Tamil Politicians – Priests – Public Officials and Academics killed by the LTTE
Posted on November 3rd, 2013

However much the TNA or the new Northern Province Chief Minister C V Wigneswaran attempts to turn a megalomaniac terrorist banned by 32 foreign nations as a Terrorist Organization, into a -ËœHERO-â„¢ there are some hard facts that Tamils should not forget. First reminder is – LTTE-â„¢s first killing spree started not by killing Sinhalese but by killing Tamils -” the popular Mayor of Jaffna, Alfred Duraiappah became Prabakaran-â„¢s first target followed by scores of Tamil police officers gunned down while on duty. There are many Tamils who bemoan that a Tamil cannot become the President of Sri Lanka. They however are reluctant to admit that Mr. Lakshman Kadiragamar well on his way to becoming the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka was gunned down at his own home by the LTTE. The lists of Tamil politicians, academics, priests and other learned public officials and civil society members gunned down by the LTTE especially in -Ëœtheir-â„¢ supposed -Ëœhomeland-â„¢ terrain of Jaffna goes to show with what fright the Tamil people would have lived under LTTE rule, something they are still too proud to admit mesmerized by the notion that whatever LTTE crimes even killing their own people, the LTTE were afterall Tamils. We then would like to know whether the living Tamils have no sympathy for the Tamils slain by the LTTE over the years and why they do not seek justice for their deaths like the rest of the Sri Lankan citizenry. These men who had been gunned down were educated, people of standing, respected by all communities and future leaders -” they held all the qualifications that stood in the way of LTTE dictatorship which is why LTTE eliminated them preferring to keep the handful of politicians within the TNA who were ever ready to tow the LTTE line.
For Tamil politicians of the class of TULF/ACTC and even those in the present day TNA they cannot shy from addressing the caste/class factor which they had to swallow while rebel movements of low caste youth began to dictate how Tamils were to live and function. That freedom came in May 2009 with the elimination of the LTTE yet again it is nothing that the caste/class Tamils would ever admit for in attempting to keep alive the link through the -Ëœhero-â„¢ worship of the LTTE, the new Tamil leaders are hoping to once again hide the psyche of what dictates Tamil rule over Tamils and this was perfectly displayed in the bizarre ceremonial inauguration afforded to the new Chief Minister and the attire that showcased the exact nature of the mentality that the caste/class continue to suffer. While absorbed in what would continue to be a master-slave mentality unbeknown to the majority Hindus their -Ëœhomeland-â„¢ is being deviously converted at all levels by the very sources that were helping LTTE thrive and survive! The scenario tragically is being replicated in India and in particular Tamil Nadu.
Be that as it may -” the contentious argument has always been that the LTTE has been and was formed to protect the interests of the Tamil. The deaths below which excludes the ORDINARY TAMILS killed by the LTTE is proof that LTTE is not a representative of the Tamils however much hero worship the TNA and Wigneswaran currently attempts to do. The continued link to LTTE despite its elimination goes to show that the rest of the links that kept LTTE alive is keeping the TNA and Wigneswaran puppets on strings as well. These are all lessons for the Tamil polity to decide exactly where they want their future to go -” not now but in 20 to 30 years and beyond and it is no better a time than now for Tamils to wonder where the TNA or Wigneswaran or even the LTTE fronts of the Christian sponsored organizations of the Tamil Diaspora are taking the Tamil people of Sri Lanka. It is these same players that are pulling the strings of the celluloid politicos in Tamil Nadu where for an aspiring to be super power -” we do not expect India to go on bended knees to the theatrics of just one state. We never thought that India-â„¢s foreign policy would be determined by celluloid players of Tamil Nadu!

THEY ARE STILL CALLING FOR TAMIL POLICE OFFICERS, EASY TO KILL ON THE SECOND ROUND.
November 2nd, 2013 at 3:46 pm
Some on the list are LTTE SUPPORTERS.
They were NOT killed by the LTTE. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
e.g. The first 3 in the 1st list were part time LTTE officials.
Ponnambalam was NOT killed by the LTTE. TNA members killed were also NOT by the LTTE. Very good job by whoever did those. Kudos!

What is blaring is that the Tamil National Alliance knows every bit of evidence stated in this article and yet wants to make LITE cadres Heroes and not Villains. It is obvious by that they also will not give up the cause of their “heroes” or the creation of Eelam…no matter how many times this is brought up to them. The Tamil National Organization are not made up of deaf, dumb and blind people but fanatics who justify every murderous deed, every act of genocide if it gets them their Eelam.
If that is the case it would be insane to continue the same path of convincing the convinced of facts they already know and instead recognize that the Tamil National Alliance is nothing but the new face of LITE and like LITE should be systematically taken out. The world especially Tamil Nadu to India will scream and holler but if they scream and holler in support of the new face of LITE THEY ARE WRONG and by being wrong have forfeited their moral high ground to criticize a purge. THE TAMIL NATIONAL ALLIANCE AND ALL THOSE WHO SUPPORT THEM SHOULD BE PURGED.

I believe only a mass demonstration in Colombo by Sri Lankans against the false allegations by the pro LTTE Diaspora may be the only way the Commonwealth leaders will get to know how most of us feel. It is absolutely frustrating to see the TNA and other pro LTTE groups spreading false allegations at fever pitch in the wake of the Commonwealth Summit.

Those who are frustrated with the misinformation in Sri Lanka should see the damage misinformation is doing overseas. Those who are in Western countries enjoying the fruits of their lies to get out of the country for economic reasons have learned to lie and no one can be trusted. We are supposed to be in a reconciliation mode but the Government is bending over backwards while they are getting more and more arrogant that not only Sri Lanka owes it to them. Give it a few more years, there will be battles for Elam in Canada, UK and hopefully the USA will see the light before then as Australia has. The best thing to do is to check the passports of all the asylum seekers when they return to Sri Lanka without any danger and then try to re-enter their foreign destinations where they got immigration with lies. Australia is checking and turning away those who complained of Genocide to enter Australia and are returning safely. At the point of re-entry all the western countries should open their eyes and check how they got immigration on the grounds of Genocide and are returning to visit and even getting dual citizenship in the country that they ran away from. What about the purchase of valuable property? How did some of them who are illiterate earn so much to buy luxury properties. Someone needs to check and our External Affairs Ministry should be very active in working with other countries to check on these folks who lied and put down Sri Lanka causing havoc just to gain their ends. Deceit is a way of life.

Thank you, Shenali, for exposing the facts.
Killing of Tamil politicians and others in the North was the start of the explosion of Tamil Caste/Class Wars. When GoSL sent in the armed forces to quell the problems in the North, the GoSL (any GoSL) is the “common of the Tamil people”, said the Tamil leaders ! An imaginary ‘enemy’ is NECESSARY to forge Tamil unity, cutting through the Caste/Class barriers of thousands of years.
Pity poor others of Lanka, the common victims of Tamil leaders false accusations & aspirations. Reminds one of Hitler’s Third Reich – for similar reasons, Hitler made the Jewish people ‘the enemy’ of the German people, later extending to other countries. In some people, the human mind is very strange. A runaway mind is a dangerous thing. The Buddha said that the unguarded mind is like an ill thatched home – it does not serve survival and the purpose of the Life.
Take the term Tamil Genocide. This term started after the 1983 Riots. Without the trumped up Riots, the term Tamil Genocide could not be thrown out. About 300 Tamils were killed in these Riots, all poor Hindus, and a few Sinhela/Buddhists. We are told that it was a Tamil-Tamil matter. The Riots have had far reaching effects.
These Riots were the start of EXODUS of Tamils to the west, and foreign interference in Sri Lanka internal affairs. It was the time of the Cold War and it suited India & other foreign countries to interfere in Sri Lanka internal matters. Without the 1983 Riots, the west could not accept so called Tamil Refugees. Sri Lanka, which had excellent relations with the west, lost that good position, and still trying to recover.
CHOGM platform should be used to throw out the truth of matters. Add the fact of Tamil illegal migrants, (hundreds of thousands), to Sri Lanka from Tamil Nadu.
Make booklets from all the important articles from Lankaweb and present them to the CHOGM Representatives. Also take CHOGM Reps to Tamil Nadu via FERRY (to show how close we are to the Tamil Homeland of Tamil Nadu), and show them the social realities and structures of Tamil Nadu.
Tamils are being converted to other faiths. Why ? There are the perfectly sound Four Yogas, devoid of caste/class structures. So it must be for casting aside Caste, security, favors, money and to go abroad.
November 4th, 2013 at 8:10 am
Hindus are being converted to other faiths.-small correction – fully agreed reason for caste/class structures !
We are only 20 miles away from India !so We can cut our nose because we have cool .
We have to live with it !
live & let live !
United Mother Lanka , no short cut ,unit in diversity !!!
November 4th, 2013 at 9:27 am
Cut off Tamil Nadu till there is a return of Tamil people to Tamil Nadu, the Homeland of Tamil people.
November 4th, 2013 at 10:00 am
cut off TN is similar to cut our nose !
the Homeland of Tamil people- Agreed again
We are Eelavar (in Sinhala Hela ) not Tamilar ! We speck Tamil & Muslim speck Tamil as OUR mother tang that is not our fault!
Why this Kolaveer ?
Have you watched last night C4 No fire zone ?
November 4th, 2013 at 12:00 pm
SA Kumar/ Andy,
This particular ‘nose’ you refer to has “social illness cancer”. Cut it off till a healthy nose is re-grown.
Tamil folk have to chose which side of the Palk Sts they belong to, isn’t that so,
Andy ?
————-
It was the same for Britain & France, till laws were formulated for co-existence and wars ceased. Both sides have to abide by the laws.
November 5th, 2013 at 3:43 am
Tamil folk have to chose which side of the Palk Sts they belong to, isn’t that so,- Fully agreed for that you our Sinhala sakothrayas have to show us a way !!!!
November 5th, 2013 at 4:34 am
Lingam,
I watch the C4 thing. A tamil woman whose clothes were removed by fellow LTTE rapist was given a towel to cover the genitals and helping her to walk very kindly.
I don’t know whether it is the same woman they showed killed. All Tamils look the same to me !
But I don’t approve killing , if the Sudda bugger saying is correct. But this Sudda bugger cannot trust, he went Jaffna for entertainment some years ago. LTTE provided young tamil girls to him.
November 5th, 2013 at 5:20 am
Nanda
towel to cover the genitals !
which is make any common person to think (cloth gone down, it was cover it back by same Army person- which is real gentleman behaviour) validity of this “no fire zone ” ! Sudda bugger cannot trust !
As Tamil I am very sad !
November 5th, 2013 at 12:07 pm
Andy,
Re Tamil folk have to chose which side of the Palk Sts they belong to : I am referring to the Tamil folk who were born in Sri Lanka, not the illegal migrants or the Tamil people already in Tamil Nadu. Those Tamils in Tamil Nadu can stay there, we do not want them here. All Illegal migrants should be deported. Those Tamils born in Lanka must decide whether they belong in Lanka or Tamil Nadu, once and for all. There is no need for Sinhela people to show the way. Andy, all human beings have a Heart to show the way. If Tamils practice the beautiful Hindu Raj Yoga meditation, they will get in touch with their own Hearts.
Go to wopg. org for more information on the subject of the human Heart. Tell your Tamil friends about this website.
November 5th, 2013 at 2:10 pm
I am referring to the Tamil folk who were born in Sri Lanka- Yes I am also talking about this Sri Lankan Tamil only !
There is no need for Sinhela people to show the way- No Agrred !!! You Sinhalese have to decide which way We Tamil side of the Palk Sts they belong to !!!
If you real beleive We are in your side We do not have any problm at all !!!
thanks to wopg. org – yes
November 5th, 2013 at 2:55 pm
Lingam,
Woman LTTE colonel was sitting on the ground at an isolate area, half naked , no army was around before they came running.
Why ? Who made her 1/2 N ? herself , may be.
But what is clear is army treated her in a very very friendly manner.
If so , why this Kolaveer after 3 years ?
November 5th, 2013 at 5:19 pm
Woman (LTTE colonel?) was sitting on the ground at an isolate area, half naked Why ? Who made her 1/2 N ?
very valied question ???
no army was around before they came running.- what is clear is army treated her in a very very friendly manner- Fully agreed !
but same woman found later dead with hanshot ??? how come?
All surrend persons during last stage of war treated very very friendly manner but later found dead ?
(eg: EROS Balakumar& his son,Batticalo commander Ramesh etc… )
who behind these killing ??? defenitly not SL forces as a Tamil I stongly believe these friendly manner sinhala army not behind these uncivilised killing ? Indian or Karuna group or EPDP group ???
No point to MR/GR/SF get their saram get wet during every UNHR meeting ? tell us the true!
why this Kolaveer after 3 years ? C4 ‘No fire zone’
November 5th, 2013 at 5:42 pm
Lingam,
Why this Kolaveer for few LTTE murderer who were killed by whoever , who cares ? They were mass murderers anyway and deserve to die to pay off their karma ! It is a good thing.
So many thousands of completely innocent people died, no one made a “killing filed” on that. No kolaveer for that !
You tamils kolaveer for unnecessary foolish things. That is the main problem.
Get over it and enjoy the work of your Thief Minister Bijjeshwaran. Keep voting him and be happy!
Stop this kolaveer.
November 6th, 2013 at 12:40 am
They were mass murderers anyway and deserve to die to pay off their karma !-not fully agreed if murders suddended to you why you raped them & killed them ? than is not that your karma ?
Thief Minister Bijjeshwaran. ! one day he was our suprem court judge today you called him theief who got 100,000 favourable votes !
Nanda ,We two difirent community who live together last 2500 year according to Maha vamsam also we both knowwe will live together another 2,500 year in our mother lanka !!!
Why this kolaveri machan !!!
November 6th, 2013 at 1:20 am
Lingam,
Me no Tamil. Me no kill no even ant. If a mass murderer surrendered and sumeone raped and kill that sumone is his karma, no doubt. But the mass murderer is not able to pay back karma so bad for him or her. So, in this case a good thing happened to Tamil woman and bad thing happened to Chingalam whoever raped and killed her. So, why this lolaveri ?.
Good thing happened to Tamil woman bad thing happened to Chingalam and now there is peace machan. Enjoy the peace and stop this nonsense kolaveri !
Remember “killing hurts the killer, not the killed”.
November 6th, 2013 at 3:20 am
“killing hurts the killer, not the killed”.- good logic !
my bit worry machan even dead body our solder want to raped her again ( in back ground voice in Sinhala ‘no fire zone’)
how safe our Tamil girls are in NEP with our solders ? or Am I imagining too much ? I hope yes !
Me no Tamil. Me no kill no even ant. ! great explanation . not jocking machan .
