India, Sri Lanka, Turkey and Afghanistan are among the countries where the Islamic State (IS) terror group has found a footing, as its influence has diminished drastically across its territory of origin in Iraq and Syria, the Hindustan Times reported on Friday quoting a leading conflict monitor.

According to data released by Armed Conflict Location and Event Data (ACLED), a US-based conflict monitoring and crisis mapping body, IS has this year regrouped and carried out more activity outside of West Asia than inside it for the first time,

The IS greeted its loss of territory in Iraq and Syria in 2018 with an expanded global presence in 2019,” said the ACLED report titled Branching Out: Islamic State’s Continued Expansion.

Through the first five months this year, the IS has placed unprecedented emphasis on its global operations… In his first video in five years (after the Sri Lanka Easter bombings in April), jihadist leader Abubakr al-Baghdadi focused largely on the group’s activity in South Asia, North, West and Central Asia,” it said.

    Is Mohammed Saharan REALLY DEAD?

His wife is giving SECRET statements in Court. What about?

Has his body been identified beyond all doubt through incontrovertible DNA evidence with an ironclad chain of custody?

Leaders of terrorist groups RARELY commit suicide during in their FIRST operation, leaving the group leaderless and at sea! For example, Osama bin Laden did all he could to survive the fallout from 9/11.

Therefore, I ask whether a COVER STORY was created to show he died as a suicide bomber, whereas he is alive and well and is leading the organization from hiding? The Turkish Ambassador to Sri Lanka said the same thing recently.

    FOOD FOR THOUGHT, I think!

Suicide bomber Saharan’s wife gives secret statement in court

Aug 15, Colombo: Abdul Cader Fatima Hadiya, wife of Mohammed Saharan, the leader of the National Thowheed Jammath organization and the suicide bomber who attacked the Shangri-La hotel in Colombo on Easter Sunday, made a secret statement today before the Colombo Fort Magistrate.

She made this statement when the post mortem examination of the two suicide bombers at the Shangri-La Hotel Mohammed Saharan and Mohammed Ibrahim Ilham Ahmed was held before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake today (August 15).

Fatima Hadiya has made the confession for over an hour in the official room of Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake.

Saharan’s wife and her 4-year-old daughter Mohammed Zahran Rukia, were taken to court amid tight security.

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) also produced Yusuf Mohammed Ibrahim, the father of the other suicide bomber Mohammed Ibrahim Ilham and his brothers Mohammed Ibrahim Iflal Ahmed and Mohammed Ibrahim Ismail Ahmed before the Magistrate today to provide evidence at the post mortem examination.

The case will be taken up again on the 19th.

I agree with Ananda. It seems very odd that leader of the organization commit suicide bombing as their first act. This is a cover up. UNP leaders must know the truth.
