Britons voting to EXIT from the EU is a great blessing to make the political situation in Sri Lanka more stable. The victory to the EXIT BRITON” group and political peoples forces in the UK to defeat UK’s PM David Cameron should be considered politically in the domestic arena in Sri Lanka as a VICTORY for the Mahinda Rajapaksa group or the EKAABADDA VIPAKSAYA” and the lovers of Mahinda Rajapaksa and the MAATHRUBOOMIYA who have been tormented by the EU, David Cameron and the PRO-LTTE political R2R factors of the International community, since the commencement of the separatist war in Sri Lanka in 1983 and intensified after the defeat of the LTTE in May 2009.

As the saying goes – Anugta Korade Thamanta Paladei” – Cameroon has been cursed by the God, now to suffer the same feelings and emotions of what Mahinda Rajapaksa went through at the defeat in the Presidential Elections in 2015 (in a Sri Lankan context). Cameron’s defeat should also be considered a defeat (in the same context) for President Maithripala Sirisena and PM Ranil Wickremasinghe, because they (the Yahapalana government) sent a battery of Sri Lanka parliamentarians and Ministers supporting the Yahapalana government, both from the UNP and SLFP/UPFA parliamentarians who were not in the Mahinda Rajapaksa EKAABADDA VIPAKSAYA” to campaign Sri Lanka domiciled in the UK who had the right to vote in this referendum, during the run-up to yesterday’s elections/REFERUNDUM to support PM Cameron.

A weekend newspaper last week listed the following parliamentarians of the Yahapalana government who had visited Britain to urge British citizens of Sri Lankan origin to support PM David Cameron to vote to remain within the union. The name list went as follows: Minister Harin Fernando, Deputy Minister Harsha de Silva, former UNP MP Rosy Senanayake, Minister Dayasiri Jayasekera, Minister Susil Premajayantha and State Minister Dilan Perera.

This battery of Sri Lankan politicians have been fully backed and financed from Sri Lankan taxpayers money by the Yahapalan government at a time when the poor citizens in Sri Lanka were burdened with a 15 % VAT TAX on all and every trade, consumer and service provisions in addition to an exorbitant cost of living rise in the economy and deficiencies in government budgetary management that was plaguing the poor ordinary citizens after the defeat of the Mahinda Rajapaksa government in January 2015. Mahinda Rajapaksa’s march forward to power back again and the popularity of the EKAABADDA VIPAKSAYA” (in the Sri Lankan context) will gain momentum in the coming week and months.

Noor Nizam, Mahinda Rajapakse was good only in his first term as the President. I do not approve his second term as he lost his head after gaining much popularity in winning the war. the next presidential election will be held before general election. MR may be popular but his chances of becoming the prime minister is very bleek. MR can become a cabinet minister in the new government. There is another four years before the general election in that time who knows what is going to happen. MR will be another CBK.

  2. Ratanapala Says:

Aappaya did not have time to visit flood affected victims in not too distant Konnawa let alone other areas, the land slide affected population in Aranayake nor the Ordnance Explosion affected people in Salawa. And yet Aappaya had the temerity to send a delegation of his cronies to help his master – Cameron in the Brexit referendum wasting millions of tax payer money which includes recent unlawful VAT money.

In three months time Aappaya will have to get use to a new Prime Minister in the UK and an altogether a different a**e to lick! I am sure he will soon be tutored by the Ranil School of Ponnayas to learn the fine art of a**e licking! This will bring valuable foreign exchange as well as long term loans at low interest rates!

It is time that the nation start thinking of Gotabhya as the next President of Sri Lanka and work towards that goal. Those who love Sri Lanka must put a plan in place for this development. Gota has the character and the patriotism to keep Sri Lanka in one piece and eventually lead Sri Lanka to a less corrupt nation than what it is. He needs good advisors and good friends. He has a clean record throughout his career in the Armed Forces and later as Secretary to the Ministry of Defence and Urban Development in Sri Lanka.

Mr Nizam, Mr Ratnapala. I totally agree with you. Cameron is a sleek talker and a double crosser. AnotherTony Blair. HHe used his Eaton and Oxford education to full use. When he was elected PM for first time he offered a first time created Deputy PMship to the third party in British parliament the Liberal Democrats. Lib Dems are more Labour than Conservative. At the next elections Lib Dems were anahilated and Cameron won to form an only Conservative government.

When he came to Sri Lanka he visited Jaffna against the wishes of the government. When Rookadaya visited London, he runs and open the car door to our man. He got the NATO to bomb Libya which resulted in killing of a head of state by the mobs and destruction of a once hope of Africa. No one is talking of the plunder of Libyan treasures.

In the Brexit vote there was a clear distinction of the haves and the have nots.

We need a person with love for the country, determination and conviction to carry out the Mahinda Chinthanaya Idiri Dekma. Whether it is a Rajapakse or not does not matter to me.

  4. S.Gonsal Says:

    Stanley,
I can see you as a single person here who understand the reality. Others are living in dream world. We certainly need a fresh face to get out of this mess.

  5. stanley perera Says:

I support my Gota Not BR or MR anymore. Synthetic lawyer is only dum dum. What Sri Lanka needs now is whole lot of new 225 free loaders. Don’t trust the yellow robes or thun nikaya benz mudalalis.

  6. Fran Diaz Says:

In MR’s second term, MR’s hands were tied up with the War Crimes charge and Yahap Intimidation.

The situation remains unchanged. Yahap and vested interests have seen to that.

Ranil led Yahap has been weakened with Brexit results. We await the next episode.

  7. LANKAPUTHRA Says:

Fran Diaz, no point in commenting on Stanly Perera’s comments. He imagines that MR’s family is NOT together. HE is very wrong. Election Commissioner wrote the constituting that is in operation. People must rise against the government and request MR to take over the country. All this is OBAMA the MUSLIM planned, but he took two hits. Last week. UK out of EU and his agent UK Prime Minister Carmon is out. Next was the 49 killed in the shooting. It will be FIFTY soon. Only country OBAMA has in a grip is Mother Lanka. It will be interesting to see what will happen in UK. People will attack super markets and take food items. To avoid a similar situation in Sri Lanka, OBAMA advised Srisena President to issue a Supermarket Credit card with no pay back for two years.
