Let’s assume the Common candidate Maithripala Sirisena whose dishonest past initially with the rice mills saga given a white wash by the multiparty panel as the Mr. Clean qualifies as the best pick to contest at the forth coming Presidential elections prevails!
Being the General Secretary of the SLFP who should have the courage to pin point the humongous maladministration in the government failed to steer the government in the correct path confirms he is a weakling to become a President.
If the present government with 2/3rd majority didn’t abolish the Executive Powers or couldn’t due to good reasons known to them, the future President must be confident to muster 2/3rd majority to honour the pledge. Remember he has executive powers for 100days, within that time he can do wonders. Alternatively the cunning minds may have the hidden agenda to go for a referendum to abolish executive powers no sooner chosen leader assumes power. His task is twofold that is to abolish Presidents executive powers and simultaneously install same powers in PM his appointee Ranil!
Now it’s worthwhile to analyze this character Ranil!
Country all over knows he is a failed leader for twenty nine elections giving a bye in last Presidential election not to chalk the thirtieth loss. His relations with CBK while she was the President and he being PM was not at all cordial although they have joined forces to oust MR who they believe the misfit from Ruhuna!
The strange conundrum arising now is when everybody in the country rejected him at every election and all socialist, Marxist parties despises his policies and style of governing yet the multiparty panel who proposed the common candidate also chose Ranil as most suitable to be installed as the PM.
Surely,if Patali Champika Ranawaka is not good enough Kuru & Sajith fits the bill!.
This is ludicrous, they all brand him as a Traitor whenever he comes out with a smart proposal and best of them all is to celebrate 500 years of Portuguese arrival, bunch of hypocrites who should be dealt with no sooner he assumes the Thrown!

I think the defectors have changed the game plan after threats .because mr is saying he has files.
it is beneficial for my3 if these guys stay in government until next parliament election because these would be defectors will not be not working wholeheartedly for the election win of mahinda.
they will just show the face to mr and stay inactively during election runup to ensure ms win.
if they defect now MR WILL APPONIT NEW people .they will work with new vigour if appointed.so, it is better for ms to keep the upfa positions occupied with inactive people.
so it is advantageous for MS to keep this would be defectors in the government side and get them elected from upfa ticket .after the election they can crossover to my3.in this way he an get 2/3 majority to change the constitution.

බොදු බල සේනාව ජයගැනීම
මෛත්‍රීපාලනයක් චන්ද ව්‍යාපාරය බොදු බල සේනාව ලැබූ ජයග්‍රහණයක් බව පෙනෙන්නේ “පරණ ප්‍රශ්ණම අසමින් අළුත් උත්තර සපයන අයට නොව, ඒ වෙනුවට අළුත් ප්‍රශ්ණ ඇසීමට සූදානම් අයටය.” රනිල් ඉල්ලන්න බය ඇයි වෙනුවට කරු ජයසූරියව දාන්න හැදුවේ ඇයි කියා ඇසුවොත් එය අපව කුමාර් ඩේවිඩ් නම් ක්‍රිස්තියානි මාක්වාදියාගේ මාදුළුවාවේ සෝභිත ඒක චන්ද යෝජනාවට ගෙන යයි. 2003 දෙසැම්බර් සෝම හාමුදුරුවන්ගේ ඝාතනයට පසුව සිංහල බෞද්ධ බලවේගය මතු පිටට ගෙනාවේ 2006 සැප්තැම්බර් මාවිල් ආරු ඇනිකට් එක මුදා ගැනීමත් සමගය. එහෙත් 2009 මැයි 19 දාට පසුව පුදුම විධියට ක්‍රමයෙන් එය යටගියේ දේශපාලකයෙකුට “රාජ ඌෂ්ණය” අනිසි ලෙස වැදී පරාර්‌ථකාමී වෙනුවට දැඩි ලෙස අත්මාර්‌ථකාමී වීම නිසා විය යුතුය. සිංහල බෞද්ධ චන්දයෙන් බලයට ආ රාජපක්‍ෂ ජනාධිපති 2010 චන්දයෙන් පසුව කළුසුද්දන්ගේ බහු ජාතික, සර්‍වාගමික පූට්ටුවට අසුවීමෙන් පසුව, බෞද්ධ බලය නැවත අළුයටින් මතුවූයේ ඥානසාර හාමුදුරුවන්ගේ ඝර්‍ජනා නිසාය. මෙම ඝර්‍ජනා වලට බයවු ජනාධිපති පෝප්ගේ පිහිට සොයා ගියේය. මුස්ලිම් මිනිසුන්ට මක්කමට යෑමට උදව් කිරීමට යෝජනා කලේය.
හිත හොඳ ගෑණු
1948 න් පසුව සිට ලංකාවේ දේශපලන පක්‍ෂ නායකයින් විසින් සිංහල බෞද්ධයින්ට සලකා ඇත්තේ පිරිමින් හිත හොඳ ගෑණුන්ට සලකන ආකාරයට බව ප්‍රසිද්ධ වේදිකාවට ගෙනාවේ බොදු බල සේනාවය. මෙම සැලකිල්ල එහි අනිත් අන්තයටම යෑම රෝමයට ගොස් පෝප්ට යාඥා කිරීමෙන් පෙනේ. සිංහල බෞද්ධයින්ට පමණක් නොව හාමුදුරුවරුන්ටද පිට කොන්ඳක් අවශ්‍ය බව බොදු බල සේනාව ඒත්තු ගැන්වූයේ ය. කුමාර් ඩේවිඩ් ගෙන් ඇරඹුණ මේ ක්‍රිස්තියානි-මාක්ස්වාදී කළුසුද්දන්ගේ ව්‍යාපාරයේ වෙස්වලාගත් භාග්‍යය මෛත්‍රීපාල සිරිසේනව තෝරා ගැනීමය. මීට වඩා සුදුසු සිංහල බෞද්ධයෙක් ලංකාවේ නැත. ඔහු ලවා සිංහල බෞද්ධ මධ්‍යම ප්‍රතිපදාව හා සාධාරණත්‌වයේ නාමයෙන්‌ 13-ඒ අහෝසි කිරීම කරගන්නවාද නැද්ද යන්න රඳා තිබෙන්නේ සිංහල බෞද්ධ බලවේගයේ, විශේෂයෙන්ම බොදු බල සේනාවේ ප්‍රතික්‍රියාව මතය.
මහසෙන් රජතුමා
සිංහල බෞද්ධයාට විරුද්ධ අය ලෙස රනිල් හා චන්ද්‍රිකා (හා මංගල, රාජිත) හංවඩු ගැසී ඇත්තේ ඔවුන් රට කඩන්නට ක්‍රියා කල නිසාය. චන්ද්‍රිකාගේ ජී එල්-නීලන් පැකේජ් ඩීල්, 2002 පෙබරවාරි සටන් විරාම ගිවිසුම, 2002 දෙසැම්බර් ජී එල්-බාලසිංහම් ඔස්ලෝ පෙඩරල් ගිවිසුම, 2003 නොවැම්බර් අන්තර්‌වාර ස්වයංපාලන අධිකාරිය (අයි එස් ජී ඒ), 2005 ජූනි පීටොම්ස් මගඩිය මීට උදාහරණය. මෙවැනි ක්‍රියා අතීතයේ සිදුවූයේ බොදු බල සේනාව වැනි බලවේගයක් නොතිබීමත්, නව ගුණ වැල් වලින් කළුසුද්දන්ගේ ක්‍රිස්තියානි රට කැඩීමේ ව්‍යාපාර බැඳ දමන්නට හැකිය කියා සෝම හාමුදුරුවන් සිතූ නිසාත් ය. 1948න් පසු ඉතිහාසයේ කවදාවත් සිදු නොවූ ආකාරයට මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂ නමැත්තාගේ හැසිරීම මහසෙන් රජුගේ සිද්ධියට සමාන කරන්නේ ඔහුට විරුද්ධව ක්‍රියා කිරීමට සිංහල බෞද්ධයාගේ ඇති අකමැත්ත නිසාය. එසේ වුවත් ලංකාව විනාශ කරණ 13-ඒ දකුණ්දී තමන්ගේ පුද්ගලික වාසියට යොදා ගැනීමත්, උතුරේදී එය රට දෙකඩ කඩන ඉණිමඟක් ලෙස යොදා ගැනීමට ඉඩදීමත් නිසා යුද්ධ ජය පුස්ස බින්ඳක් බවට පෙරළී ඇත.
රට දෙකට කැඩීම = (රනිල්+චන්ද්‍රිකා+මහින්ද)
මේ නිසා 1921 කාලයේ සිටම ලංකාව මුහුණදුන් රට කැඩීයාමේ උවදුර දැන් 2014 දී නැතිව ගොස් නැත. හසලක වීරයින් දිවි දුන්නේ බෝම්බ නැතිකිරීමටද, රට දෙකඩ කිරීම වැලැක්වීමටද යන ප්‍රශ්ණය අප ඇසුවොත් ඒ දෙකම නැවත හිස ඔසවමින් පවතී. මෙසේ නම් රනිල්, චන්ද්‍රිකා හා මහින්ද අතර විශාල වෙනසක් දැන් නැත. මෙවැනි පසු බිමක් යටතේ රට සම්පූර්‍ණයෙන්ම අගාධයට වැටෙමින් තිබියදී හුදෙක් යුද්ධ කීර්තිනාමය උඩ චන්දය දිනා ගැනීමට රාජපක්‍ෂ මහතාට ඉඩක් නැත. ඔහු අන්තවාදියෙක් වී ඇත.
ඉහගෙන කෑම හා බාගෙන කෑම
බුද්ධාගමේ මධ්‍යම ප්‍රතිපදාව යයි කියන්නේ ඉහගෙන කන්නේ නැතිව බාගෙන කනවා කියන එකටද? “කනවා” යන්නෙන් නරක අර්‌ථයක් ද්වනිත වුවත් (හොරකම් කරනවා) ලංකාවේ දේශපාලක හොරුන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් සිතා බලන විට, ඔවුන් අඩු ගණනේ බාගෙන කනවා පමණක් නම් එය මධ්‍යස්ථ එනම්, ටිකක් හෝ සමාව දිය හැකි හැසිරීමක් කියා, දැන් ලංකාවේ තිබෙන ඉතාමත් දූෂිත තත්‌වය යටතේ වර්‍ග කල හැකිය. “පවර් කරප්ට්ස්, ඇබ්සොලියුට් පවර් කරප්ට්ස් ඇබ්සොලියුට්ලි” යන කියමන කෙතරම් මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂ මහතාට බලපෑවාද කියතොත්, එම්පරර් හෙළුවෙන් කියා මෛත්‍රීපාල සිරිසේන විසින්ම ඔහුට පෙන්වා දී ඇත. ඉහගෙන කනවා යන්න මෙතෙක් යෙදුනේ දේපල, මුදල් ආදියට ය. නමුත් දැන් එය හැම අංශවලටම (උසාවි වලට නඩු කාරයින් පත් කිරීම, තානාපතිලා පත් කිරීම, මන්ත්‍රීලාට මුදල් වෙන් කිරීම, පාරවල් හැදීම) පැතිරී උඩුදුවා ගොස් ඇති බව පෙනේ.
බැසිල්ට ගිය රට
ගාල්ලේ පැවති බොදු බල සේනා රැස්වීමකදී, ඥානසාර හාමුදුරුවන්, ඇමති බැසිල්, මන්නාරම පැත්තේ බතිුර්දීන් නම් මුස්ලිම් ඇමතිට විල්පත්තු වන රක්‍ෂිතය, නිලධාරි පෙන්‌දන් හරහා එලිකර ගැනීමට ඉඩ දී තිබීම ගැන ප්‍රශ්ණ කලේ “මේක බැසිල්ට ගිය රටද?” කියාය. ඊට හේතුව තමන් බොදු බල සේනාවට තමන් බය නැතැයි බැසිල් කියා තිබීමය. බැසිල්ගේ මේ රටට අහිතකර හිතුවක්කාර වැඩ (ඉහගෙන කෑම) ගැන දැන් එලිවෙන්නේ රජීව විජේසිංහ විසින් කලම්බු ටෙලෙග්‍රාෆ් වෙබ් අඩවියේ නොවැම්බර් 20 දා බැසිල් ගැන ලියා ඇති ලිපිය මඟින් ය. මහජන ශුභ සිද්ධිය උදෙසා රාජ්‍ය පරිපාලන හා සැලසුම් කටයුතු කරගෙන යාමට බැසිල්ට විස්ඩම් (ඥානය?) හා කැපවීමක් නැතැයි කියමින් රජීව ඔහුගේ ලිපිය අවසාන කර ඇත.
රජීව ලියුමෙන් හා මෛත්‍රීපාල පොදු අපේක්‍ෂකයා සේ කල කථාවෙන් පෙනී යන්නේ ඒ දෙන්නාට එකිනෙකට වෙනස් සමාජ පසුබිම් ඇති දෙන්නෙක් වශයෙන් රාජපක්‍ෂලා දෙන්නෙකුගෙන් මුහුණ දීමට සිදුවූ හිරිහැර හා මානසික පීඩනයන් ය. කවි කොල කාරයෙකුගේ පුතෙක් වූ ජනක බණ්ඩාර ඇමතිද කුඩු කාරයින් හා එතොනෝල් කාරයින් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ඒමෙන් වන විනාශය ගැන වේදනාවෙන් කතා කලේය. දුප්පත් මිනිසුන්ට ගෙවල් සදා දීමට ගොඩ කල ඉඩමක් රතන හාමුදුරුවන්ට අසපුවකට දුන්නේ ඇයි. වෙන ඉඩමක් තිබුණේ නැද්ද? දැන් ආපසු ඒ ඉඩම ගන්න හදන්නේ ඇයි? රතන හාමුදුරුවන්ට දුන් ඉඩම ආපසු ගන්නට සැදීම හා සුප්‍රිම් කෝට් තීන්දුව සැඟවීම සිහිවිකල්වූ හැසිරීමක් පෙන්වා දේ. කෙහෙලියරඹුක්වැල්ල කියන්නේ මිනිසුන් රතන හාමුදුරුවන් ගැන කිපී ඇති නිසා ආණ්ඩුවට කල හැකි දෙයක් නැත කියාය! මේවා ශීග්‍ර පරිහාණියක ලක්‍ෂණය. රාජිතගේ පැන ගැනීමෙන් පෙනෙන්නේ ආණ්ඩුව කොට උඩ යන බව ඔහුට පෙනී යාමය. ඔහු ශූක්‍ෂම දේශපාලන බට්ටෙකි.
ඉඹුල්ගොඩ වීරයා
එස් ඩී බණ්ඩාරනායක 1956 දී අගමැති බණ්ඩාරනායකට කල යෝජනා දෙකෙන් එකක් වූයේ විරුද්ධ පක්‍ෂද එකතු කරගෙන ආණ්ඩුවක් පිහිටුවන ලෙසය. ආසන අටට බැස්සත් රටේ චන්ද වලින් සියේට 35 ක් පමණ යූ එන් පී එකට තිබුණේය. අගමැති ඊට එකඟ නොවූ නිසා එස් ඩී ඇමති ධූරයක් භාර ගැනීම ප්‍රතික්‍ෂේප කලේය. මෙම සිද්ධිය මෙහි සඳහන් කලේ 1964 දී සී පී ද සිල්වා යූ එන් පී එකට කඩා ගෙන ගියාට වඩා වෙනස් තත්‌වයක් මෛත්‍රීපාල පොදු අපේක්‍ෂකයා ලෙස ඉදිරිපත්වීමෙන් මතුවන බවය. මෙය පරණ ශ්‍රී ලංකා පාක්‍ෂිකයින් හා යූ එන් පී එකත් වෙනත් නොයෙක් පක්‍ෂත් එකතුව ජාතික ආණ්ඩුවක් පිහිටුවීමේ ආරම්භයක් විය හැකි නිසාය. ඩඩ්ලි සමඟ ගැටුම් තිබූ සමයේ 1972 දී ජේ ආර් ද මෙසේ සිරිමාවෝ සමඟ ජාතික ආණ්ඩුවක් සැදීමට තැත් කලේය.
සිංහල ජාතිය පාවාදීම
ප්‍රේමදාසගේ ලේකම් වශයෙන් ප්‍රසිද්ධවු කේ එච් ජේ විජයදාස විසින් (2005 අප්‍රියෙල්) ලියන ලද සිංහල ජාතිය පාවාදීම නම් පොතේ අන්තර්‌වාර ස්වයංපාලන අධිකාරිය (අයි එස් ජී ඒ) නම් ප්‍රභාකරන්ලාගේ යෝජනාවට (නොවැම්බර් 1, 2003) කැමතිවීම සිංහල ජාතිය පාවාදීමක් ලෙස සඳහන් කර ඇත. මෙම වැඩ වලට හවුල් වූයේ රනිල්, චන්ද්‍රිකා, ජී එල් පීරිස් යන අයය.
2001 දෙසැම්බර් චන්දය දිනා, 2002 ජනවාරි 2 දා අතුරුගිරියේ මිලේනියම් සිටි රහස් හමුදා ඒකකය පාවාදීම, 2002 පෙබරවාරි රනිල් ගේ සටන් විරාම ගිවිසුම, 2005 ජූනි පීටොම්ස් ගිවිසුම, 2002 දෙසැම්බර් ඔස්ලෝ ගිවිසුම යටතේ පෙඩරල් ක්‍රමය රනිල්-ජී එල් පීරිස් විසින් භාර ගැනීම මෙම පාවාදීම් වැලේ සන්‌ධි ස්ථානය. යුද හමුදාව හෑල්ලුකරමින් රනිල් කල කතා නිසා මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂට විරුද්ධව චන්දයකින් ජය ගැනීමට ඔහුට නොහැකිය. නමුත් රටේ සියේට 30 ක් වත් යූ එන් පී කාරයින් ය. චන්ද්‍රිකාට ඇත්තේද ඉතාමත් අසතුටුදායක වාර්තාවකි. නමුත් රටේ ගෑණු ඇයට චන්දය දීමට සූදානම් ය. මෛත්‍රීපාලගේ චන්ද ඉල්ලීම සලකා බැලිය යුතු මෙම පසුබිම යටතේය.
ගෝඨාභයගේ සේවය
1976 වඩ්ඩුකෝඩ්ඩෙයි ප්‍රකාශනය අනුව ප්‍රභාකරන්ගේ ජූලි 1985 තිම්පු ඉල්ලීම් ඉදිරිපත් විය. 2009 දී යුද්ධ බලයෙන් මේවා පරාද කරන ලද්දේ ගෝඨාභය හා ඔහු පිටිපසින් සිටි බෞද්ධ බලවේගය විසින් ය. මහින්ද ජනාධිපති වුවත් ගෝඨාභය වෙනුවට වෙන කෙනෙක් හිටියා නම් යුද්ධය ඔය ආකාරයට නිම වෙන්නේ නැත. එරික් සොල්හෙයිම් කිව්වේ “මේ යුද්ධය දිනන්න බෑ” නොකිව් එකම ඉහල කෙනා ගෝඨාභය බවය.
දේශපාලකයෙක් නොවූ ගෝඨාභයට වෙනස් ආකාරයට 2009 මැයි 19 දායින් පසු දේශපාලක මහින්ද හා බැසිල් ක්‍රියාකර ඇත. මේ දෙන්නා විසින් ලංකාව නැවතත් 1976 වඩ්ඩුකෝඩ්ඩෙයි කාලයට ගෙන ගොස් ඇත. එපමණක් නොව බහු ජාතික හා සර්‍වාගමික මඟුලක් බදා ගෙන ජනාධිපති හා සිහිවිකල් අගමැති සිංහල බෞද්ධයා එලිපිටම රවටන බවක්ද පෙනේ. පරණ ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්‍ෂය පාවාදී ඇත. ඊට අමතරව ඇත්තේ දූෂණ හා රටේ සදාචාරය බල්ලාට යාමය.
චන්ද දිනන්නේ කෙසේද?
2005 දී මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂ දිණුවේ බෞද්ධ බලවේගය හා ජේ වී පී ශ්‍රමය නිසාය. ජේ වී පී එක මාක්ස්වාදය අත නොහරිනතාක් එයට රටේ චන්ද බලයක් නැත. එයට ජාතික බලවේගයක් හා එක් නොවී ආසන දිනාගත නොහැක. දැන් මෛත්‍රීපාලට ලබා ගත හැකි චන්ද මොනවාද?
1. පරණ ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පාක්‍ෂිකයින් (පක්‍ෂයෙන් භාගයකට වඩා)

මෙම චන්ද ලබා ගැනීමේදී රනිල්ට අගමැති කම දෙනවා, චන්ද්‍රිකා නැවත වේදිකාවට එනවා, රාජිත ආයිත් ඔළුව දානවාද යන කියුම් වැදගත් නැත. ලංකාවේ චන්ද දායකයා ඒ තරම්ම ඥානවන්ත අය වූවා නම් මේ රට මේ තරම් අගාධයකට වැටේද? දැන් සිදුවී ඇති දේ නම් ඒ අය තරමටම සවුත්තු තැනකට මහින්ද හා බැසිල් ද වැටී සිටීමය. මේ නිසා දයාන් ජයතිලකගේ චන්ද සූත්‍රය අනුව වුවද මහින්ද අමාරුවේ වැටී ඇත. අපට ප්‍රශ්ණය වියයුත්තේ රට කැඩීම වලක්වන්නේ කෙසේද යන්නය.

මේ ගැන තම ආරම්භක කථාවේදී මෛත්‍රීපාල කතා කලේ නැත. ඊට හේතුව ඔහු 13-ඒ කාරයෙක් නිසා නොව යූ එන් පී එක 13-ඒ එකට පක්‍ෂ නිසාය. වෙනත් බොහෝ දේ අතහැරියා සේ රනිල් 13-ඒ එකද අතහැරීමට එකඟවනවා නිසැකය. එය බොදු බල සේනාව විසින් කරවා ගත යුතු දෙයකි. රනිල් එය අතහැරිය යුතු ඉහත සඳහන් විදේශිකයාගේ ප්‍රශ්ණය නිසාය. මේ රටේ දෙමල ජනයාට කිසිම වාසියක් 13-ඒ නිසා සිදුවී නැත. එය චෙල්වනායගම් ගෙන් දෙමල ජනයාට සිදුවූ යහපතක් නැත මෙන් මය. මේ රටේ සිංහල ජනයාට 13-ඒ මර උඟුලක්, සුදු අලියෙක්, වන්චර දේශපාලක පවුල් විසින් සූරා කෑමක් පමණක් විය.
ඉහතින් පෙන්වා දුන් ලබාගත හැකි චන්ද ලැයිස්තුවේ ටී එන් ඒ චන්ද, මුස්ලිම් චන්ද කුට්ටි දක්වා නැත. රනිල් 13-ඒ අල්ලා ගෙන ඉන්නේ ඒ චන්ද ලබා ගැනීමේ ආශවෙන් වන්නේ ලෝකයේ කිසිම ඒකීය රටක් බෙදා වෙන් කිරීමෙන් එක්සත් කර නැති නිසා බව ඔහු දන්නා නිසාය. ඒකිය රටක් එක්සත් කල නොහැකි නම් පෙඩරල් කර රටක් එක්සත් කල නොහැකිය. රටේ සිදුවිය යුත්තේ ගම් මට්ටමින් ජනතාවට බලය පවරා දීමය. මෙය කිරීමට ජන සභා ඩිරෙක්ටර් ජෙනරාල් තනතුරක් පවා ඇතිකල බැසිල් අන්තිමේ ඊට සමානව ඒ වන විට ක්‍රියාවේ යෙදෙමින් පැවති ගැමි දිරිය වැඩ සටහන කඩාකප්පල් කලේය. එය උතුරු හා නැඟෙනහිර පලාත් වල්ත් ක්‍රියාත්මක කරණු වෙනුවට ඔහු යෝධ නිලධාරි දිවි නැඟුමක් ආරම්භ කලේය. මෙය මහජනයාට බලය පැවරීමක් නොවේ.
රොබට් බ්ලේක් කියපු ආකාරයේ මීනින්ෆුල් ඩෙවෙලූෂන් හෝ දැන් ඉන්දියාවෙන් කියන තිරසර ඩෙවෙලූෂන් 13-ඒ මඟින් ඇති නොවේ. ඒ මඟින් ඇතිවන්නේ බෙදුම්වාදී දෙමල ටී එන් ඒ හොරුන් පිරිසකට දෙමල ජනයාව දිගටම කුලභේදය නමැති ගස් වල බැඳ තබා ගැනීමට ඉඩ ලබා දීමත් අවසානයේ ටැමිල් නාඩු හා ඔවුන්ගේ එකතු වීමත් ය. සංහිඳියා කොමිසමේ යෝජනා කල ගම් මට්ටමින් බලය පැවරීම ලලිත් වීරතුංග විසින් බැසිල් හා එක්ව යටගසා ඇත. 1994 යූ එන් පී මැතිවරණ ප්‍රකාශනයේ 11 වෙනි පිටුවේ දැක්වෙන ප්‍රතිපත්තිය 13-ඒ නැතිකිරීම නොකියා කීමකි. මේ නිසා ඉදිරි කාලය තුල රනිල්ට පාඩම් කියා දීම කජු කනවා වගේ වැඩකි. මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂ වෙනස් වීමට පෙර ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්‍ෂයේ ප්‍රතිපත්තිය වූයේ යූ එන් පී ප්‍රතිපත්තිය මය. එසේ නම් හැම දෙනාම අද වල්ගා පාගා ගෙන ඉන්නේ බලයට ඒමේ හෝ බලයේ සිටීමේ අධික තන්හාව නිසාය.
මේ පක්‍ෂ දෙක එකතු වුනොත් ටී එන් ඒ හා රාවුෆ් ලා පස්සේ යාමට අවශ්‍ය නැත. සරත් ෆොන්සේකා සවුත්තු වුනේ ටී එන් ඒ චන්ද කෑදර කමට ඔවුන්වද ගාවා ගැනීම නිසාය. සුළු ජාතිකයින්ට වෙනස් කම් නොකරන්නේ ඇමෙරිකාව හෝ ජිනීවා හෝ නිසා නොව සිංහල බෞද්ධයින් එසේ නොකරන බව ඉතිහාසයෙන් පෙන්විය හැකි නිසාය. මෙය කිරීමේ බලය හා අවස්ථාව දැන් ගම්බද, බොරුවට ඉංග්‍රීසියෙන් කථා කරන්නට නොහදන මෛත්‍රීපාල සිරිසේනට ලැබී ඇත. ඔහු 1971 දී හිරේට ද ගිය කෙනෙකි. ඔහු චන්ද්‍රිකාගේ පන්දමෙක් වී සිටියා නම් ඒ කාලයේ මහින්දද චන්ද්‍රිකා ගේ පන්දමෙකි. පීටොම් පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ගෙනාවේ ඔහුය! ජාතික හෙළ උරුමය හා බොදු බල සේනාව මෛත්‍රීපාලව ජනාධිපති කලයුතු මේ නිසාය. දැන් රටේ තිබෙන් තතවය අනුව 13-ඒ නැති කිරීමට රනිල් එකඟ වූ විට රනිල් හා මහින්ද අතර වෙනසක් නැත.
දෙමල ජනයාට ජන සභා යටතේ බලය පවරනවා නම් මිචෙල් සැසින් ලාට ලංකාවට කල හැකි දෙයක් නැත. ලංකාව පුරා විදේශ ඔත්තු සේවා ක්‍රියාකාරී වන බව නොදන්නේ කවුද? විමල් වීරවංශ ගේ මේ සින්දුව හුලං යන බැළුමක් සේ ය. ජාතික හෙළ උරුමය හා බොදු බල සේනාවට මෛත්‍රීපාලට වඩා සුදුසු නායකයෙක් මේ අවස්ථාවේ නැත. මේ අතර බොදු බල සේනාව මීලඟ පාර්ලිමේන්තු චන්දයට සුදානම් විය යුතුය.

Thank you Vimutti and Independent for clarifying for us what Chandrika meant by her statement “Tomorrow if the budget 2015 is not defeated, do not call her father a Bandaranaike” is really “Tomorrow if the budget 2015 is not defeated, do not call my father a Bandaranaike.”
Therefore, since the budget was NOT DEFEATED, we won’t call her the daghter of a Bandaranaike; so, whose daughter is she? Really, I mean?
Given that many of her DISGRACEFUL actions CONFIRM that she cannot be the true daughter of her alleged REVERED PATRIOTIC parents SWRD and Sirimavo Bandaranaike, has she accidentally revealed something we didn’t know about her parentage?

Sri Lanka 2015 budget passed in parliament with a majority of 95 votes

Nov 24, Colombo: Sri Lanka parliament today passed the government’s 2015 Appropriation Bill with a majority of 95 votes.
The Third Reading of the Appropriation Bill (2015) was passed by the House today bringing an an end to the Committee Stage Debate that commenced on Nov 03.
A division by name was taken and 152 votes were cast in favor of the Bill while 57 votes were cast against it.
The main opposition United National Party (UNP), Democratic National Alliance and the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) voted against the budget.
The proceedings of the Budget 2015, which started on October 24th 2014 when President Mahinda Rajapaksa in his capacity as the Minister of Finance presented the budget in parliament, ended today.

You have written a very good analysis but I believe no one reads it as most people have elated with the budget approval. This fear was imposed only by some rogue media but the crowd go scared , so now they are relieved like wining the war.
My question to you is, have you thought of Maithree not giving up EP as promised ? This too is a possibility. After general election, with a SLFP+JVP+JHU+BBS government and after stabilising the whole system he may do so. Then UNP will be gone for ever. People need not trust politicians talk. Action will be completely different.

My previous calculation was not accurate. I am using 2010 general election voting pattern. The percentage shift below refers to the one from Sinhala majority. I am assuming other races will be voting in the same percentages.
Colombo – as per 2010 – lost as it is
Gampaha, Kaluthara, Kandy, Galle , Matara, Hambantota, Kurunegala – 10% shift will be lost
Matale and Nuwara Eliya 5% shit will be gone
Puttalama, Anuradhapura – 11% shift will be lost
Polonnaruwa , Ratnapura, Kegalle – 16% shift will be gone
Monaragala – best so far but 20% shift will be gone
Badulla -3% shift will be gone to opposition
This shows how important the Sinhala vote is.
