idiotsƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. Where have all their stunts, tactics and strategies taken them except into the cold, murky waters of Nandikadal!

In February 1961 they launched the biggest protest campaign against Mrs. Sirimavo Bandaranaike in the north and the east. In July they even launched a Tamil stamp to proclaim their independence. Like all other stunts it was staged as mark of their exclusive ownership of territory but their stunts fizzled out without any political gains. Now the delusional Tamil expats are repeating abroad the same stunt of their failed fathers at home.

The farce of issuing stamps in France, no doubt, tickled the fancy of the Tiger taxidermists in Paris who are desperately attempting to stuff the dead skin of Prabhakaran with some life. But because no one ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” not even Fr. S. J. Emmanuel, the former Vicar of the Jaffna ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” can do a Lazarus the Tiger taxidermists are forced to sneak in sanitized photos of Prabhakaran into stamps hoping that by licking the backside the Tamils could bring him back to life from his watery grave.

Their triumphalism in Paris, however, didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t last long. The Sri Lankan government moved in swiftly and squashed them. They ended with egg on their faces when the French authorities apologized to Dr. Dayan Jayatilleka, Ambassador in France. Louis Virgile, Director – Strategy and International, Phil@poste wrote: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Beyond the written apologies, FranƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚§ois Chalvet, DirectorƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  of Sales and Marketing, and I (Louis Virgile) have met this Thursday, January 5, His Excellency the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to apologize in person on behalf of Phil@poste.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

Once again it was a victory for Sri Lanka with the Tamil expats left to wonder why the world is against them. Once again the Jaffna jingoists are disappointed that their attempt to gain international recognition by issuing personal stamps (thatƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s the main idea of issuing a postage stamp) has boomeranged. Each time they go up in the air, believing euphorically that they had scored a deadly blow against the Sri Lankan government they come down like deflated balloons.

The Tamil expats are condemned to play the permanent role of taxidermists desperately looking for new material to stuff the rotten skin of Tigers because they have no heroes to glorify their name. Period. Besides, selling the corpse of Prabhakaran is big business for them. The only way they can be in the lucrative business of raking money is by stuffing Tiger skins. It is also the only stunt available to pose as Tamil prime ministers, ministers, and leaders of a non-existent state. It is a peculiar trait of the Jaffna mentality to wallow incurably in myths of their wild fantasies. Elusive Eelam was one. When that failed they retreated into Transnational Government in no-manƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s land. Since that is not going anywhere they have gone back to issuing stamps of Prabhakaran, or planting stone heads of Thamilchelvam to commemorate fascist terror of Tamils.

With nothing substantial to make their fantasies come true they are compelled to live in myths and stunts. But the more they resort to these stunts the more they expose their weaknesses. The Parisian stunt provoked the hand of the international community and the Sri Lankan government to take action against the Tamil taxidermists. This game of trying to keep the dead Tigers alive is a pathetic exercise. In a sense, one has to pity them because Jaffna never produced heroes. Two memorable lines in Bertolt BrechtƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s Life of Galileo demonstrate their plight: ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Andrea: Unhappy is the land that breeds no hero. Gallileo: No, Andrea. Unhappy is the land that needs a hero.ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Jaffna is a land that bred no heroes. And the hero they bred at last brought them unhappiness, misery, defeat and ignominy. He committed all the imaginable crimes against the Tamils. Dr. Noel Nadesan, Editor of Uthayam, the community newspaper in Australia, novelist and a Tamil activist, told me that he had spoken to Tamil girls raped by Tiger cadres for defecting into KarunaƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s camp. Prabhakaran forced young Tamil mothers to jump from trees to abort the unborn children so that they could be recruited into the depleted Tiger cadres. He ran gulags to incarcerate Tamil dissidents, old and young. He liquidated the entire Tamil leadership in the democratic stream. He established the first Tamil fascist state questioning the ability of Tamils to rule Tamils. The list is unending. For any Tamil to issue a stamp in his name confirms ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” not Tamil heroism ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” but the moral bankruptcy of the Jaffna culture.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sri Lanka has issued stamps in the name of great Tamils like Ananda Coomaraswamy etc. Why havenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t the Tamil expats issued stamps in the name of Appapillai Amirthalingam, Lakshman Kadirgamar ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” both of whom were assassinated by Prabhakaran? Is the Tamil culture prone to glorify and celebrate only war criminals and Tamil persecutors and torturers? When will Jaffna produce a hero that will be honoured by the civilized world?

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The Parisian stunt which backfired should make the Tamils hide their heads in shame. TamilNet reported yesterday that their highly publicized stunt to file a case against President Mahinda Rajapakse in America has failed. So what are the gains of Tamil stuntmen in real terms? For instance, why is their prime minister, Rudrakumaran, and his cabinet still stuck in no-manƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s land? At best they can claim to have put pressure on the SL government with their stunts. But on balance they have lost more than what they hoped to gain. Their stunts put more pressure on the SL government to resist them and their agents at home. They turn the Sri Lankan public away from making compromises.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Their anti-Sri Lankan stunts, without any measurable gains, may serve their ulterior motives of collecting more funds to maintain their lifestyle abroad. But how have these stunts served the crying needs of Tamils at home. With each failed stunt they look more like jokers than strategists with any capacity to go back to Vadukoddai Resolution ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” their ultimate aim.

Besides, the more they are determined to go back to Vadukoddai the more it strengthens the hands of the majority ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” including the peace-loving Tamils running away from the bitter past ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” to resist making any deals with the TNA or other groups of Tamil separatists. The majority see them as taxidermists stuffing Tiger skins than aiding the living Tamils. Their negative role is anathema to the security and the prospects of the future. So what have the Tamil stuntmen achieved? Prabhakaran, the cruelest killer of Tamils next to Sankili, left the Tamils branded as terrorists. Now the stunts of his followers are making the Tamils look like a set of clowns.

At best the political stuntmen have taken some ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” including Tamils ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” for a ride. They score temporary propaganda victories. But soon they are found out and then they donƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t have even a fig leaf to cover their nakedness. Take the case of the three Tiger stooges in Australia: Dr. Sam Pari, Ms. Meena Krishnamurthy and Arunachalam Jegatheesawaram. They took the Australian media ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” particularly ABC ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” for a grand ride posing as human rights activists. It didnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t take long for the Defence Ministry to expose their past links to the Tamil Tigers.

The Tiger archives in Vanni revealed that they had signed up as Tiger cadres swearing oaths of allegiance to serve Prabhakaran, the mass murderer who killed more Tamils in the name protecting Tamils. Once their cover was blown they lost their credibility. Since then they have ceased to front up before cameras as the goody-goodies because they are now seen as stuntmen/women.

The other stunt is the TGTE, which is rather comic, with V. Rudrakumaran as the fictitious Prime Minister of a state that exist only in the puerile imagination of a handful of Tamil expats who are fighting with each other jockeying for power. The fragmentation of the Tamil expats where Rudrakumaran, Nedumaran and Fr. Emmanuel are engaged in a bitter battle to grab the largest possible following (which means more money in their banks) is typical of the toxic Tamil politics that eats into their hearts, minds and body politic of Tamils abroad and at home. Fortunately, they live far apart in Western democracies. If they were fighting in Sri Lanka they would have liquidated each other by now, with the Catholic Church holding a memorial services for Fr. Emmanuel and the other victims.

Tamil expats sitting in New York, London, Toronto, Paris, Sydney etc believe that they can remote control the Tamils of the north and east and the political agenda of Sri Lanka with press communiquƒÆ’†’ƒ”š‚©s, lobbying in Western corridors of power, and demonstrations in Western capitals. Of course, they did play a critical role in backing Prabhakaran financially and in mobilizing Western agencies to restrain the hands of the Sri Lankan government. They even pressured David Milliband and Richard Kouchner to go on a mission of rescuing Prabhakaran who was holed up in Nandikadal with no exit strategy. But where did all their stunts take them? Sri Lanka won against all the forces of the Tamil expats, some of whom even committed suicide to pressure the international community to save Prabhakaran.

The latest offensive was in Australia when the Tamil expats threw all their money to beat Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Heads of Government conference held in Perth. They were cock sure that they could indict President Mahinda Rajapakse and bring him to court. They also maneuvered, with all their resources, to prevent Sri Lanka holding the next CHOGM conference. Once again it was proved that their ambitions far exceed their ability to achieve them. Sri Lanka beat them hollow. Mahinda Rajapakse came home triumphantly with all what he wanted.

Other than building castles in the air what have the Tamil expats achieved? Have they ever sat down and assessed realistically what they had achieved other than embarrassing the government from time to time? The best leverage they had was in the violence they financed. They lost that too after May 2008. Can mere stunts of running across cricket fields, demonstrations, lobbying parliamentarians, funding AI and other NGOs (AI admitted receiving $50,000 from Canadian Tamil Congress) bring them closer to the political goals outlined in the Vadukoddai Resolution?

When they lost Prabhakaran the Tamil expats lost their weapon of mass destruction that could have tilted the outcome in their favour. The combined force of Prabhakaran and the Tamil expats was a formidable force. However, without Prabhakaran, or a militant force on the ground, the Tamil expats are reduced to a bunch of noise-makers without any significant clout to determine events in Sri Lanka.

Their profile and importance grew in proportion to PrabhakaranƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢s power. Without him they are losing steam everyday with the government moving towards rapid economic development. Besides, the post-war issues they cranked up ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢¢”š¬…” the IDPs in the Menik Farm etc., the accusations about the last days of the anti-terrorist war, the resettlement of IDPs etc., — have lost their credibility with the government resettling the IDPs. They are now forced to perform stunts to make their presence felt among the expats and in Sri Lanka. Their first front led by Prabhakaran went down Nandikadal. Their second front abroad is in shambles with stuntmen firing damp squibs in the air.

Jeremy Liyanage, Director, Diaspora Lanka, who works with grassroot NGOs in Sri Lanka, told a Melbourne audience after his last visit to Mannar and Puttalam he discovered that the average Tamil in the north and the east totally reject the self-serving political agenda of the Tamil expats. The pragmatic Tamils left behind are sick and tired of divisive politics and the violence that goes with it. They are bent on picking up the pieces of their shattered lives and move on, move ahead. But the political agenda of the Tamil expats is still focused on dragging the Tamils back in the Terroristan of Prabhakaran.

The Tamil expats who financed and glorified the fascist terror of Prabhakaran are equally guilty of the crimes committed by their ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-Sooriya DevanƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚. Prabhakaran could not have committed those crimes without their finances. The biased focus of the international community has been only on the last days of the war conducted by the Sri Lankan forces. Why havenƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t they focused on war criminals like Adele Balasingham, who by any international standards (example: Nuremberg trials) should stand trial for being an active and willing partner in the crimes of the Tamil Tigers? Since terror was exported from the West by the affluent Tamil doctors, academics, NGO propagandists and other abettors of the Tamil Tigers why should they be allowed to go scot free?

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ At the end of World War II Britain hanged Lord Haw-Haw (William Joyce, an America) for broadcasting Nazi propaganda from Berlin, despite the defence lawyers arguing in court that he was not a British citizen. IsnƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ¢-¾‚¢t it time that Sri Lanka picked a leaf from the justice meted out by the great democracies to their enemies and applied it to the local Lord Haw-Haws, including Jehan Perera, ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-PakiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ Saravanmuttu etc? ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-PakiƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ was making a desperate bid in the last stages of the war, flying from Western capital to capital, to save Prabhakaran. And yet he has the audacity to end his latest propaganda blast in his website, Groundviews, asking whether ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-pigs can flyƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚?

The Tamil expats commitment to terrorist violence is written all over the Parisian stamps. They will continue to try other stunts even though they are doomed to end up like Prabhakaran. It is these stunts that excite the Tamil expats and make them believe that they can force Sri Lanka to give into their demands. Any sign of Sri Lanka giving into Tamil demands will encourage the Tamil expats to go on the rampage. They will see it as a sign of weakness and push for more. They will not be appeased by little Police powers and little land powers. They will go for the whole hog. They will stamp all over Sri Lanka and before long their foot will be on the necks of those who give into the ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-little now and more laterƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ demands of Tamil Oliver Twists.

ANYONE would say such nice things to get money from NGOs coming with presents.

But ask them to DO SOMETHING to defend SL or show PRACTICALLY that they are against Tamil Elam BS, NO ONE of them will do it!

Come the election day and they will vote for TNA eyes closed!

    This is the reality.

Unable to beat the Taliban, USA is now giving money to the Taliban. They hand over weapons and LAMBASTE the Taliban. But the next day they are back in war with money given to their families to live!

Even before 1 year had passed ordinary Tamils voted for TNA after sacrificing so much and so many lives to save them from TNA (LTTE)!!

Hundreds of thousands Tamils thonged to see Premadasa in 1960s in Jaffna when he granted development work but ALL of them voted for ITAK at the next elections. Similarly hundreds of thousands fought to see Sirima when she gave the world’s only Tamil only university in Jaffna but come the election, ALL of them voted for TULF racists.

    This is a RECURRING theme.

Relying on Tamils to bring lasting peace to the north is FOOLISH. That will NEVER happen. Instead have Muslims and Sinhalese take over the north as the majority. Then there will be peace and TNA will be history.

  2. thurai Says:

Enemy of Tamils live among Tamils not anywhere. Tamils belongs to Sri Lanka. Sri Lnakans Tamils not belongs to
TNA. Only Voters who are brain washed by politicians from North and east are belongs to TNA. TNA and their
supporters want Power for Tamil Laguage to save their status only, not to save Tamils.
We need community Balance and peaceful life in the north and east if TNA demands more power.

  3. Lorenzo Says:

    Thurai,

True. But it is the Tamil people who should DIVORCE TNA. They married them, and they MUST divorce them.

Is that too much to ask?

If Tamil people REALLY divorce the TNA, ALL Pradeshiya Sabhas won by TNA with a MASSIVE majority can be dissolved right now.

We can FORCEFULLY break up their marriage since 1947 as we did in 1979 temporarily (JRJ banned TULF which meant ALL north east Tamil parties). But at least now Tamil people MUST come forward to DIVORCE the TNA.

If they fail to do so, they will suffer the consequences.

e.g. If I associate an underworld gang even peacefully, my days would be numbered. It doesn’t matter I don’t do any crimes they do.

Dear Tamil people, don’t vote for TNA, ACTC, ITAK, TULF, any other “T” crap. Instead vote for UNP. No one says UNP is a terrorist or racist party in the north now.

Do it by action. Words don’t count.

    Dear Mr. Mahindapala

Very happy to hear from you. We have noticed a balant disregard by Tamils living in Western Countries & in Australia with respect to being a loyal citizen of that NEWLY adopted country. If they are so happy living abroad, as the country they were born DISCRIMINATE…then why on EARTH do they embarass govts & postal services of Small Brtain, Canada & France.

THIS shows even GIVEN ample opportunity to forget about their past & be good law abiding citizens has fallen to deaf ears.

As French in Canada said lilttle now & evnetually more than the majority population of Canada. Finally this recent election gave the ANSWER, no more benefits, grants, GIFTS to please FRENCH Quebec. Be part of Canada or else. Somehow by passing the CLARITY ACT in the Parliament, other provincial & territorial leaders in unison with any Govt. of the day, the SEPARATIST cause is subsided.

We have given these tamils too much already with a population less tha n 10%, demands should be minimum NOT this large scale unattinable demands WHICH NO COUNTRY in the workd would give. Look at East Africa, they were kicked out for interfereing in the respective countries.

We should INSIST on TNA take Oath of allegiance to Sri lanka, before ANY talks resume and a law should be passed to punish anyone who advocate violence against the State. If they are UNHAPPY leave our shores & NEVER come back. Their Sri lankan citizenships MUST be revoked.

Without such measures, THESE arm chair tamils will continue to embarass NOT only Sri lanka, but also the present countries they live in. I wish you & othe iinterlectuals MEET President HE Rajapaksha and explain the gravity of th situation. INDIA can bark all they want, being a MESSENGER for the West, BUT SRI Lanka is for Sri Lankans who RESPECT their motherland.

    Lorezo,
It is not possible to change the Hostory within some years which is more than 500 years old. The situation now the Tamils are facing is created by themself. No one can help them unless they realise their mistake. Now it is clear
to all only TNA and their supporters are responsible to the problems Sri Lanka face now. Not others.
How many percent of Tamils voted to TNA in Sri Lanka? Do TNA represent only Tamils from North and East?
Do they need wealthy and safty life for Tamils who live upto Galle or Only the voters from North and East.
It is clearly indicate their selfishness policy of TNA from Thanthai Selva to Sampanthan.

  6. Naram Says:

Excellent pieceof Writing Mr Mahindapala. Yesterday I heard in the radio an old footage from the humanitarian of highist credentials, Lord Bertrund Russel speaking about Germany in the days following 2nd world war.

He was asked how the Germans should be treated. In no uncertain terms he replied that the former leaders should be put down though he had immense respect for the German nation and the brilliant future prospects for the youngsters.

We Sri Lankans should not habour any illusions about the credentials of bankrupt TNA leadership or the other leaders who are still dancing in their pockets. The recent comment by a group of ‘Tamil Intellectuals’ shouls remind Sri Lankans that Tamil fascism is not dead yet, nor do want its mirror image to rise in the rest of the country.

  7. Raj Says:

What Larenzo says is abso;utely right. Muslimsand Sinhalese should be given incentives to move to North and East. Similarly Tamils should be transferred to the South and their voting places should be where they work. It should be called ‘ethnic desegregation’and it is perfectly legitimate.
‘Desegregation is the process of ending the separation of two groups usually referring to races. This is most commonly used in reference to the United States. Desegregation was long a focus of the American Civil Rights Movement, both before and after the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Brown v. Board of Education, particularly desegregation of the school systems and the military (See Military history of African Americans). Racial integration of society was a closely related goal’ (Wikipedia)

  8. Lorenzo Says:

    Raj,

Thank you. A productive discussion. This new knowledge to me.

DESEGREGATION is as important as the other thing – ethnic integration!

So we have to do 2 things.

    1. Tamils in Jaffna, Vanni and Batticaloa districts should be DESEGREGATED and settled in Sinhala/Muslim majority areas.

    2. Muslims and Sinhalese should be settled in Jaffna, Vanni and Batticaloa districts.

#1 has happened to some extent in Colombo BUT unfortunately now it has gone beyond ethnic integration into segregation again in Colombo. This MUST be changed.

  9. Lorenzo Says:

    Thurai,

It is not something that will change.

So we have to seek a solution OUTSIDE the Tamil society while FORCING Tamils to give up TNA dirt.

Tamils in Jaffna, Vanni and Batticaloa districts should be DESEGREGATED and settled in Sinhala/Muslim majority areas. At the same time Muslims and Sinhalese should be settled in these districts.

TNA, GTF, BTF, Tamil Nut, other “T”s will call it FORCEFUL DISPLACEMENT of Tamils. FINE! Don’t give a rat’s a*se. JUST DO IT.

Displace them from their “traditional homelands” by force and settle them in Sinhala/Muslim majority areas!

Then settle Sinhalese and Muslims in these districts. TNA, GTF, BTF, Tamil Nut, other “T”s will call it STRUCTURAL GENOCIDE of Tamils. FINE! Don’t give a rat’s a*se. JUST DO IT.

TNA voters are the PROBLEM. So no need to appease them. WEAKEN them. Disperse them throughout the country and make them powerless.

TNA won 4% of the vote. Insignificant nationally but VERY significant regionally – in Jaffna, Vanni, Batticaloa. This can be further DILUTED by desegregation and integration.

This is what the reconciliation fools should be doing without bulls*it.

  10. Lorenzo Says:

Desegregate, Desegregate, Desegregate Tamils in the north and east.

Integrate, Integrate, Integrate Sinhalese and Muslims in place.

This will be extremely unpopular among northern Tamils. TNA will commit suicide! Self immolation. Tamil Nadu will go mad. Tamil Diaspora will take to the streets. NGOs and the peace mafia will agitate. US, EU and other jokers who do this in their own countries will make strongly worded BS. But our caravan should push on.

  11. Lorenzo Says:

    TamilNut editor is reading Lankaweb.

“‘Structural genocide will be complete in Mullaiththeevu in 2 years if TNA fails to act’

    [TamilNet, Sunday, 15 January 2012, 14:01 GMT]

Uprooted Tamils from the strategic Ma’nalaa’ru region in Vanni, bordering the Mullaiththeevu and Trincomalee districts, have complained that 1,500 acres of their fertile lands northwest of Kokku’laay lagoon, have not been handed over to them. The agricultural lands that belong to the Tamil civilians of Kokku’laay, Kokkuth-thoduvaay and Karainaadduk-kea’ni villages still remain occupied by the Sri Lankan military since December 1984 when the SLA forcibly expelled the Tamils from these villages. TNA parliamentarians Mavai Senathirajah and S. Sritharan visited the uprooted villagers on a fact finding mission on Friday. The occupation of the fertile lands, lying between the Kokku’laay lagoon in the east and Kent and Dollar Farms in the southwest, is one of the major threats of the territorial integrity of the Tamil country.

    Desegregation and integration in action.

Push on. No let up PLEASE. 2 years is too long. Do it in 2 months. Hand it over to capable SLA.
A temple of General Janaka Perera should be built here. Its festival should be on 15 August the day we wiped out 500+ terrorists here in 1995.

Bloody terrorists! These pimps have the audacity to say “The occupation of the fertile lands, lying between the Kokku’laay lagoon in the east and Kent and Dollar Farms in the southwest, is one of the major threats of the territorial integrity of the Tamil country.” And 1984.

That is why TNA/TULF carried out the Kent and Dollar Farms massacre in 1984!

    NOT LTTE.

  12. Christie Says:

I agree to some extent with the writer’s last paragraph. But giving land powers to Tamils is not a little give away. Land is the most valuable and powerful commodity for any living thing, be it flora or fauna. The 13th Amendment should be abolished and privileges enjoyed by Tamils and Indians in business, education, language and professions, should be removed. To this end Sinhalese, Muslims, burghers and Malays should unite and Indian intervention in the island nation should be wiped out now, that the Indian terrorists outfit has been wiped out from the island.

We should not give or have given any attention to Tamil terrorist’ stamps. GOSL should not have officially responded. These private affairs of terrorists and their supporting Socialist West should have been ignored. The majority in the West do not support Tamil terrorists’ this type of abuses. Like what happened with Canadian highway protests the silent majority of the West will say to these terrorists ‘f–k off to where you came from’.

Going back to the article his pedigree of Tamil terrorism is simple. Privileged Tamil leaders did not provide proper leadership and their sons took up arms. Later priviledged Tamils and NGO’s from the West supported them. Can he name a few please?

Writer has conveniently left out 1958 Tamil terrorism. In 1958 Tamil terrorists killed hundreds if not thousands of Sinhalese living in Jaffna and chased away the rest. Some dead bodies of Sinhalese were sent to Kandy instead of dead fish. Naga Vihara was destroyed and famous Buddha statue of Nagadeepa was dragged in to the deep sea. At that time Mrs. Bandaranayke was probably enjoying home delivered “saivar shapatus” with her three children.

The article is also void of any Indian involvement or the Indian imperialists and colonists. Are the sacsred? Who trained Tamils terrorists in Palestine camps and in Tamil Nadu India. The writer is doing a professional job in washing the Indian blood off the skin befre stuffing the Tamil terrorists skin and applying the Western spray.

How did Adele Ann Wiby ended up as Mrs Balasingham and is she the only Westerner to do so. During the same time India was tarining and arming terrorists it was providing necesaary material and support to Tamil terrorists to prey on the naive an unsophisticated young girls from Australia, Canada etc. These girls were Socialists and mainly nurses and teachers etc. Adle is not the only girl to be caught by their traps, there were a number of them. I amd sure the writer could enlighten us.

Parabakaran was just a puppet of India and its intelligence Service the Third Eye. I have made many a comments on this and I will take the opportunity to explain another aspect Indian Imperialism and Colonialism.

When did these “Tamil expats: (Tamil Terrorists) became expats. That is after the 1983 massacre of 13 unarmed, off duty officers by the Tamil terrorists the Indian armed, trained and managed terrorist outfit.

ALL NATIONS ISSUE STAMPS EITHER TO COMMEMORATE AN IMPORTANT EVENT OR RECOGNISE CULTURAL ACHIEVEMENTS OR TO HONOUR RESPECTED LEADERS OF THEIR RESPECTIVE NATIONS etc.

WHAT THE TIGER TERRORISTS SUPPORTERS HAVE DONE IS TO EQUATE THIS MONSTER NAMED VELUPILLAI PRABAKARAN TO THE RESPECTED AND ADMIRED LEADERS OF THOSE NATIONS.

DOES NOT THIS MEAN THAT THE LTTE WHILST ENJOYING THE HOSPITALITY OF THESE NATIONS, HAVE NOW INSULTED THEM BY LOWERING THE STATUS OF THEIR LEADERS TO THAT OF A SADISTIC TERRORIST?

IS NOT THIS TYPICAL BEHAVIOUR OF THESE SEPARATISTS, WHICH THE SRI LANKANS HAVE EXPERIENCED FOR MANY DECADES AND DISHED OUT TO OTHER NATIONS?

  14. A. Sooriarachi Says:

(President Rajapaksa has promised Indian External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna the full implementation of the 13th Amendment plus.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa has promised visiting Indian Minister of External Affairs S.M Krishna that the government will deliver on its promise to implement the 13th Amendment plus, Krishna told a press briefing today.

“I discussed this matter with His Excellency the President. The President assured me that he stands by his commitment to pursuing the 13th Amendment plus approach,” he said.

He further stated that the Sri Lankan government hoped to extend the 13th amendment to include comprehensive devolution of powers. “The Government of Sri Lanka has on many occasions conveyed to us its commitment to move towards a political settlement based on the full implementation of the 13th Amendment to the Sri Lankan Constitution, and building on it, so as to achieve meaningful devolution of powers,” he said.

However both the visiting Minister and the Lankan Minister of External Affairs Prof. G.L. Peries noted that no time frame had been fixed for the implementation of the 13th Amendment plus.)

    Ouch!
