The most pertinent points in the Memo are:

i.             It could be a Suicidal Attack

ii.           Attributed to Muslim extremists outfit.

Why authorities failed to prevent the attack? What were the possible reasons?

a.     To expose the President’s weaknesses as the Minister in charge of Law and Order;

b.    The underlying impression that the attack could be against a prominent Presidential candidate;

c.     To delay Presidential and General Elections under the pretext that the political atmosphere is not conducive for mass gatherings during elections;

d.     Reluctance to antagonize Muslim voters and MPs;

e.     To interfere with the pending investigations on the alleged assassination  of the President and former DS.

The opposition should move a vote of no confidence on the government immediately, as neither the President nor Prime Minister will step down otherwise.

    “Beware of Greeks bearing gifts”. So, the saying goes.

    Millenium project wants to give a grant of $ 480 million to Sr Lanka, this is what minister Mangala announced yesterday. We do not consider US an enemy of our country; in fact it is our biggest trading partner. But we know that government machinery in that country is also in disarray. Their president Mr. Trump is having a tough time in managing that country. So, we cannot believe every thing that comes out of that country is beneficial to us.

    Considering those who are trying hard to get it going, my gut feeling is that it is something inimical to our nation. It was Raj Rajaratnum’s outfit that was instrumental in getting the UNP government established and then robbed the central bank. After Arjuna Mahendran was fired they got Raj’s adviser appointed as the successor. What did MR’s outfit do?. Nothing. Dinesh Gunawardena even praised him as he was his Royal College buddy. And what did the new CB governor do?. Sold ETI, a very valuable SL company that belonged to a prominent Sinhala family to an LTTE outfit bypassing a better bid by a local Sinhala group and we all know the fate of depositors, practically all Sinhalese, who are now being sent from pillar to post to get their investments back.

    If the bomb blasts is the first step, the second will be the bringing in of various groups in this Millenium project. It has been proven by MP Wimal Weerawansa that they are operating in Temple Trees under the PM. According to today’s Sunday Observer one of the jobs they are going to handle is Surveying of all lands and parceling the lots with all the particulars with a view to selling them to prospective buyers. It is the Trimble Inc. of USA that is going to undertake the job. Our surveyors manged to keep these people out so far.

    Who are these Trimble Inc.?. It was established by Richard Trimble, an ex-engineer in Hewlett Packard with two of colleagues, in the 80s using the money he got by mortgaging his apartment. He is a hardworking and a resilient fellow and built his company worth billions today mainly through the GPS technology in which he was a pioneer.

    However all that is beside the point. Why we should oppose this is because their regional office is in Hariyana, India. And it was Paskralingam an LTTE supporter. Recently when I tried to get some info about an expensive software package now owned by Trimble, I found the guy whose name and number was given non cooperative. So, if Trible gets our survey department’s job all employees in survey dept. will be working under Indians and they will be controlling our country’s sensitive data. It is only Hon. Weerawansa who had the guts to express his opposition to this impending danger. It is up to the opposition led by MR not to allow prez to give into the influence peddlers to have their way. There may be some Sinhala business men also behind this move, but it should be stopped by all means during this government remaining few months because of the above mentioned reason.

  2. aloy Says:

    Sorry, please correct as “And it was Paskralingam an LTTE supporter who initiated this project at the beginning when he was in the Economic Management Team.”

  3. Christie Says:

    The dead locals are Sinhalese Christians and Muslims both religions Hinduthwa wants out of India and its neighbors.
    India knew the locations and even the names of the bombers and they had a local group in South India of the same names.
    It is Tirupati that spared the Taj hotel? I am sure Sirisena prayed for it!
    Taj is frequented by our king makers and kings like Chandrika, Atul Keshap of the days gone by; local Indians and Indian from overseas.
    Taj is part of TATA and our tea is next on the line with Tetley’s.
    India is good at covert operations; Jeppos and Tamil Tigers both killed Sinhalese.
