The observation was made by MP Bandula Gunawardena at a press conference held in Colombo this afternoon (01).

He also went on to say that steps should be taken to arrest the directors of the Perpetual Treasuries Ltd. ”The Prime Minister should resign from his post, and Arjuna Mahendran should be arrested,” he insisted.
Meanwhile, former Foreign Minister G.L. Peiris while speaking at the press conference asserted that the President has the authority to dismiss the Prime Minister, if Ranil Wickremesinghe is unwilling to resign.

I have to disagree with G L Peiris. This whole fraud is managed by India and Indian colonial parasites. What was Ranil doing in the US few months before the election. Who organized his study and speaking round there . He was doing some studies there. Who was there. Ranil has said one of his school mates was there. I am sure there were more than one of school mates were there. Was Arjun or his friends were there? Were there old girls of St Bridget?
What is happening in the land now has been well planned before Sirisena was voted in.
People will think I am paranoid about India, but India is directly involved with all matters in Indian colonies.

The GREAT CENTRAL BANK ROBBERY was INITIATED, ORCHESTRATED and PROFITED FROM by the Prime Minister of the YAMAPALANAYA government to fill the UNPATRIOTIC party’s coffers to enable a PERMANENT HOLD upon the nation’s governance.
That is why Ranil proposed a citizen of a FOREIGN NATION and a Tamil having allegiances to a separatist community to boot, for the position of Governor of the Central Bank.
Then Ranil resisted ALL DEMANDS to NOT EXTEND the term of Mahendran as Governor once the Bond Scam was revealed by DEW Gunasekara.
When Ranil failed to get his term extended, and another person was appointed, Ranil appointed the same crook as a National Advisor to the Prime Minister.
Finally, when ALL WAS EXPOSED in the COPE report, Ranil failed to fulfill his bounded duty to protect the national interest and let Mahendran FLEE THE COUNTRY, no doubt to place as many barriers as possible against his arrest and interrogation as a witness and defendant by the law authorities. In that way, he not only failed in his duty as prime minister, but also aided and abetted a criminal to escape the law. As a Singaporean citizen, it will not be nearly impossible to extradite Mahendran to Sri Lanka, with or without the aid of Interpol. This is an ASTOUNDING DERELICTION of duty at best, and CRIMINAL COLLABORATION at worSt in a crime of massive proportion that affects the financial health of the nation.
If Ranil has a shred of self-respect he should RESIGN IMMEDIATELY, and FAILING THAT, President Aiyooo Sirisena should DISMISS HIM. Bond that, the President should give orders for the immediate ARREST of Aloysious Mahendran and the Board of Directors of his company, and ORDER the Dept of Immigration and Emigration to IMPOUND the Passports, and PREVENT THE DEPARTURE from the Country of ANY and ALL individuals, upto and including the PRIME MINISTER Ranil Wickramasinghe, who are even REMOTELY CONNECTED to this GRAND THEFT of the nation’s TREASURE!

SA Kumar has referred to a TE (Tamil Elam) and NEP (North Eastern Province. There is no such region called Tamil Elam, other than in the minds of those supporting the creation of such an entity.
Equally wrong is to refer to a non-existent NEP, which was only the attempted merger of two provinces by India, but miserably failed as no referendum was held within the time, as was stipulated in the agreement JR entered under duress. So, unless we want to emulate Wigneswaran and try to covertly and cunningly give legitimacy to these illegal creations, let us not use such references.
