Public veneration of Deegawapiya Relics at Minuwangoda Rajamaha Viharaya

The exposition of the Sacred Omniscient Relics of Deegawapiya Stupa and the Crest-Gem commenced at Minuwangoda Rajamaha Viharaya today (Jan 23). These revered articles will remain there until the morning of January 25.
Further, arrangements have been made for the public veneration of these revered articles at the Diwulapitiya Sri Jothikaramaya, Katuwagoda from January 25 to 27, at Mirigama Shasanawardhana Piriwen Maha Viharaya from 27 to 29 and at Maddepola Raja Maha Viharaya, Giriulla from 29 to 31.
The ‘Deegawapiya Trust Fund’ is known for its philanthropic endeavours in favour of the Deegawapiya restoration project that has been launched to generate funds to restore the former glory of Deegawapiya Stupa, which was damaged due to various invasions.
Hence, the Devotees have the opportunity to witness and worship the Sacred Omniscient Relics and they also can support this meritorious act by making financial contributions to the restoration project.
