President Mahinda Rajapakshe, even if no other Sri Lankan is grateful and even if I am the only one, I am still very grateful and thank you from the bottom of my heart for rehabilitating the country after the tsunami, for ending the war and bringing in peace, for preserving the all important UNITARY STATE not just as a label but very honestly in content too ( as in a totally unitary constitution with limited powers to the provincial councils), for developing the country whether North, East, West, South or the Centre to a comfortable level so that each citizen can live a comfortable life. One other thing, all citizens were free to live wherever they wanted within the country when you were in power and the economy was doing quite well too.
As a socialist I am grateful for you always following people friendly, state centred, economic policies and as an environmentalist you may be a little short on your performance there (due to you probably knot being much informed about these issues) but I know that by and large the natural environment was preserved during your time as president.
Have a happy birthday and enjoy this special day.

The birth of a Great man in a country is not frequent. There is a space of time between their births. They are born to Save the country from impending disasters. Sri Lanka is a unique country-sacred by its contact with the Compassionate Buddha. Sri Lanka treasures the teachings of the Compassionate Buddha.
Mahinda Rajapakse is one of these great men who was born to redeem Sri Lanka when it was about to be mutilated, divided and disappear in form and name.
Great men where ever they are born are not acclaimed as great, the acclamation of their greatness comes years after they have disappeared. But people with gratitude recognise the greatness of a man immediately and remain attached to him through thick and thing.
In the mean time there will be false saviours coming as saviours of the nation, to scandalise, defame, denigrate and sully the name of the Great.
We wish our great son of mother Lanka -Mahinda Rajapakse long life, health and happiness and the strength to bring back this country once again before it disappears into the abyss of disaster.

The Sirisena/Ranil government does not know whether they are coming or going. The country’s economy has gone backwards and from a leading position in development, it has dropped to rock bottom due to corruption, incompetence and treachery. Therefore, on his 70th birthday we should wish President Rajapakse a long and healthy life and an early return to the helm of the nation to once again steer it to peace and prosperity.

I know how your “humanity” works!
You demonized, undermined and broadcast fake allegations against the greatest, most self-sacrificing, most patriotic, most decent and honourable leader we Sri Lankans have had in living memory, and helped to OUST him in favor of an unpatriotic puppet Yamapalanaya that is busily DISMANTLING our Motherland.
In the process, you subjected him and his patriotic family to great danger, imprisonment on false allegations of corruption, and even being hauled off to international courts on war-crimes for defending his country and his people as he had sworn to do as the elected President of his country.
Yes, I am sure that President Mahinda Rajapaksa will value your humanity in offering him “happy birthday” wishes now.
President Rajapaksa may forgive you, but the TRUE PATRIOTS of Lanka will not.

They hate not the people but their high handed policies.Here we hate the current Govt politicians as well as their Sudda backed policies. The most crooked Govt in history. Thank god our great leader Mahinda came back to win the hearts and minds of the ordinary people again.We wish him “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” and may Lord Buddha and the Gods give him strength, will power and backbone to save Motherlanka from Para Suddas and the Indian parasites. Until he takes the reigns to his hands we cannot be sure that our nation will last long as one nation because of the evil minds who rule this country. The current hypocrites work as per west advise. They come and educate them how to govern and how to stop the village boy Mahinda coming to power. No one can stop his comeback, no one because this is a Buddhist nation who believes in truth.
