Class Action against TNA.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-It is happening ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-, says Mr.Stanley Perera who mooted the idea of a legal action against TNA. He ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ is now in Sri Lanka, making arrangements to contact two leading constitutional lawyers Gomin Dayasiri and H.L.Gunasekara to get their legal advice as to the possibility of filing a private action against the TNA.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Before actually briefing the Lawyers he considersƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  that it would be important to consultƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  politicians such as Mr.Wimal Weerawnsa,ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekara and some of the known patriotic Buddhist Priests, to find their views on the move under consideration.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Stanley thinks that it would also be necessary to know what the President , the Defence Secretary and the Minister of Economic Development Mr. Basil Rajapakse ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ have to say ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ on his proposal.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  He has made arrangements toƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  meet them, other ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ political leaders, and those who may be interested on the matter.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Stanley may also start a web site to facilitate his project.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In the meantime there are reports of a power struggle amoung theƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  expatriate Tamil terrorist leaders such as Rudrakumaran in the USA, Nediyawan in Norway and Tilakaran in France which apparently has repercussions on the TNA, which has broken up into three groups one lead by Sampanthan and the other two by Premachandran and Gejendran.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The ƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ…-rumourƒÆ’‚¢ƒ¢-¡‚¬ƒ”š‚ goes that Sampanthan with some members of the TNA may join the Government. Premachandran has come out as the more forceful leader to replace Sampanthan. ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ Sampanthan had apparently not supported the idea of the presence of the TNA in Geneva, which had ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ caused displeasure amoung the ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ rest of the TNA MPs. However, it intrigues why Sampanthan had sent out 47 letters to Member State participating in the HRCouncil sessions in Geneva asking them to support the USA resolution.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ The TNA split does not help the cause of Sri Lanka if they continue to peddle the same principles. We cannot wholely depend on their political honesty.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  If Sampanthan is to join the government he should give up his allegiance to the principles of TNA from which he comes, accepting unity of all Communities, without demanding the implementation of the 13A or asking for police and land power to the Provincial Councils

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ From information coming from Geneva the progress against the American resolution is that Sri Lanka is gaining support from a large number of Member States.ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  Among them is India whichƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  has still not made a statementƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚  at the HRCouncil sessions.

ƒÆ’-¡ƒ”š‚ In the meantime our Ambassador HE Tamara Kananaykam has been exceedingly helpful in moving other Member States against the American moves.

Thank you Charles for the information.

“Stanley thinks that it would also be necessary to know what the President , the Defence Secretary and the Minister of Economic Development Mr. Basil Rajapakse have to say on his proposal.”

“The “rumour” goes that Sampanthan with some members of the TNA may join the Government.”

Then we all know what will happen – NOTHING!! But Stanley is resolute and I hope he doesn’t give up COME WHAT MAY.

MR, GR and BR will say not to proceed with it because Sampanthan and Sumanthiran dirt are now pro-govt!!

This is an old trick. Kiss the hand you wish to cut. Now some TNA jokers will become friends with the govt and save their shitbacks. Sampanthan and Sumanthiran will become Raja-Passas! New Duminda Silvas. They will get 13 amendment implemented and become PRO-GOVT chief ministers for the NP and then TNA will take over. A worthy sacrifice for Tamil Elam.

We MUST ban the TNA entirely. Our action should be measured ONLY by the OUTCOME – TNA ban. Fullstop.

TNA is banned – we succeeed.
TNA not banned – we failed.

No compromise with TNA or ANY TNA leaders unless they denounce devolution, 13 amendment and Tamil aspirations.

This is one the best ideas that some one presented since the war ended.

TNA and overseas living LTTE -rump should not be allowed to live free.

Why, Adele Balasingham is free to live. She has money, a house and probably a good bank account. British justice system should handle her if we ask to. Generally, people sue only against the people who have wealth to afford any repercussions resulting from the court case.

    Charles,

Thank you for the update on Stanley Perera’s initiative. Let me add my support to this as well, and reiterate some comments I made in response to Shenali Waduge’s previous post.

The CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST THE TNA, as proposed by Stanley Perera, should be pursued VIGOROUSLY. Let Sri Lankan patriots give the GOSL a helping hand in a SUBSTANTIAL WAY to defend our Motherland. Let us give the TNA, and the Eelamist Diaspora, a taste of their own bitter legal medicine.

The TNA is running scared of being asked to account for LTTE/TNA atrocities. They avoided attending the UNHCR hearings in Geneva to avoid being cross-examined on their support for LTTE terrorism.

Let us pursue them from PILLAR to POST where ever they appear … ask them inconvenient questions, haul them before tribunals and investigative committees demanding equal time to question them, and impose huge financial penalties and burdens on their organizations through the courts of these countries.

The TNA posing as VICTIMS today were the PURVEYORS of TERROR yesterday. Hold them ACCOUNTABLE.
PROSECUTE them, CONVICT and SENTENCE them to HARD LABOR in PRISON and DISSIPATE the FUNDS they collect to engage in these skullduggeries. ENOUGH allowing racist terrorists wolves to hide under VICTIMS sheepskins! ENOUGH!

With regard to the splitting of the TNA, this may be a defence mechanism by the Eelamist Hydra. The TNA is CLEARLY “reorganizing” itself to confuse opponents and to protect itself better from legal prosecution. The stated “disagreements” between the “factions” may be just a cover story that allows different factions to take responsibility for different parallel actions without becoming targeted and extinguished as a single whole. Metamorphosing into, and adopting, multiple identities is a STANDARD DEFENCE TACTIC practiced by the Eelamist Diaspora from its very beginning.

Also, the TNA strategy may include one “faction” joining the Govt, while two other “factions” continue to pursue Eelam through “war crimes” and “human rights” charges, so they can come out winners under any scenario, while putting pressure on the GOSL as they are currently doing. It is the soft guy with the carrot, and the hard guy with the stick kind of strategy, to move the GOSL in the direction of devolving power to former terrorists searching for an Eelam.

The GOSL should beware of this ploy of the TNA, for it will NOT bring ANY RELIEF to Sri Lanka or to the GOSL to deal with them separately. It is another typical Machiavellian strategy of the Eelamist rattlesnakes.

Stanley Perera is doing the right thing. If proceeds it will be groundbreaking.

Consult politicians such as Mr.Wimal Weerawnsa, Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekara and some of the known patriotic Buddhist Priests, to find their views on the move under consideration.

Meeting leading constitutional lawyers Gomin Dayasiri and H.L.Gunasekara to get their legal advice.

Considering what the President , the Defence Secretary and the Minister of Economic Development Mr. Basil Rajapakse have to say on his proposal.

There can be aspects we may not see. So a good move by Stanley which we should all support.

For it to be of any use aggression should be controlled and chanelled. May be TNA can be forced to accept a mutually beneficial solution. I’m not saying there is (as far as I know they will not agree to such a solution) but the persons Stanley will be talking to will know for sure.

  6. dhane Says:

Stanley remember when you meet The President , the Defense Secretary and the Minister of Economic Development
Mr. Basil Rajapakse to make a proposal to pass a legislation in Parliament prohibit any form of action or proposal for separatism. India or Tamil Nadu cannot tell anything as it’s been done by Nehru in 1962. Plus class action against TNA this will make a full stop to Ealam. MR will understand and beware of this ploy of the TNA Eelamist rattlesnake’s strategy .

  7. stanley perera Says:

    Dear patriotic all,
Please suggest a name for our association. Patriotic Sri Lankan Foundation?
    Stanley.

  8. stanley perera Says:

Calling the patriotic Sri Lankans living in the UK. Please file a law suit in UK against Adela Balasingham for war crimes. If Malaysian Judiciary convicted BLAIR the LIAR for war crimes why not British judicary convick Adela? Get yourselves organised without wasting the time.

  9. Ananda-USA Says:

    Stanley,

Here are some candidate names for the Association:

    1. Sri Lanka Defence League (SLDL) … Similar to the very well known Jewish Defense League
    2. Sri Lanka Legal Defence League (SLLDL) … Legal Defence Focus is in the name
    3. Sri Lanka Defence Foundation (SLDF) … evokes the image of the Sri Lanka Defence Forces
    4. Sri Lanka Legal Defence Foundation/Association/Alliance (SLLDF/A) … Legal Defence Focus is in the name
    5. Sri Lanka Patriotic Action Committee (SLPAC) … Connotes a Political Action Committee (PAC)
    6. Defend Sri Lanka Foundation/Association/Alliance (DSLF/A)
    7. Association of Sri Lankan Patriots (ASLP)

  10. Ananda-USA Says:

    Stanley,

Her correct name is Adele Balasinham.

There are Youtube videos of her handing out cynaide suicide capsules to female LTTE cadre. As a foreigner who entered Sri Lanka illegally without a visa, she was violating Sri Lanka’s immigration laws as well as laws the protecting the safety of underage children.

  11. mjaya Says:

Very happy to hear the good news about Mr. Stanley Perera’s legal action against the traitors of the TNA. What they truly deserve is to be kicked out of the country!
