Colombo, July 14 (newsin.asia): The Indian cabinet of India, chaired by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has granted approval to declare Kushinagar Airport in Uttar Pradesh as an International Airport.

Considered one of the four main sacred places associated with Lord Buddha, Kushinagar is believed to be the site where the Buddha attained ‘parinirvana’.

A colossal reclining statue of Lord Buddha from the 5th Century at the Mahaparinirvana Temple pays homage to this.

The Ramabhar Stupa, also known as the Mukutbandhan Chaitya is said to be the cremation place of Lord Buddha, and is located in the vicinity of the Mahaparinirvana Temple.

The Kushinagar district is also home to numerous other monasteries and Buddhist cultural sites. The decision to declare Kushinagar airport as an International airport, will provide Buddhist pilgrims, historians and cultural enthusiasts the opportunity to comfortably explore not only Kushinagar, but also other historically significant locations such as Lumbini, Kapilavastu and Sravasti, which are in close proximity, the Indian High Commission said in a press release on Wednesday.

  1. Ancient Sinhalaya Says:

All the problems the world facing today are due to population explosion and religions of conveniences which do not
regard sins as sins and encouraging people not to care about the environment and living things.

All the crimes (sins) any two legged creature can do anywhere under the sun:
1 killing (animals included? only in Buddhism of course)
    2 stealing
    3 sexual misconduct
    4 lying
    5 alcohol/drug abuse
While the above five is used as the penal code in every country under the sun, refrain from them is Buddhism’s
Five Precepts. The Buddha also preached, health is wealth. How appropriate for a covid19-scared world? What
The Buddha has preached science has been proving again and again. But, selfish, greedy, dishonest two
legged creatures don’t want to know. Their attitude is, oh we pray to our mythical gods daily/weekly and he is
    fine with it.

The Buddha preached, people who sin pay for their sins in the animal world for 100s of 1000s of lifetimes before
being ‘promoted’ to be two legged creature again (Darwin’s Theory of Evolution?). The Buddha also preached,
the universe is a vast vast vast place and every universe life time a Buddha is born to guide the two legged
creatures in the right path and eventually stop being reborn.

The Buddha touched all the civilisations at the time and iran, afganisthan, pakisthan, bangladesh, malaysia and
indonesia used to be Buddhist countries before the fastest breeding religion aka religion of violence mussies
got there with their baby machine wives. They multiplied and multiplied and turned them all to mussies countries
within a few hundred years. Sri Lanka is fast going down the same route to become a mussie country thanks to
traitor Sinhalese politicians who worship mussies for their votes only to find the mussies promoting even more
mass multiplying. Mussies know it is the numbers (votes) what matters in this money-ruling, selfish, uncaring, greedy world.
