Animal kingdom and monkey business

We are fighting Corona, which is a virus supposedly originated from animals.

We are also supposed to be descendants of monkeys, and we are ruining the environment and forests in the name of development. Animals may be trying to eradicate their harmful descendants of their own by introducing these dreadful viruses. Elephants including peacocks often ruin crops trying to chase the human species away. Lately, urban monkeys around the cities in our country  in large numbers are ruining our crops .i myself planted plantains, avocado, mangoes, Kadju, Rambutan, etc and I could not consume a single variable because  the monkeys keep eating them

Planted manioc is often eaten by porcupines and large mice

A large number of parrots destroy long bean plants

The government wants the people to grow vegetables but the animals keep attacking the crops

One of these days crows and monkeys may bring another decease and we will be helpless

As Buddhism preaches, we may have to meditate and convince ourselves and to live with the idea of ending the Sansara and end of reincarnation and leave the world to the original owners of this planet

DR. SARATH ! The Large mice that you are referring to, the Bandikoots, were eaten by the tamil labourers. They set traps and catch them, almost on a daily basis. I know they ruined the Manioc plants we had in our garden at Nawala. We had a Kaabaranka tree, and when the fruits are ripening, we used to watch atleast 15-20 Parrots enjoying them. The fruits were sweet and sour. Also the fruits were used to shine brassware.

Sure, porcupines, mice, parrots, crows and monkeys should live, so do people.
