ශ්රී ලංකා සංචාරක අංශය ප්රවර්ධනය කිරීම ලෝක ප්රසිද්ධ ව්යාපාර මාධ්ය ආයතනයක බ්ලූම්බර්ග් සමඟ ඇමරිකානු ඩොලර් මිලියන 02 ක් ප්රවර්ධන වැඩසටහන එළඹීමට සූදානම්, ශ්රී ලංකා සංචාරක ප්රවර්ධන කාර්යාංශයේ සභාපති රොහාන්ත අතුකෝරාල මහතා පැවසීය.
මෙම ප්රවර්ධන වැඩසටහන ව්යාපාරය මේ වසරේ මාස හයක් පමණක් සඳහා වනු ඇත. බ්ලූම්බර්ග් රූපවාහිනී රටවල් 40 කට අධික වන අතර, විකාශය කිරීමට ලොව පුරා 300 කට අධික නිවාස ළඟාවේ.
මෙම උද්ඝෝෂනය ආරම්භක මාස හය ශ්රී ලංකාවේ ප්රතිරූපය ප්රවර්ධනය කැපවී කරන බව අතුකෝරල සඳහන් කරයි.
Sri Lanka is prepared to enter into a USD 02 million promotional campaign with world renowned business media institution Bloomberg to promote the islands tourism sector, said Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau Chairman Rohantha Athukorala.
This promotion campaign would be for only one quarter of the year. Bloomberg Television is telecast to over 40 countries and reaches over 300 homes world-wide.
Athukorala said the initial six months of this campaign would be committed towards promoting Sri Lanka’s image.
