Ranil Wickramasinghe is the Prime Minister of President Maitripala Sirisena, but not of the people of Sri Lanka

Ranil Wickramasinghe is not the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka as he has been appointed a Prime Minister in terms of an agreement signed with Maitripala Sirisena before he became the President.
Being sworn in as the Executive President does not give Maitripala Sirisena the right to act in breach of the Constitution of Sri Lanka to keep the pre-election agreements he entered into in his private capacity. It follows that, to sworn in Ranil Wickramasinghe as the Prime Minister is in breach of the Constitution of Sri Lanka.
Neither has Maitripala Sirisena as the executive President the right to take on himself the powers of the Judiciary which he did in appointing and sacking Chief Justices. Therefore, all such acts of President Maitripala Sirisena are ultra vires.
Ranil Wickramasinghe is a lackey of the USA ,the West, and India. Modi has failed India as much as Barrack Obama failed America.
Americans were tired of war mongering under Bush administration and wanted America take a different path to save their children dying in foreign wars. Therefore they elected Barrack Obama to end foreign wars, and bring back American soldiers-their children, to usher in a much desired peace to America. But he has miserably failed the American people realise their hopes of a peaceful existence without sacrificing their children to win foreign wars.
The people of the world outside America also expected America under Barrack Obama to follow a non aggressive people friendly foreign policy and bring peace to the world.
But he has made aggression his policy, human rights his arm to subjugate developing countries, regime change to keep developing countries under QAmezrican control, imposing sanctions to keep rival nations like Russia in check, setting up puppet regimes in Asia to bar China’s influence on developing nations, and stop China’s use of southern seas to facilitate its transport of oil. A means to cripple China’s vast economic development, as using sanctions to cripple Russian economy.
India thought Modi would take India away from subservience to USA and follow an independent foreign policy developing closer ties with Asian Nations and Russia. But Modi’s India seems to be caught in the American loop against China and Russia. India is wary of China’s growing economic strength, and its influence in the world and in its neighbourhood. Therefore India is now hand in glove with American Imperialism to stop the growing influence of China- India’s self imposed nightmare.
It is here we see our man Ranil Wickramasinghe playing the role of the lackey of the USA and the white west falling into the trap of India’s plan of subverting Sri Lanka’s fast growing economic strength.
However, under Yahapalanaya of Maitripala and Ranil Sri Lanka will lose its identity as the « fast growing economic strength ». It will despite Ranil’s
Finance Minister’s assurance, fall back to what it was before 2005.
The people rejected Ranil Wickramasinghe 29 times at elections as they knew his lack of patriotic allegiance to Sri Lanka as his motherland, but his tendency to bootlick USA and the West. But chance pushed him to unexpected heights and today he is an unconstitutional Prime Minister for hundred days with a cabinet of like minded Ministers (hunters of thieves and criminals) for the same period.
Ranil Wickramasinghe knowing that he would be a sure failure at another election fools the gullible President with a plan to set up a National government, in which he would naturally be President Maitripala Sirisena’s Prime Minister.
Then why go to elections at all ? Is this democracy in terms of President Maithripala Sirisena or is it his boring yahapalanay which has already created a police state threatening to take into custody the former President and his Ministers ?
If USA and the West were to ask Ranil Wickramasinghe to turn right, he would turns right, if USA and the West were to ask him to turn left, he would turns left. Ranil Wickramasinghe is now completely immersed in the USA plan of regime change hypnotically following its instructions.
Latest is Ranil Wickramasinghe’s attack on the Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot. Ranil Wickramasinghe says that , ……Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s close relationship with the Sri Lanka’s Rajapaksas was ‘a mystery’ to Sri Lankans” It is Ranil Wickramasinghe who is purposely making a mystery of it though there seems to be no mystery in it.
Has he gone paranoic ?

Ranil had said in an interview with the The Australian that, the Australian government’s silence on alleged human rights abuses was the price it paid to secure co-operation from the former Rajapaksa government on stopping asylum-seeker boats.”
This most disgusting man Ranil seeking to sling mud at the former President Mahinda Rajapakse has continued his uncouth statements most disgustingly unfit for some one who is being addressed to as Prime Minister, though he is constitutionally not a Prime Minister.
Ranil had said in the interview with The Australian , “……….It was being done by people with Rajapaksa connections, but once this deal was done between Australia and the Rajapaksa government, where you looked the other way (on human rights abuses), then secretary of defence got the navy to patrol,” he told The Australian. You could not have got anyone out of this country without someone in the security system looking the other way, the police or the navy…….”
This man Wickramasinghe is beating the drum for the USA and the West. The reason for his statement is s because the USA and the West want to take revenge from Australian Prime Minister for the following reason.
Australia has been accused of refusing to speak out on alleged war crimes committed in the last months of Sri Lanka’s 26-year civil war with Tamil separatists in which as many as 40,000 civilians were killed, and on subsequent allegations of human rights abuses, because it needed the Sri Lankan government’s support to stop the flow of boats. While fellow Western nations have pushed for an independent investigation through the UN Human Rights Council, Australia has said it is not its place to publicly lecture Sri Lanka on human rights.”
In fact when the Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot was asked by his western counterparts to raise the human rights issue with the President of Sri Lanka during CHOGM, Prime Minister Tony Abbot had said, ahead of travelling to Sri Lanka in 2013 for the Commonwealth summit, that he was “not inclined to go overseas and give other countries lectures” but he would be urging Colombo to “respect everyone’s rights”.
Prime Minister Tony Abbott was a gentleman compared to Prime Minister David Cameron who took the opportunity of his invitation to CHOGM to go to Jaffna making a fuss over human rights, meeting women who had lost their children during the terrorist war
It is quite evident that Ranil Wickramasinghe’s criticism of the Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot was to please his new political masters USA, the West, and India. Ranil Wickramasinghe’s arrogance against Australian PM is also because of his distancing from China on the advice of USA, the West and India.
A month later in October, the Indian government quietly launched an inter-ministerial review exercise to revisit India’s policies for the Indian Ocean. This followed on the heels of China’s proclaimed Maritime Silk Road, its growing influence around the Bay of Bengal, and the development of the Pakistani port of Gwadar, which is to be operated exclusively by Beijing. China is the biggest foreign investor in Australia, and has liberally provided economic aid, loans and investments to Myanmar and Fiji. Ranil Wickramasinghe is taking the 100day government opportunity to accuse the former President Mahinda Rajapakse, his wife, children, his brothers, all his collaborators, his Ministers, all Directors and Managing Directors of Companies and government enterprises, even Ambassadors appointed by the previous government( to put in place UNP supporters and Sympathisers), and reverse all development projects, and security measures that had been taken and put in place by the previous government.
Ranil wickramasinghe the 100 day Prime Minister of President Maithripala Sirisena is doing all this, with a view to take over completely the Administration into the hands of the UNP supporters, getting ready finally to make Maithripala Sirisena a ceremonial President and take over the Government as the Prime Minster with Executive powers. All this is being done while the President Maitripala Sirisena stands like a scarecrow- an effigy which stands like a man to scare away the birds.
Ranil Wickramsing who had promised press freedom, has already taken over all state media and had threatened the press saying that , ….. some newspapers had attempted to remove him from politics but they failed over the past 10 years and later they attempted to ensure Mahinda Rajapaksa won the Presidential elections last month, but he lost.Wickremesinghe said that while he has no issue with any newspaper backing Mahinda Rajapaksa at the next election, he will have an issue with anyone attempting create communal disharmony……some newspaper owners who have the support of Mahinda Rajapaksa are big businessmen and have a stake in the Colombo Stock Market but he will look to remove them from the Stock Market.”
There is a further media censure in the offing in addition to the media censure that is already on.
Ranil Wickramasinghe is a little panicky despite his words of bravado he has challeneged former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to contest the next general election as the UPFA’s prime ministerial candidate.
Addressing a meeting of UNP Puttalam District activists at Wennappuwa on Saturday, Wickremesinghe had said he would reduce Rajapaksa’s votes to five million from 5.8 million if the latter entered the fray. Ranil seems to be on the verge of a nervous breakdown despite his words of bravado, since the Nugegoda mammoth rally in support of the former President Mahinda Rajapakse inviting him to contest as the Prime Minster Candidate of the UPFA.
Ranil who has been defeated at 29 elections now dares to the former President Mahinda Rajapakse, …… to contest the next general election as the UPFA’s prime ministerial candidate…….” There is no doubt that in such a contest he will surely score his 30th defeat.

Loser of 29 times is a loser always in millions of eyes in this country. He is a traitor and a traitor and a traitor to the country for ever. He has gone crazy with the sudden power he got from nowhere. Still some stupids are there who believes in his fairytale stories. He and Chandrika (Bonny & Clyde) westernized couple who worship the white skin trying their best to bury Mahinda the great leader alive by making dirty stories against him and his family. This dirty trio will not succeed because the people of this country knows the truth already and they are waiting to teach these kangaroos in UNP & S.L.F.P a lesson in the coming General election.
100 day program is a farce. Except Gas, nothing is cheap still the same old prices in the market. From day one we don’t see any excitement except UNP thugs rampaging the country to catch thieves while police is watching. Already Tamils & Muslims have raised their heads and before long they will raise their flag too. LTTE Sympathizers are already protesting on the roads and shout slogans with their raised fists. We saw these things happened in LTTE time but not during the ten years of previous Govt. All the countries who supported the LTTE are coming back to the country one by one and they go straight away to the North to give advise and financial assistance to the Tamils. Muslim countries go to the East to assist their brothers and sisters and the Sinhala Buddhists just look on and do nothing. Two Malwatta Kapuralas just talking about Yahapalanaya and telling Ranil to catch the thieves. Why not talk about the danger the Sinhala Buddhists are facing today. They enjoy life much as these dirty politicians and doesn’t care about the country or the Sinhala people. When Americans visits them they embrace them with open arms and take their santhosam and keep quite without telling them to their face to keep out of our country and it’s affairs.
We the people must bring back Nugegoda Man before it’s too late. He is the answer to all our problems we are facing today. We should not trust the S.L.F.P leaders who are there at the moment. What Welgama said was true about Siripala ” How a man who cannot win his own electorate can Govern the country” All these traitors are trying to stop Mahinda coming back but we the people must bring him back to lead the masses who love this country very much. We have to get rid of these Tamil & Muslim sympathizers before they give in writing North & East to these ungrateful two groups who are up in arms to get their dream lands.

My agony is that these so called NARI have no remorse over the division of Sri Lanka. Politicians who have governed the post colonial Sri Lanka had always thought of minority grievances to stay in power. If populations are to be reduced without war and pestilence, then give FREE Neem tablets to one and all, both men and women. Neem (Kohomba) is effective for for both men and women – already proven so in India. A foreign company wanted to patent (!) the Kohomba tree in India and this was fought away by great Indian physicist Dr Vandana Shiva. India and Lanka must work together on such matters.

Bernard Wijesinghe, No one can be correct all the time. I know Charles Perera for a long time, have not met him physically but via e-mails and phone calls. I quote you “I do not agree with on US polices”. Ask your self the question. What are the polices of OBAMA? I live in the state of Florida USA. I get current affairs news daily form web sites and e-mails, which you don’t. Yesterday OBAMA vetoed a bill from the congress. Using the Executive power of the presidency but the way he did it is not in the constitution. A federal Judge in TEXAS agreed with the petitioner and negated it. REPUBLICAN controlled congress did very bad thing by cutting funding to Boarder control. Now, boarder guards across MAXICO does not get paid and they did not come to work today. I think Bernard, you better keep to Sri Lankan issues because to address US issues with Sri Lanka issues is very complicated. I ask you to itemize the issues in the article you do not agree and I will answer them one by one instead Charles Perera answering them. Like you Charles do not live in USA so he has to rely on what he gets on e-mails and web sites. I will give an example Few weeks ago OBAMA appointed MENDIS to his White Staff and now he lives in the WHITE HOUSE. OBAMA OPENLY SAID “I AM THE EMPORROR OF SRI LANKA”. Pardon me if I butt in to ask you which Bill you are referring to that Pres Obama has vetoed unconstitutionally ?
As far as we know Pres Obama has now vetoed three Bills during his entire Presidency and the one vetoed yesterday is the Keystone Pipeline Bill. We who love planet Earth applaud Pres Obama for doing that ! The Keystone line from Canada would have brought endless pollution problems to USA, particularly for the already polluted Gulf of Mexico. Unless of course deluded people see that as a plus for the environment !

Fran Diaz yes he vetoed the Keystone pipe line from Canada. Issue here is that Obama used veto power that is not in line with the Constitution. A Texas federal judge agreed with a petitioner a private citizen. What the judge meant was Obama did not adhere to the constitution. My penny’s take on this is Obama couldn’t care less about the US constitution. Obama is like Ranil, because he is the Emperor he couldn’t careless about the Sri Lanka constitution. Just after the elections Obama appointed Mendis who is a graduate of Howard University. This was on all the SL news media. Go to Infolanka web site click on news then go down on left hand side Sunder Leader, col3net, Colombo Telegraph, etc. Another web site that US state department funds is “Ground views” This man Professor Muttukrishna is challenging Rohan Gunarathne. This man has so many degrees form various universities it is difficult for one to believe. Question you should ask your self is How did this man enter the country? And when?

Please remember Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe was also the “Unofficial” Prime Minister of the Ex President Mr. Mahinda Rajapakse. Both of them for long, long years had that understanding of “you scratch my back and I will scratch yours'”. That understanding date backs to 1991 and is being continued to date and perhaps many more years to come.

There was plenty of evidence that the Presidential election was rigged. I am surprised that none of the people who are trying to bring back Mahinda thought of filing a court case about the rigged election. There were two articles written by Dirook Kannangara (See below) which showed that that number of voters in Jaffna, Vanni, Nuwara Eliya etc had gone by by almost 91% in some areas compared to the numbers who voted in 2010. I cannot understand why no one has brought this to courts with the proper evidence. If it can be proven in court or by the Election Commissioner that the election was rigged then the whole election is null and void and Mahinda reverts to being the President. Can someone please tell me why this was not done.

Pres. Obama acted within the Constitution. He is a Constitutional Professor. If the Texas Judge said that Pres Obama acted against the Constitution, then this Judge is acting for the State of Texas and the Oil lobby only, and not for the well being of America or Mexico, or even the larger interests of Texas environmental issues ! in such a situation, who prevails ? The greater good or the lesser $$$ and immediate Ego interests ?
As for folks like Mendis & Muthukrishna – there are hundreds of such people working for or against The People of Lanka.
Why pay attention to people who are not life supportive and generally work for for $$$ and thir Ego ? Waste of
