Launching of ‘Girl’s Change the World’ Campaign

Foundation for Innovative Social Development (FISD) is launching the ‘Girl’s Change the World’ Campaign on April 7th 2017 at the Western Province Cultural Centre Auditorium, Colombo 07 from 3.00-5.00pm.
The campaign launch is aimed at kick starting a workshop series led by girls to reduce the glamour and attractiveness associated with alcohol.
The event will comprise of dramas, video films and seek to nominate 10 popular personalities as ambassadors for the campaign.
The initiative is designed at empowering girls to become change makers in their society and empower them to create an environment where alcohol abuse is not tolerated.
FISD is a national nongovernmental organization in Sri Lanka working towards the uplifting of living standards of local communities. We enlist civil society participation and social mobilization in order to enhance the status of women, to build a healthy environment for children, and to create a society free from alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
