‘Whites Only’ Esmond Wickramasinghe Creates a Bridgehead in Sri Lanka for Corporate Colonialists – RW Files (Part 1)

Ranil Wickramasinghe toting a dubious crown as the most unpopular Prime Minister ever in the history of the island nation – a view endorsed even by members of his own United National Party – is hailed by Sri Lankans as the Country’s First ever Unconstitutional Prime Minister and now as the Charlatan Pretender to the Presidential ‘throne’.
RW was eased into those positions by a political coup d’état hatched by the powerful global and regional neo feudal forces, brazenly interfering into Sri Lanka’s domestic affairs at the Presidential election of 08 Jan 15.
A deal was done; sirisena would appoint RW as Prime Minister in return for the massive financial and ‘other’ support the Indo – US axis forces would extend sirisena at the Presidential Election.
Within hours of the announcement of his marginal victory in an election marred by the worst vote rigging ever by anti government elements ably assisted and funded by NGOs also known as ‘White Western Country Funded Organisations’ (WWCFOs) – even terrorist VP could not achieve a 90% voter response in the Northern and Eastern Provinces – the ‘dealster’ went on to unconstitutionally appoint RW as Prime Minister whilst a constitutionally appointed Prime Minister, enjoying the full confidence of Parliament, was yet in office; this was done, ignoring Parliament, in gross violation of Sri Lanka’s Constitution and the People’s sovereignty.
RW was born to a feudal family that, to put it mildly, fawned on the White Western Community. He was brought up, in cloistered circumstances, in a matriarchal environment. Some of his personality traits that erupted in later years had their roots perhaps in this stifling upbringing.
As a youngster at Royal College, RW by demeanour and personality attracted the attention of the ‘Big Boys’.
The ‘schoolster’, mollycoddled at home, developed a ‘dependency’ syndrome, a dependency on the ‘Big Boys’. The sated ‘Big Boys’, gleefully recompensed RW by sorting out for him the normal peer problems faced by any average boy at school.
This tendency was to become a characteristic trait of RW’s later life; he has to have around him those who would, in parliament, laugh aloud at his feeble attempts at humour; he has to have around him the ‘Big Boy’, now reduced to a pathetic voice box – His Master’s Voice- to issue dire threats to journalists and to the opposition. RW developed the mind frame of a classic comprador Feudalist who sees nothing wrong in keeping the front door of the house ajar at night for the ‘Big Boy’ in the neighbourhood to creep in and take liberties with a subdued matriarch in return for a few favours for himself. In class RW surrounded himself with similar minded boys.
At the university in later years, RW displayed a distinct penchant for Netball; hiding the netball from the girls and such like pranks amused him no end.
RW’s father Esmond Wickramasinghe, at a relatively young age, experienced a transcendent event in his life; he was miraculously transformed overnight from a Trotskyist to a Feudalist, by marriage.
During the ‘50s, the ‘60s and the ‘70s, EW the grand master of the White man’s lodges, was the point guard of the White Western Community in Sri Lanka.
EW used the assets of his dowry to aggressively safeguard the White Colonial interests in the country, deliberately mangling the brilliant arguments advanced by SWRD and the old Left on the true nature and motives of the White Western Countries.
EW, whose father – in – law had a virtual hegemony of the print media in the country at the time, hired the most brilliant of journalists in the country to work in his newspapers.
When SWRD took the bold anti imperial step of removing English as the ‘Official’ language of the sovereign State of Ceylon, the ‘Whites Only’ EW was quick to cloak it pithily and mischievously, as ‘Sinhala only’ perverting the anti imperial thrust of SWRD’s action and coating it with an ethnic toxin.
The Feudalists in the South and the Feudalists in the North of the country (the Vellalys) shared a common motivation to terminate SWRD with extreme prejudice. This motivation was shared by the Global White Feudalists who had been booted out of the military Bases in Trincomalee and Katunayake and were appalled when, against the prevailing World Order of that day, SWRD took the decision to up sticks from the White Western block and pitch tent in the Non Aligned camp. Analysts ask, Did SWRD unwittingly sign his death warrant on that day?”
Traditionally, the Feudal Sinhalese and the Feudal Tamils have been the palanquin bearers of the White Colonial Interests in this country; they coordinated with each other and collaborated with the White Global Feudalists then, as they do now.
The Feudal Sinhalese and the Feudal Tamils were grievously hurt by SWRD’s initiative of removing English as the official language of the country. The writing on the wall stared them in the face; they would lose their preeminent position in Government ‘Administration’ held purely (and unfairly) by reason of their knowledge of the English Language.
The Feudalists in the South and the Feudalists in the North (the Vellalys) were quick to latch on to EW’s insidious racial slant; it was in the interest of both the Tamil and Sinhalese Feudal classes to fan and fuel ethnic hatred throughout the country. The grim theatrics that unfolded on both sides of the divide, a divide if it were, are the patrimony of the Sinhalese and Tamil Feudalists distinguishable in the ball park, by caste in the North and ‘Right – Wing – Political- Party’ affiliation in the South.
EW succeeded in distracting the people in the North and in the South from their real enemy, the White Western Countries which are at the vanguard of the Global Corporate offensive to recolonise the territories lost in the aftermath of World War 2.
In fanning and fuelling ethnic hatred in the country the Feudalists in the North and the South while causing incalculable harm to the fabric of Sri Lanka’s society were successful in creating a strategic beachhead for intervening regional and global forces.

The Sinhalese were in the island for more than 100,000 years. Stop writing pro Indian and pro Tamil lies. Indians; mainly Tamils came on the back of the British the same way they went to other British-Indian colonies like Malaysia Fiji, Mauritius, Guyana, South Africa etc etc. Please open your eyes, ears, mind and think of Indians who came here without a penny and to day they are billionaires.

to hoodwink the Sinhala modayas. He is a token Buddhist and die hard catholic. Just look at his henchmen.
John mara, arjun ma horandran, karupaiya karunkanayagam, austin fernando, reginald cooray etc.etc.
All catholics. But Sinhala modayas can’t see the connection.
His religion of convenience has given him perfect cover to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing to destroy Buddhism,
Sinhalese race and Sri Lanka to please the catholic west. Meanwhile Sinhala modayas have no clue. They can’t

My current complaint is that important CHANGES are made in vital areas by past and present govts of Lanka, without due consideraton given to the effects of such sudden and fast changes on the existing People of Lanka, young and old.
For instance, we think it was Mrs B govts rather sudden and extreme take over of Land in her Land Reform measures plus the take over of Businesses by her govt that gave the land & business owners in Lanka a rude shock ….
If the reforms were done in a fairer manner to the owners, with due compensation and over a staggered period of time, it would have been better.
Similarly, the switch from the use of the English language to Sinhala (in the schools Science medium especially), was too sudden. Those who did the studies in Sinhala for Science studies were at a disadvantage when it came to keeping up with new research in Science, reading up books on Science from abroad (always in English), and being competitive in Scientific research & discoveries etc.
These were thoughtless and careless overly speedy acts by the then govts. harmful to the overall wellbeing of the Country and the People. If the same actions were done in a phased out manner with fariplay, then the yield from such acts would have been better.
The present Yahap folk continue in the same thoughtless and careless manner. We are forced to think that the Ranil led UNP which leads the Yahap folk, appear to be most interested in downing the country economically as well as perhaps even neo-Colonising it.

Aberrant leadership of Ranil Shriyan Wickramasinghe in UNP that was once patriotic and national but is now reduced to a servile and vocal outfit beholden to foreign powers and agencies that are hellbent on destablizing Sri Lanka. Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe’s manifesto is always paving the way for mortgaging Sri Lanka to international community, World Bank, IMF and the multinational corporations.
Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe ordered and witnessed the execution of hundreds of innocent young men from Kelaniya area including prominent human rights lawyer Wijedasa Liyanarachchi who died as a result in September 1988, in his illegal torture centre maintained by the police Counter Subversive Unit (CSU) headed by Douglas Peiris who was directly responsible for the torture at the Batalanda Housing Scheme, during the height of the People’s Liberation Front (JVP) insurrection between 1988 and 1990 which was confirmed by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry which comprised retired judges. Since Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe committed these horrendous crimes in Batalanda, Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe had to abandon not only his electorate of Biyagama, but also the Gampaha District. Since these murders Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe is an MP without an electorate – thanks to his uncle Junius Richard Jeyawardene’s constitution.
Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe recruited a convicted killer and hardcore criminal Gonawala Sunil as his secretary. Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe’s secretary Gonawala Sunil went around killing and intimidating people Ranil Wickremesinghe wanted to be silenced. When Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe was the education minister, officials at the education ministry used to call Gonawala Sunil as Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe’s husband. Gonawala Sunil is one of the earliest criminal gang leaders in Sri Lankan underworld. Gonawala Sunil had major connections with the UNP government at that time. Gonawala Sunil was convicted of the murder, and was serving in prison when he was famously released on a presidential pardon given by President Junius Richard Jayewardene just before the 1982 presidential election on the advice of Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe. Gonawala Sunil was involved in the massacare of 53 prisoners at Welikada Prison in 1983 and gang raping a 14 year old girl in 1982.
The Batalanda Commission report recommended that Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe’s civil rights be removed. Gonawala Sunil also managed to drill into a pipeline from the refinery which was sending gasoline to Kolonnawa. He was sucking it up and selling it on the black market. Again who protected him from prosecution? !! Finally a rival gang member shot him. That was the end of the strange relationship between Gonawela Sunil and RW.
Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe’s corruption in “LH Plantations” has been highlighted with excruciating details by his very close friend Mangala Pinsiri Samaraweera. Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe’s very close family members own several media outlets which promote Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe and help to prolong Ranil Shriyan Wickremesinghe’s political survival.
Ranil Wickremasinghe when he was Prime Minister under the Presidency of Chandrika Kumaranatunga went to Singapore and Signed a Ceasefire agreement with the LTTE. The contents of this document was not even divulged to the House of Representatives. This was with the connivance of Erik Solhein.
During this period the Deep Penetration unit of the Army was harassing the LTTE and taking out their cadres one by one. The LTTE greatly feared this unit of army commandos. Ranil agreed to arrest this group under false pretenses and give out their identities to the LTTE. This was carried out with the help of John Amaratunge who was the Home Minister at the time. They brought a group of Police from Kandy and arrested all the commandos, took their photographs and published in the newspapers with detailed information and exposed them to the LTTE. The Army Commander had to go to the Court House in Kandy and rescue these Commandos, but the damage had been done. The LTTE killed all these Brave Commandos one by one. This is the Greatest Betrayal in the History of Sri Lanka.
WikiLeak database released a cable classified as “CONFIDENTIAL” analyses the Sri Lanka’s foreign policy under Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. The cable written on May 29, 2003 by the US Ambassador to Colombo E. Ashley Wills.
Ambassador Wills wrote “Moreover, Wickremesinghe, who comes from a very wealthy busi.ness family, is a strong advocate of free enterprise and strongly opposed to the disastrous socialist policies of former governments. Wickremesinghe is also surprisingly knowledgeable about U.S. history and politics; he is an avid reader about the American Civil War, U.S. military history, and U.S. legislation. The prime minister’s pro-U.S. views also emerge out of his political calculus that Sri Lanka needs the support of the international community, especially the U.S., to constrain the Tamil Tigers. With the peace process his government’s number one priority bar none, the prime minister has worked hard to secure U.S. support for his efforts in this area from very early on in his tenure.”

1. (C) SUMMARY: Since coming to power, PM Wickremesinghe has taken steps to steer Sri Lankan foreign policy closer to the U.S. In doing this, he has had successes, including the signing of an ICC waiver with the U.S. and in regard to Iraq where the GSL steered a constructive course. Moreover, one of his key ministers recently proposed that the GSL take the lead in forming some sort of counterweight to NAM. That said, the PM’s initiative has faced stiff resistance from MFA bureaucrats. In addition, the president and Opposition, backed by much of the press and the intelligentsia, have cut into his room for maneuver via their generally anti-U.S. biases.
2. (C) In the post-Iraq war environment, we think the GSL will continue to want to draw closer to the U.S. With the PM facing a precarious cohabitation situation, however, additional steps toward the USG will have to be carefully plotted out. Nonetheless, with Sri Lanka facing a difficult peace process and needing help to constrain the Tamil Tigers, we think the larger trend in the country provides ballast for the PM’s pro-U.S. proclivities.

What is needed in Lanka is not Ranil & his sell out wishes, but the balancing of the Economy.
Europe turned to Socialism after two world wars. Both WW started in Europe. There is a lesson here.
Lanka needs to have a balance with the ratio of Socialism : Capitalism, with more of the Socialism factor. Planners have to bear in mind that the bulk of the people want job security, like a steady govt job with a pension. The bulk of the population anywhere in the world are not Entrepreneurs. Only a very small percentage are true Entrepreneurs.
Also, all essential services are best handled by the State, particularly in a small country like Lanka – this is a part of Economic Theory.
Co-operatives are ideal for a small country like Lanka – over 15% of businesses even in USA are Co-ops.

The redistribution of the benefits of a person’s initiative and hard work to all the non-performing lotus eaters in a business is a sure fire way to kill all entrepreneurial initiative. That is why, the best people in companies in Silicon Valley leave to form their own companies in which they can have more control over their own ideas and the benefits that accrue from success.
If Sri Lanka became a socialist/cooperatives dominated economy, it will soon become another economic basket case dependent on charitable handouts from foreign nations and expatriates for survival.
While a mix of socialist/cooperative and capiltalist/competitive businesses can co-exist, and would be desirable as a safety fuse to accommodate the needs of the most vulnerable people in a socio-economic system, I seriously doubt that a dominantly co-operative economy, managed by consensus of business committees, can be truly entrepreneurial and create wealth.
For example, Sirimavo Bandaranaike’s policies on residential properties completely halted the building of rental houses in Sri Lanka, people built one home for themselves, and kept their money hidden in their matteresses! As a result, building homes to house the people became the government’s responsibility, and a large drain on the national budget!
Socialist/cooperative approaches have been tried before, and have failed DISASTROUSLY even in the former Soviet Union, Communist China, pre-Thatcher Britain, and elsewhere too numerous to mention. Today, even the Chinese who howled that the “East is Red!” proclaim with equal conviction that “It is Glorious to be Rich!” as in a capitalist/competitive system that is ushering in a standard of living previously not even dreamed of in China!

I do totally agree with you that TOTAL Socialism does not work anywhere – it ends up in Communism. TOTAL Capitalism does not work either – it ends up with Fascism.
What I said was that it has to be a MIX of Socialism : Capitalism. It requires a Economic Genius to find the balance.

We can see that the new Gov of the CB, Indrajit Coomaraswamy, has already said that LABOR COSTS are too high in Lanka. Where is this statement headed ? Does it mean import MORE cheap Tamil Dalit Labor from Tamil Nadu ???

I think that you are correct in identifying the thrust of his labor costs comment as the TIP OF THE ICEBERG of advocating wholesale importation of workers from India into Sri Lanka, perhaps via agreements like the ETCA and new legislation.
Even as Britain exits the EU primarily in opposition to loss of sovereignty and uncontrolled immigration, and more European nations are pondering similar moves, this guy is setting the stage for incorporating Sri Lanka into the Greater India agenda.
I read an article today about how Indian Muslim women are still being divorced by men by saying “talaq” meaning divorce three times. Muslim Indian women have no protection whatever from the Indian go ernments against such life destroying abuse, and we Sri Lankans are supposed to integrate our nation into such an unholy society rife with such inequities? These Indians preaching holier than thou homilies to us about non-existent discrimination against Tamils are discriminating against over 80 million Muslims in India without batting an eyelid. BLOODY HYPOCRITES!
These kinds of moves to join Sri Lanka to India at thr hip and gradually flood our country with Indians must be RESISTED tooth and nail at all costs!

A Reminder to the Readers :
* There are over 15 Million Tamil Dalits in Tamil Nadu who have suffered discrimination for over 3,000 yrs. These disgruntled people will always try to leave Tamil Nadu for better pastures abroad where they will NOT have the Caste stamp on their birth certificates.
Since Sri Lanka is a close neighbor of the sub-state of Tamil Nadu, with the Tamil language in place, no Caste stamp on the birth certificates, jobs, free education & health care, etc., they will always attempt to leave Tamil Nadu and cross over to Lanka, if at all possible. All the sub-states of INDIA next to Tamil Nadu protect themselves from Tamil invasions by not having the Tamil language as an official language in those states viz Karnataka, Kerala & Andrapradesh.
This is the reason why Lanka has so many thousands and thousands of ILLEGAL migrants from Tamil Nadu.
* Next, the Maldives may go under sea water due to Climate Change and rising sea levels. So, the Maldivians too are seeking new homelands.
That is why Lanka must maintain law & order and also have strong Armed Forces on a long term basis.
Begs the question why it is that the Ranil led UNP led Yahap is downsizing the armed forces and humiliaring our heroes, plus downing of Lanka’s Central Bank with two bond scams ….
Who is due to gain from all this negative activity in Lanka ??

Because Sri Lanka is a sort of Gateway to SE Asia and has ports, Lanka is vulnerable to Colonisation too. We have had nearly 500 yrs of Colonisation, during which times, if the Socio-Economics/Culture spheres of this Buddhist Nation is put into some sort of balance sheet, growth of sorts did happen during colonial times, but at high costs to HR & Human Value System of the nation.
After so called Independence from Coloniser Britain in 1948, Sri Lankans have been struggling to find new balance in Socio-Economics/Culture spheres.
It is high time all concerned Lankans got together to formulate a long term scheme (using UN Resolutions & Treaties) to protect Lanka from being taken over by foreign sources.
