About Tamils
How many Tamils live in Colombo?
33% of total population (one third) (2011 estimate)
How many Tamils live in Southern parts of Sri Lanka?
12.4% of total population (2011 estimate)
How many Tamils are employed in Sri Lankan companies in the southern part? (See the number of high caliber Tamils in Sri Lankan private hospitals, banking sector, hotel trade, export import trade, and other industries viz. garment and beverage)
Do they experience any hardship professionally due to ethnicity? If so, how come they hold such high positions?
See how many Tamil kids are getting educated in International schools in Colombo and Kandy? They have outnumbered all the other ethnicities together.
Royal college has Tamil medium branch under an asst. principal, DS has Tamil medium branch under an asst. principal. So many other leading Sinhala government schools in the country have Tamil medium and they share equal opportunities. Private schools like St. Thomas ‘, Trinity etc have quite a large number of Tamil students.
How many Tamil major schools have Sinhala medium? None !!!
Travel via Wellawatte, Dematagoda, Dehiwala, Kotahena etc and see the number of Tamils sharing the comforts.
Go to Pettah market and Fort. Walk along the streets and see how many Tamils are doing various types of business there.
Start from Kotahena and travel passing Dehiwala. Sinhala shops are outnumbered by Tamil traders. I don’t see any hardship put on them.
Get into a bus in any part of the country and listen how many speak in Tamil.
Try to find a single Sinhala board in Wellawatte. All are Tamil and English.
How many Sinhala shops/trades are seen in the northern and eastern province? Why don’t you visit and see?
Go to a government University. Let’s say University of Colombo. See the number of Tamil students. How smoothly they study? They share equal opportunities. See the number of Tamil lecturers. How much they are privileged? They share equal opportunities. They have separate Tamil Unions, their cultural events, their religious events. I never ever saw them being humiliated or harassed by Sinhalese,
except they themselves have discriminations saying Jaffna Tamil, Baticaloa Tamil, and Upcountry Tamil.
How many
Kovils are there in Colombo itself? Nearly 200 Kovils!!!
See the number of Sinhalese visiting Kovils and Tamil shops. Doesn’t it display the harmony?
What is the ethnic proportion of Tamils in Sri Lanka?
8.5%
How many Tamil representatives are in the parliament? 23 out of 225 total seats, that is
more than 10%
Can a Tamil settle down in any area of the country including southern part?
Yes
Reason?
The Sri Lankan constitution has secured the right and freedom of any citizen to live in any part of the country
Jaffna and Trincomalee have ports, heavy industries, bus stations, railway stations, radio and TV broadcasting stations, universities and so many other facilities equaling to Colombo.
Now about Sinhalese
How many Sinhalese live in Jaffna?
0.005% (only 33 people head wise!!) How many Sinhalese live in the Northern part of Sri Lanka?
Only 1.04 % of total population
How many Sinhalese live in Baticaloa? Only 0.46% of total population.
How many Sinhalese are in the Eastern part of Sri Lanka?
Only 21.64% total population

Can a Sinhalese travel unharmed in Northern Sri Lanka?

Can a Sinhalese settle down in the northern part of the country?
No!!
Reason?
Because you are a Sinhalese. According to ‘Thesawalamai’ law, Northern Province is meant for Tamils only and you are not entitled to buy lands there as a Sinhalese!!!!
Consider these proven statistics. (You can work your own statistics and check if not satisfied!!) If somebody can come up with numbers and percentages, it, undoubtedly, reveals the truth.
This is what we should call rational. Our generation should not waste time on arguing on bullshit and
what is not our real ground level experience.
Now, answer me. Where is ethnic cleansing? Who are doing ethnic cleansing?
Now, for the UNO, UNHCR, US Congress, the British Parliament and ALL THE WESTERN POWERS CONCERNED:-
It is up to you to analyze and understand the real facts, rather than just believing propaganda like”GENOCIDE” that is just “invented propaganda” to mislead you.
Americans didn’t know they were under attack by Osama Bin Laden, until it happened! The British forces started shooting innocent people, mistaking them for terrorists (they couldn’t notice the difference) So, as a matter of fact, how on earth could they understand what’s happening thousands of miles away, in Sri Lanka ?!!!
Cnl. Gadaafi was killed brutally in front of camera eyes. How do you define it taking the same stance? Nowadays Gadaafi affiliates are shot at in a queue. Is not that genocide?
In the Colonial Ceylon, several thousands of Sinhala people were brutally murdered by British colonists in 1818 and 1848 by devastating the villages. It is a well documented GENOCIDE in the history.
If you cannot understand basic facts and wish to CONTINUE THE ROLE OF BLIND FOLDED, we suggest you to MIND YOUR OWN BLOODY BUSINESS.

As a SL patriotic Tamil from the north who undertook pro-SL military activities I can say Tamils have been turned into PARASITES because KIND HEARTED SINGHALESE give into Tamil demands.
Look at Tamils in Endia? Do they enjoy so much as SL Tamils do? NO! Why? Because Endians don’t entertain PARASITE demands. Tamil is not even an official language in Endia despite 72,000,000 Tamils!! Then they say WHAT CAN’T BE CURED MUST BE ENDURED and remain without creating ethnic problem nonsense.
Tamils have been turned into parasites by kind hearted Singhalese who GIVE INTO nonsensical Tamil demands.
REMOVE Tamil as an official and national language. FORCE SINGHALA only on ALL SL people. Then this parasite syndrome will cure. It is like giving an injection to a kid. He will cry, hate it, get fever. But in the LONG RUN will save his life. If a “itha onda gaani emathaama budding” comes along and “SAVE” the kid from the HORRORS of the genocidal injection, it is the kid who will suffer.

Well said the ground level truth of Sri Lanka. The problem is how many of our Sinhela politicians have understood this situation?. They are the people who to take those facts to the international community starting from their home parliament.
What are those fools doing? Do they have any basic political policies to secure the country they live in?
Their only policy is to jump over to the side where they get more benefits from regardless what happens to the country and Sinhela nation. It’s shame on them.
All of those blind fools have to re think about their own country before they vote as a part to the up coming devastating 19th amendment.

As mentioned before, there is no ethnic problem in SL. The ethnic problem is for politicians only. Lot of us have friends and family from all communities.
I hear Arjuna Mahendran is a nephew of RW and the two daughters in law of Vigneswaran are Sinhalese. So what is this problem they are trying to find solutions.
Allow everybody to live in harmony.

I have been promoting these fact US Senate and Sate Department. But our embassies can disseminate these figures efficiently. They are too timid. One I attended a lecture by Sarawan muttu and Hotuva and I argued that SL does not have a ethnic problem but the audience was not very receptive because the Tamil propaganda so efficient and majority does not know the real truth.
