Most of the cosmetic products marketed today do not have the beneficial effects the claim to have. Some may be beneficial
They are simply marketing ploys. I remember the days when mostly what was available was Ponds Cold Cream and Vanishing cream. I use to joke with sisters, after using Vanishing cream, that I can still see them as they have not vanished.
It may be necessary import some cosmetics, if they cannot be made in Sri Lanka and not all brand with dubious claims of benefits. Today beauty is not skin deep but make up deep.
