‘හරාකිරි*’ සිංහලයෝ

තිස්ස ගුණතිලක, සිඞ්නි නුවර සිට
සිංහල භාෂාව මියයමින් ඇති බවත් ඒ සමගම සිංහල ජාතියද මියන බවත් බටහිරයන්ගේ පොත්වල සඳහන්ය. මොවුන් සිංහල දේශයත් බෙෳද්ධාගමත් තිස්තුන් කෝටියක් දෙවි දේවතාවුන් රකිනා බව නොදනිති. තිස්තුන් කෝටියක් දෙවිවරැ විසින් මේ සිංහල දේශය එනම් බෙෳද්ධයන් මිලියන පහලොවකට වඞා සිටිනා රට රකිනවා යනු එක් බෙෳද්ධයෙකුව දෙවිවරැ දෙදහස් දෙසීයක් විසින් රැකගැනීමයි.
විශ්වය සංවට්ට (සංකෝචනය) වන සමයක ‘සිත මිස කය නැති’ අභස්සර වැනි බ්‍රහ්මලෝකවලට ගොනුවන ජීවින් (දෙව්වරැ) ලෝකය විවට්ට (ප්‍රසාරණය) වන සමයෙහි මෙලොවට පැමිනේ. මේ ක්‍රියාදාමය නොකඞවා සිදුවන අතර දෙවිවරැ තවමත් පැමිනෙමින් සිටී. යහපාලනය වැනි අධර්මය රජයන සමයකදී මේ ක්‍රියාවලිය තාවකාලිකව නතරවී ඇතත් යහපාලනය මේ පිංබිමින් චුතවූ වහාම එය නැවතත් පෙර පරිදිම සිදුවේ. එනම් ඒකපුද්ගල දේව ගණත්වය (නලින් ද සිල්වා මහතා නිරමාණය කල යෙදුමකි) දෙදහස් දෙසීයකටත් වඞා වැඞිවෙමින් පවතින විටක අපි ‘හරාකිරි’ විමට උත්සාහ කරන්නේ කුමන කරැනක් නිසාදැයි නොවැටහේ.
පසුගිය අවුරැදු දහතුන ඇතුලත අපි දෙවතාවක් ‘හරාකිරි’ වීමට උත්සාහ කල අතර අවසාන වරට පසුගිය ජනවාරි අටවන දා සිහිකල හැක. මීට ඉහතදී 2002 වසරේදි රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහව අගමැතිකොට ‘සටන් විරාම ගිවිසුමක්’ ත්‍රස්තවාදින් සමග අත්සන් කිරීමට ඉඞදී කරගත්තේද හරාකිරිය. එමගින් රටේ භූමියෙන් තුනෙන් එකකුත් මුහුදු තීරයෙන් තුනෙන් දෙකකුත් ත්‍රස්තවාදි පාලනයකට නතුකොට ත්‍රස්තවාදින්ට අයබදු අයකරගැනීමටත් ත්‍රස්ත පොලිසි හා උසාවි පිහිටුවා වෙනම පාලනයකට මගපෑදිමකුත් සිදුවිය. තිස්දහසකට ආසන්න රණවිරැ ජීවිත පූජාවද මේ හරාකිරියේම ප්‍රතිපලයකි.
කෙසේ හෝ ජාතියේ පිනට පහලවූ මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂයන් බටහිරින් පැමිනි සියඵ තර්ජන ගර්ජනා හමුවේ නොසැලී සිට ලේ පිපාසිත ත්‍රස්තවාදය සහමුලින්ම පරාජය කොට මේ හෙල දෙරණින් තුරන්කර දැමුවේ ඔහුගේ ජීවිතයට බටහිරින් හා ත්‍රස්තයන්ගෙන් පැමිනුන අනතුරැද නොතකාය. බටහිර අධිකරණයකට කොටුකර ඔහුව නැතිකිරීමේ කර්තව්‍යය තවමත් එලෙසින්ම ක්‍රියාත්මකවන බව විදේශවල පැලපදියම්වී ඇති බෙදුම්වාදින් නොසඟවා අදත් ප්‍රකාශ කරයි. ලිබියාවේ ගඞාෆිට උසාවියක් හෝ දකින්නට වරමක් නොවීය. ඒ රටේ ඇතිවූ ‘යහපාලන’ය ඔහුව ඝාතණය කරනුලැබුවේ මහපාරේය. එවැනි වාතාවරණයක අපි සැමට ජීවිතදාණය දුන් මේ උදාර මිනිසාව අපි බලයෙන් පහකොට ඔහුව නිකම්ම නිකම් මිනිසෙක් බවට පත්කර ජාත්‍යන්තරයට ඔහුව කුදලාගෙන ගොස් මරාදැමීමට අවශ්‍ය පසුබිම පසුගිය ජනවාරි අටවනදා සලසා දුනිමු. අපගේ ජිවිත වලට නැවත වටිනාකමක් ලබාදුන්නේ මේ අපූරැ මිනිසාය. ඊට අමතරව ඔහු ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නැවත මුඵ ලෝකයේම අභිමානයට ලක්වන පරිදි කල හැකි සෑම දෙයක්ම කල ජන නායකයෙකි. සංවර්ධනය වන රටක් ලෙස තිබූ ශ්‍රී ලංකාව සංවර්ධිත රටක තත්වයකට උසස් වෙමින් තිබිනි. සෑම ජාත්‍යන්තර දර්ශකයකම ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ඉහලට ගමන් කරමින් තිබිනි. රටේ දස දිසාවේම සංවර්ධන ව්‍යාපෘතින් ක්‍රියාත්මක වෙමින් රට එකම කඞිගුලක්සේ ජවසම්පන්න වී තිබූ සමයක අපි දෙවන හරාකිරිය කරගතිමු.
සයිබර් බණ ඇසූ අපි අපේ සදාදරණීය නායකයා එක රැයකින් ගෙදර යැවීමට තරම් ‘කෘතඥ’ වුයෙමු. ඔහු නිසා ජීවිතය රැකගත් අපි, අනතුරේ ඇති ඔහුගේ ජීවිතය තුටටුවකටවත් මායිමේ කලේ නැත. දැන් අප නිදහස්ය. දැන් තැන තැන බෝම්බ පුපුරන්නේ නැත. මල සිරැරැවල කෑලි ඇහිදිමින් මිහිදන් කලා කිසිවෙකුටත් මතක නැත. රණවිරැන්ටත් රටටත් නායකත්වය දුන් මේ අපූරැ මිනිසා කුදලාගෙන ගොස් ජාත්‍යන්තර අධිකරණයට පමුනුවා මරණ දන්ඞණයට යටත්කලාට කමක් නැති ගානය. එම දණ්ඞණයට එරෙහිව ඔහුට තිබූ එකම ආවරණය එක රැයකින් ගලවාදැමු අපි බලා සිටින්නේ යහපාලකයින් ඔහුව ජාත්‍යන්තරයට කුදලා බාරදෙන තෙක්ද? දැන් අපි කැමතිවුනත් නැතත් යහපාලනය තුල එම ක්‍රියාදාමය සිදුවෙමින් පවතී.
අපි සියඵ දෙනාටම එදා ජනවාරි අටවනදා වැරදුනා. මෙ වරද නිවැරදි කරගත යුතුයි නැතිනම් අපි තෙවන වරටත් හරාකිරි කරගන්නවා පමනක් නොව නායකයෙක් නැති නිහීන ජාතියක් වී බටහිරින් හැලෙන යමක් ඇහිද ජිවත්වන නිවටුන් බවට පත්වේවි. අපි සිටිය යුත්තේ බටහිර හා සමසමවය. අප සතුව ඇති දැනුම් සම්භාරයත් බුදධියත් වෙනත් කිසිම ජාතියකට නැත. අපේ මුතුන් මිත්තන් මේවා අපට ඉතුරැකර තැබුවේ එමගින් ලෝකයේ ඉන්නා උසස්ම ජාතිය වී නිර්මලවු බුදුදහම රැකගැනීමටයි. ත්‍රස්තවාදය නිමකර එම ජාතික වටිනාකම, සම්පත ලෝකයට ගෙනයාමට සැරසුනා පමනි, කරැමයක මහත, සෝබිතගේ යහපාලන තොරොම්බල් කරත්තය ලයිට් දමාගෙන වෛවර්ණයෙන් සරසී සයිබර් අවකාශය හරහා ගමට පැමිනියාය.
රටකට ජනතාව, සංස්කෘතියක් මෙන්ම ජනතාවට ආදරයකරන නායකයෙක්ද අවශ්‍යය. එසේ නොවන රටක් දකුණු ඇමරිකානු ‘බනානා රිපක්ලික්’ රටක් මෙන් වනවා පමනක් නොව ලෝකයාගේ විහිඵවටද භාජනයවීම නොවැලක්විය හැකිය. යහපාලකයින් රකිනා රටක් නැත. ඔවුන් මේ රට කාගේදැයිවත් නොදනී. ‘මේ රට සිංහලයින්ගේ යැයි ලියා ඇත්තේ කොහේද’ යනුවෙන් ඔලොක්කු කරන්නේත්, මේ රට කාගේදැයි කියා ඔවුන් නොදන්නා බව ප්‍රසිද්ධියේම ප්‍රකාශ කරන්නේත් සිංහලයාට මේ රටතුල ඇති අයිතිය හා හිමිතැන නැතිකරන චේතනාවෙන් බව අප තේරැම් ගත යුතුව ඇත. මහින්ද රාජපක්‍ෂයන් අපේ සදාදරණීය නායකයා වී සිටි වසර දහයතුල ඔබට මෙවැනි මුග්ද, ජඞ කතා ඇසුනාද? දැන් මෙවැනි නොසරැප් දොඞන්නන් එදා සිටියේ ‘රහස් ගබඞා කාමර’ (closet) තුලය.
යහපාලනය සමඟ අපේ ජීවය බඳුවූ මේ රට ගමන් කරනා දිසාව දැන් පැහැදිලිය. මේ ව්‍යාසනයෙන් මිදෙන එකම මාර්ගය ලබන මැතිවරණය හරහා අපට ලැබී ඇත. එදිනට මහින්ද මොන පක්‍ෂයකින් මොන ලකුණකින් තරඟ කලත් ‘ඔහු කල රට’ ලැබූ සංවර්ධනයත්, ඔහුගේ හැකියාවත්, අද යහපාලනයේ නොහැකියාවත් තේරැම් ගැනීමට තරම් අප බුද්ධිමත් වෙමු.

Well said Tissa. It was a shock for me when my leader lost the election on Jan8th. I was thinking to myself how come our people forgot so soon what this great leader done to this country. Ending the war isn’t enough? Ending the bloodshed isn’t enough? What a ungrateful lot we have in this land? I cannot believe until now and I am very angry with all the traitors and the people who believed their fairytale stories.
I hope people will wake up from their bad dream and think of their future without believing Yahapalana lies and make up stories of the UNP and their henchmen. MR should expose to the public the Yahapalanaya corruption,waste and their evil plans hatched together with the collaboration of the west and the Indians. People should know the real truth and what will happen in the future if this same Govt run as it is now. All patriots who loves their Motherland must get united and bring back Mahinda again to lead our tiny nation for a better future. Any nut can see the difference of Governance when you look around the country. Economy is down,no more development work,Food prices are up, Roads are dirty, Crime rate is up,Accident rate is high,Police acting like German Gestapo and the rulers spread fear thru intimidation,Thuggery,arrests and jailing innocent people. wake up Sinhalese before it’s too late. Rally behind MR to save the land we call home.

MR loss was a shock & a devastating blow to Sri Lanka.However it has happened now ,you can’t change it so look at positively to bring him back sooner.But if we don’t take lessons from his defeat,it is going to happen sooner next time around.I was one who said the Muslims had a great time destroying our Wilpattu under MR who gave a deaf ear to earn ME support at the UN.Today BBS gave a public speech how sharia law has crept into banks,education & law during MR time.BBS agitated against these criminal acts in MR time but sadly got the bad name therefore because of MR’s inaction.I feel for BBS.
MR should be more flexible with the west to a degree to keep the muslims at bay,no point raising another vicious tiger.MR has to accept the normal non political citizens were fed up by activities of his henchmen & family & declare openly that he has accepted his mistakes & now will put them right. MR did NOT put paid to 13 in spite of patriotic calls.I would like MR to make bonds with JHU SF BBS to win handsomely at the election.

I am not happy 100% with MR’s governing during his tenure in office but liked him as a person and for his courageous leadership qualities. Ending the LTTE war was enough for me to give my vote to him. We wrote many articles about corruption and we said not to play the war card for everything. We reminded him that people will not be in his side for ever if he don’t punish the wrongdoer’s in his Govt. We wrote about 13 many times and asked him to scrap it completely. We wrote him to sack the former P.M. as he was not fit to be a Prime Minister and many more issues concerning our citizens. We wrote him to stay back the last two years and clean up the whole set up in his Government and face the election but unfortunately nothing happened.
I hope this time around he will learn his mistakes and come forward with a clean agenda to Govern the country and solve most of the issues we are facing today. No other leader have done so much to this country like MR it’s the truth. I hope people will give him another chance and hope he will serve better to the satisfaction of all citizens irrespective of color, party or religion.

Everything has a bright side. MR’s loss on the 8th Jan too has a bright side. In his own admission he has condoned wrong doing and corruption and now he knows those are the ones that brought his down fall. So we can reasonably expect a clean and transparent administration from him this time around.That is exactly what the country needs right now.

I am looking forward for the dissolution of current parliament. However traitor My3 has another duty as assigned by the conspirators. That is to break the SLFP ensuring a UNP victory. With MR’s popularity increasing by the day, he is unable to do that. How far these traitors have gone with the war crimes investigation too would be a deciding factor. They want to break the backbone of the majority community by hook or crook.

Kumari…. looking at the shape of things to come, this seems to be the case. Siraa who is guided by the bandit queen like a little puppy is fully aware that he or his mentor cannot work with an SLFP government.
Only way the bandit queen can carry out the western agenda that she undertook for $$$, is to have a UNP govt with a homosexual Foreign Minister who has NO VALUE in our traditions and hell bent on pleasing the west.
This is the main reason that they won’t give nominations to MR from SLFP. MR shouldn’t waste any more time. He should let the masses know that he is going to contest from MEP. Patriotic Sri Lankans living around the world are waiting to hear that.
Charith…. yes there were shortcomings during MR’s time. I blame his wife, sons and also Basil for bringing MR down. Their greediness doesn’t allow them to see the value of MR to the country. With recent happenings, I am sure that MR learned everything that wasn’t once visible to him. The great man he is, he himself admitted to those shortcomings in public and stated that he will not allow those to take place again. People believe him and trust him.
Patriotic Sri Lankans should never forget the fact that it is Mahinda Rajapakse who saved the country from turmoil after the last Sinhala king of Sri Lanka, King Wimaladharmasuriya. Even if he has governed 10 times, still we need him to govern the country… because it is only MR who has answers to our problems and it is him who can save our motherland.

What is more dear to patriotic Sri Lankans.? Is it a government that makes the country a modern day western colony by ignoring our values, or a government that goes by our values and stands for the country’s sovereignty.?
