The Wedaberi” and puppet Sirisena who for the last one year has done absolutely nothing to take the country forward, stalled all the development projects, made several thousand unemployed, and made the housewives to face an arduous task of feeding their children at least one meal a day has made an attempt to hide his failures Wedaberikama” by resorting to hollow speeches to project himself as a great patriot who loves the culture and traditions of this country.

Participating in a meeting held at Ampara and commenting on Enrique’s ‘Sex And Love’ show, organized by cricketers Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene which was held in Colombo on the 20th of December, puppet Sirisena has said that those who attend, promote and participate in this kind of indecent shows which threatens our cultural traditions should be whipped with toxic stingray tails.

It has now been established that puppet Sirisena’s Son in Law Thilina Suranjith, son Dhaham Sirisena and a group of his friends and relations amounting to 50 persons attended the show by purchasing Rs. 50,000 per person tickets.  People must be wondering how and from where they got this money?

The statement made by Wedaberi” Sirisena has drawn the attention of many Asia-Pacific and Western media and websites and most of them have condemned the statement.  People wonder whether the Wedaberi”, Puskathaa” and puppet Sirisena has the guts to carry out his pledge and whether he will mete out this punishment to his own kith and kin? If he is a person having an iota of credibility to what he says let him call his Son in Law Thilina Suranjith, son Dhaham Sirisena and the group of his friends and relations to a public stage in Polonnaruwa or anywhere in this country and whip them publicly.  Come on Wedaberi” Sirisena prove your integrity or otherwise apologize to the people.
